* * *Bestselling Haven City Series* * * Tyler Harrison doesn't believe in love. Between his fledgling tattoo parlor and an annoying older brother he's got too much shit going on in his life to even think about it. But when he meets Quinn Winters, a mysterious shifter, he realizes he might've been wrong. Even if Tyler assumed he was straight, Quinn fills him with desires he's never known. A desire that tells Tyler, an alpha wolf, that Quinn is his mate. Or Quinn could be his mate if the shifter wasn't bound to someone else – a human. Quinn is one of the last of his kind – a rarity in the Shadow World – and he's spent his whole life as a prisoner to a family he hates. Tyler Harrison is his saving grace, but can an alpha with a broken past really be the one to rescue Quinn, or will they have to rescue each other? Contains a gay for you / out for you romance with fated mates between a hot and tattooed alpha wolf and a mysterious shifter including graphic gay sex and a HEA ending.

Alpha Enchanted

From the last book we get a closer look at the character Tyler Harrison, who is having a hard time accepting the return of his brother and figuring out the role of an alpha.

He has a run in with a very rare species in the shadow world and sets out to free him from the prison he's been held in. Love blossoms along the way.

Great story with wonderful characters and as I've said on other books in this series, I fall in love each time I open one of these books. I don't know how, but the further along this world goes, the better these characters and stories are getting!

Intriguing story

I loved the mystery that was built up around Quinn’s nature. It was fun trying to guess what he was, how he had been captured and held for so long, and what the Montgomery family got out of holding Quinn. Most of these questions were answered, but I’m still a bit shady on the last one.

Did the Montgomerys actually get something out of the enslavement? Was Quinn truly being held so that he couldn’t use his powers on others? Was Brad’s poor health & his father’s death a direct consequence of holding Quinn, or was it independent?

Then, the other question that I had while reading this: if shifters once had magic, can they regain it? And what would that do to the power dynamic of the shadow world?

I read this book because I was specifically looking for a book containing a shifter of Quinn's type... which means I knew prior to reading what the "mysterious animal" was. Sadly, I do think that foreknowledge sucked a bit of the fun/suspense out of this one. But, I nevertheless really enjoyed this interpretation. I really liked Tyler as a character as well; he turned out to be far more mature and responsible than he seemed through other character's eyes in the previous books, and ain't that often the truth for little brothers?

3 1/2 stars better then the last one

It was a good story but it didn't carry the same significance as the first few novels of this series. Davis and Ken came out of nowhere and the same here with this book. If it weren't for a cameo of Rory and Jin, neither belonged.

Yesssss. I got my Tyler book and it was fantastic. Love that I spent a portion of the book trying to sort out what kind of shifter Quinn was AND I GOT IT WRONG. That pleases me to no end, truly. Love it.

A shifter I hadn't come across before but knew they were out there. Not surprised all these shifters are becoming rare given their sexual orientation.

Tyler and Quinn make a great couple. Beyond their great chemistry they each have things to hide, things they feel that make them ugly. Once those things come out in the open it strengthens the relationship to overcome the dilemma to save Quinn and Tyler.

Good solid read but it wasn't one of my favorites, just couldn't relate to the characters. Still, it was entertaining and a good tale.

This is by far my favorite in the series so far. I loved everything about Quinn, and the mythology was so fun. It was nice to see something good happen for Tyler, too.
