When I saw the above scene in the movie, The Mummy, where the book of Amun-Ra, or the golden book of the living, is read by Rachel Weisz, I started searching for books related to this topic. This brought me books like the Necronomicon, also known as the Book of the Dead.

The fans of H.P. Lovecraft will be already familiar with this book. Lovecraft later said that the book was his invention and that the Necronomicon never existed. But some say that this book actually exists. There are multiple hoax versions and prank versions of it.

The actual existence of Necronomicon is still controversial, and nobody knows whether such a book actually exists. Well, then, I found this version of this book. I have no clue whether this book is authentic or a hoax version. But I have to admit that it is pretty dark.

The book starts with advice not to read this book if you are curious. It is said that people who worked behind this book, including the author and all those who read it, have had mysterious deaths. That was interesting, and I love to take on challenges and don't believe much in conspiracy theories. So I decided to go for it.

The book was pretty dark. It has certain ritualistic mantras and ways to sacrifice animals and human beings for immortality. The author tries to scare the readers after every two or three paragraphs. Instead of making me afraid, I simply found it funny many times. I read this book a few days ago, and I am still alive. You can also try this book (at your own risk) if you want a different reading experience.

این نسخه از نکرونومیکون ترجمه فارسی داره، اما ترجمه فقط بخشی از کتابه و کامل نیست.
این ترجمه بیشتر داستانیه، عکس های گوتیک خیلی جالبی داره ولی دستورالعمل هاش کامل و واضح نیستن.
توی نسخه دیگه ، ویرایش هادسن، دستورالعمل ها کاربردی و ساده ان

ما چندتا ورژن از این کتاب پیدا کردیم که با هم فرق داشتن و اینجا نمیتونم مشخص بگم کدوم کدومه ولی اینو برا اون ورژنی که مثلا اسکن صفحات گریمور با نقاشی ها و طرح ها و به زبون اصلیشه میذارم. طرح های خیلی خوبی داشت واقعا ولی خب از نوشته های داخلش چیزی نمیشد فهمید.

این در کنار اون کتاب انگلیسی و دو تا ترجمه مختلف فارسی ای که همراهش داشتیم ترکیب جذابی بود.

Οφείλω να παραδεχτώ πως οι Αρχαίοι Σουμέριοι είχαν φτιάξει μια εντυπωσιακή μυθολογία. Το Νεκρονομικόν σε μεγάλο βαθμό μιλάει για τις δοξασίες και τους κοσμικούς φόβους που είχε αυτός ο ξεχασμένος λαός. Η παρούσα έκδοση περιγράφει πλήθος τελετών, επικλήσεων, αφορισμών και εξορκισμών. Δεν είναι σαφές από που προήλθε το κείμενο που υποτίθεται ότι έγραψε κάποτε κάποιος με το όνομα Αμπντούλ Αλχαζρέντ, παρόλα αυτά, το σκοτάδι και ο τρόμος που αποσκοπούν να μεταδώσουν τα κείμενα του βιβλίου το καταφέρνουν μια χαρά.
