Excellent read, even with notes quick read and several good take aways. Focus on the future, Don't look back except to learn the focus is the next game. "On to Cincinnati."

As Bill Walsh wrote and one of his Books Beichick referenced, you take care of the fundamentals and you do your job, the scoreboard will take care of yourself.

For coaches and for leaders both on the field and in the office, worth the time to read and learn. Listen to others they cane bring you new and creative options and ideas.

Full disclosure, I HATE THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS AND BILL BELICHICK from a football perspective. I do however admire and respect their sustained excellence! However I am addicted to any book that talks about leadership, culture, and building an organization. This book validates what Bill Belichick has done with the Patriots. My only problem with the book is the grammatical errors. No matter your industry, this will help you become a better leader

Quick read with gems that can be taken wider

The book was about a 1-2hr read. The organisation and style was clear and easy to follow. The authors have done a good job of summarizing the ideas with relevant observations by Belicheck, past subordinate coaches and team members and the media.
As an coach of junior sports and a member of the military. I found lots of ideas that I can adapt and scale to my own situations. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Do your job

Nice short summary of some leadership applications from behind the curtain in Foxboro. There's a ton of highlight-able sound-bite type advice that I will reference down the road.

Good summary

Decent to good summary of Belichick philosophy. This book is football focused but adaptable to other sports and even the corporate world.
