But when Nancy Barnett revived, she thought Wayne Crocker had kidnapped her, and Wayne doesn’t have the words or the way to persuade her otherwise. Trapped together with no telephone or electricity, Wayne must keep Nancy from making an accusation that could imprison him until his dying day.
She owed him her life -- but did she have to be his forever?

LOVED THE BOOK IT BEGAN OUT GOOD AND WAS GOOD TO THE END. THE MALE MAIN CHARACTER FINDS A WOMAN IN A VERY NASTY STORM SHE IS IN THE WATER ESCAPING FROM A CAR THAT WENT INTO THE WATER. HE SAVES HER LIFE BUT THEN HE HAS TOT AKE HER TO HIS TRAILER BECAUSE THE WEATHER IS TO BAD TO DO OTHERWISE AND THEY ARE BOTH FROZEN FROM THE COLD COLD WATER. HE WANTS TO KEEP HER. SHE STRUGGLES FROM REALITY AND FANTASY IN A HALF-CONSCIENCE STATE. IS HE A KEEPER OR A HOMICIDAL RAPIST OR A MAN OF DESPERATION?
IT WAS VERY GOOD THERE IS ONE BAD THING THE USE THE "N" WORD FOR BLACK PEOPLE WHICH I DO NOT LIKE NOR AGREE WITH, THE BOOKS WAS WRITTEN DURING SEGREGATION TIMES. SO I HAD TO LOOK OVER THAT PLUS IT PLAYED A BIG PART IN THE BOOK IN THE END.
