Two hundred years ago Kendrick Ashwood had a premonition that showed him the gruesome image of his baby brother being killed in the line of duty while serving with the Alpha Unit. I just love this series so much. It's fun, cute, hilarious, and totally addicting. I can't seem to get enough of Meryn, Aiden, Colton, Rhiea, Gavriel, Beth, Darian, Amelia, and of course Ryuu. I missed Keelan a lot in this book though. I loved Kendrick and thought Anne was sweet.
"Never has a truer statement been spoken. Women always have the upper hand, always. " Meryn pumped her fist in the air. "Because we kick ass!" Kendrick smiled slyly. "It's because you have the magic bean." Meryn frowned as Aiden choked on his coffee. "What magic bean?" Elizabeth blushed. "Oh dear." Anne had to suppress a giggle. "I only know of two magic beans: the cocoa bean and the coffee bean," Meryn insisted. Kendrick clucked his tongue. "Commander, you have been remiss in your duties."
"You've always lived for others. First, your parents, then your patients, and now Keelan. Will you allow me to put you first? I've waited a very, very long time to meet you."-Kendrick
"I think I am. Before, when there was confusion about Keelan, I wasn't sure where I belonged. Guilt at my attraction to you made me doubt who I was, but now..." -- She wrapped her arms around his neck--" ....now I know that's it's okay to be in love with you."- Anne
Alanea Alder did a great job of progressing the story line enough to keep me hooked. She just keeps building and building on a great plot. And because the other characters are so much a part of each book, they all have well developed personalities. The parts where it was just Kendrick and Anne were steamy and sweet, but I did feel there should have been a little more focus on the couple. I loved the scene with the girl scouts. I laughed so hard! In this book just like with the other 4 books Meryn was my favorite character. I just adore her crazy ass. I know she may bug others, but for some reason she just works for me and makes me smile and laugh in every book. Of course this book is a to be continued book so I am really looking forward to when the next book comes out. Come out soon Please!!!!

This series has been quite the ride, and just a heads-up, the last book leaves us hanging a bit. Each installment could stand alone, but the author has crafted a gripping narrative that keeps us on our toes.
Keelan sacrificed his soul to protect his friends, and now he finds himself in a sort of limbo. His friends have placed him in an induced coma while they figure out how to help him. Meanwhile, there's the looming shadow of Kendrick, Keelan's older brother, who had a premonition over two centuries ago predicting Keelan's death. Despite
Kendrick's warnings against joining the Alpha Unit, Keelan did the exact opposite, leading to a rift between the brothers fueled by their stubbornness. Yet, Kendrick has always kept a watchful eye on Keelan and his unit, sensing that something was amiss.

Yet again, I couldn’t be happier with this read!
Kendrick is the ultimate alpha. Possibly the most powerful MC in the series. As a witch he added so much to the Alpha group. With the loss of his brother Kendrick found himself in the one place he never wanted to be. He spent his time in the archives not as a warrior .... or so you would think. Kendrick has many secrets that come out in this novel that just creates an even edgier storyline.
Anne wasn’t the strongest FMC in the series and possibly my least favorite. As I continued reading I could see this was a smart move by the author. I don’t believe a MC like Kendrick would have worked with a strong sassy FMC.
I have not read a series back to back like this one. Usually by book 3 a series is leveling out but this one keeps topping itself.

Alanea has done it again! I couldn't wait to read this story and to see how the journey continues. I admit, I wasn't sure how the Anne/Keelan/Kendrick conflict would turn out but of course I should have had more faith in Alanea's fantastic plot making. Also, the prologue made me teary eyed, it was so sad to see Anne's father say goodbye.
Not only did I really enjoyed to see all the old characters and their hilarious ways but I also grew to love the new couple.
"Anne, super nurse, one. Almighty Kendrick, zero. This will probably be one of the best moments of our relationship. I should take a picture!"
Aiden stepped forward. "We would like to negotiate."
The ninja with metal in her mouth looked up. "What's negotiate?"
Aiden leaned back and winked at him. "Evasive answering. They are professionals. Look, she has the most badges, she is clearly their leader."
He then leaned down and got right in the ninja's face. "We want your cookies."
Anne gave as good as she got and although she came across a bit shy at the beginning, she latter on fully blossomed and reminded me of a much milder version of Meryn. She always put others needs before her own and grew also very protective of her new family.
I liked Kendrick character a lot. Maybe because he was the male version of Meryn or maybe because he was the perfect boyfriend and I wished I got someone like him for my own. His personality has so many layers and there were times I simply wanted to just hug him and make everything better for him and his brother.
As for the plot, I felt like the story took a big step (compared to previous ones) towards uncovering the bad guys and their plains. Not the big boss but at least we got some names and faces. My Brother's Keeper has action, romance, mystery, humor and of course our HEA for the couple. We also find out more about Keelan and how his big sacrifice really was.
I read I definitely recommend!

I’m so happy that this book made mind clear a bit at how bad the H from the previous book was for me.
The H in this one really made up for the previous ‘disappointment’, he and the h, Anne were just wonderful, so strong and loyal, easily overcoming the obstacle that was the misinterpretation of the Anne in Kellan’s (H’s brother) life. I liked that even though they were not sure that each others mates, they always treated the other with love and care. And when they realized that they were truly mate, they gave everything to the other.
The sex scenes were pretty hot and even a bit magical ;), and Hendrick showed one more reason for which why I consider him one of the best Hs of the series.
Now that, ladies and gentlemen is the way to make your mate feel special and unique (Not the crap the author pulled in the previous book).
The subplot keeps enveloping us more and more, and the standing characters fulfill the story, and the most amazing way. I love that even trough all the problems they have to overcome, the funny snippets are in abundance.
And the ninja girls scene (girl scouts), OMG, I had tears streaming down my face. It was awesome!
That being said I look forward to the rest of series, especially for Kellan’s story, he has more than earned it!

After being disappointed in the last book I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this one. I absolutely love Kendrick- he is a total badass witch. Anne is a great heroine- she is a human nurse. The confusion about who her mate was wasn't drawn out or very angsty at all. This book was thoroughly enjoyable! The suspense storyline amped up in this one and was very interesting. I really felt the connection between Kendrick and Anne! I loved seeing all the other couples- especially Aiden and Meryn- they are still my favorite. I am really hoping this isn't the last book. There are plenty of other warriors and the suspense portion wasn't wrapped up. This is one of my favorite series. Loving 4 out of 5 books makes this a successful series for me!

So, I was a little bit disappointed in this one. I loved both Kendrick and Anne. They were terrific and were great together. What I was disappointed in was it took up to about 50% for the mate confusion to be resolved. This caused less time for them to be together as a couple. Even when it was all straightened out, it still seemed, to me, the back story line of the ferals etc. took up more pages than Kendrick and Anne actually together. It was still a great read and I love this series. I'm looking forward to the next one.

This series is my guilty pleasure, i love the plot, i love the doctor who references, i love the little fairy buddy (a sprite) and i love the awesome warriors.
My Brother's keeper is the 5th book in the bewitched and bewildered series and the story starts just where we left it in book 4.
This is Kieran's book, he is Keelan's brother, in the end of book 4 Keelan lost his soul to save his friends, now Kieran who lived most of his life in stormkeeps (this is where the strongest witches live) has come to lycanoa to help bring his brother back.
To be honest i have nothing to say about the couple from this book, not because i didnt like them or because they were a bad couple, i actually liked everything that happened, both characters were very smart in how they handled their relationship, the thing is.. The plot is getting so good that i wasn't paying atention to them, but i do love Kieran and Anne.
In this book we discovered more about how the necklaces with the souls work, where Kieran and Keelan come from, what the bad guys want and that was i wanted!
We saw some badass Ryuu moments so that was a plus!
I think Alanea is doing a great job with the story line, i read some of her kindred of archadia series and i have to say her writing has improved and her imagination too.
I like the plot twist about the protection border spell and i liked how there were hints since early in the book.
My only complaint is as always, Meryn.. Seriously can she stop being so freaking important? I get it she is super awesome and bla bla but im sick of reading about her in the other couples books! And i kinda understand that ok maybe this is a characters dear to Alanea's heart but here is the thing, the series is not called "Meryn's advetures in Lycanoa"
Oh and i want my baby Kee safe and sound and i really hope you bring him back soon and with an awesome mate because he's a freaking prince and deserves nothing but the best!

Ve en önemlisi Lycaoniadan çıkıyor gibiyiz. Yeni hikayemizde vampir şehri Noctem Fallsa gideceğiz sanırım. Nice!😂
Bir önceki hikayede acı bir kaybımız vardı. Finali de bu savaşçının ağabeyinin bir ateşle gelişiyle bitirmiştik. Storm Keep'ten basit , fakir ve aşağı bir büyücü olan Kendrick. Kendisini bu şekilde tanıtıyor en azindan. 🤭Bundan ikiyüz yıl önce kardeşinin Alfa Biriminde ölümü bulacağını bildiği için kavga etmişlerdir. Araları açık olsa da son bir gayretle kardeşini kurtarmak için yola çıkar. Ama elinde nefes alan bir kabuk vardır sadece. Kee ruhunu kaybetmiştir ama bir nevi bitkisel hayatta gibi, bedeni hala yaşıyor. Ufak tefek bilim ve büyü de işin içine girmiştir.
Kee bu durumdayken onu hemşire eşine emanet etmek kadar mantıklı bir şey olamaz sanırım 🤔 Ama aralarında sadece dostça bir ilişki olan Anne ve Kee gerçekten eş midir? Herkes böyle düşünüyor gibi, sonuçta rüyalar da bu yönde. Ama kardeşine ikizi kadar benzeyen Kendrick ne olacak. 😂 Malum kitabın ana unsuru olsa gerek, Anne ve Kendrick iki günde birbirlerini eş olarak iddia ettiler bile😂 Yazar bunlar biran önce kavuşsun da diğer konulara geçelim diye iki bölümde karakterleri bağlıyor hemen😂
Kendrick ve geçmişine dair bayağı ciddi ve önemli bilgiler de edindik. O değil Mery'nin etrafı yüksek rütbeli ırklarla kuşatılıyor. Önce Fae Prensi şimdi de Büyücülerin Kralı 😂Bu spoiler oldu ama olsun bişey olmaz🙈
Yabaniler boş durmuyor yine. Sürekli saldırı peşindeler. Kendrick ise Yabanileri görünmez, güçlü, akıllı, yetenekli yapan kolyeyi çözümleme peşinde. Ve edindiği yeni bilgiler bizi fazlasıyla aydınlatıyor . Biraz da kalp kırıyor. Hangi pislik güç uğruna masumlara zarar veriyorsa pisliğinde boğulsun!😤
Bu hikayede sarsıldık, ve çokça yeni şey öğrendik. Ve çok şükür markete giderken aklı başında birini bulabildim 😂 Kendrick'in insan dünyasına daha aşina olması harikaydı. Klasik ürün tanıtımı yapar gibi markete gidip ürün alma seansları olmadan kitap tamamlanmıyor malum😂 Bu hikayede kurabiye satan, gayet masum küçük çocukları özel eğitimli ninja sandılar ya pes yani 😂 Akıllarını neyle besliyorlar oksijen alıyorlar mı çok merak ediyorum. Kendimi Alfa Malikanesinde pek de güvende hissetmeyebilirim 😂
Yine fena olmayan bir hikayeydi. Çok fazla saçmalıklar ve mantık hataları var ama alışınca tamamen eğlence amaçlı okuyor insan 😂 Çok ciddiye almadan okunacak bir seri😂

Araları açık olsa da son bir gayretle kardeşini kurtarmak için yola çıkar. Ama elinde nefes alan bir kabuk vardır sadece. Kee ruhunu kaybetmiştir ama bir nevi bitkisel hayatta gibi, bedeni hala yaşıyor. Ufak tefek bilim ve büyü de işin içine girmiştir.

I haven't read these books in a while so I reread the first couple books I forgot how amazingly funny they were. Kendrick Ashwood hasn't talked to his baby brother Keelan in a long time because he didn't want his brother to join the Alpha Unit seeing that he would get killed. When he feels amelia's his goddaughter power losing control he tells her to calm herself but she reveals that Keelan is dead. Refusing to believe it Kendrick arrives to see if its true and how he will bring him back. Kendrick was used to thinking that maybe his brother would live but the premonition was true now he sets off to find everything he can to help the Alpha unit as well as find the right spell to help find his soul. When Anne was told Keelan needed her she wasn't expecting to see him dead lying on the bed with machines around him but being she was his mate she was there. When Kendrick and Anne meet they feel something for each other but they told he Keelan was her mate so she doesn't know what is happening. Later to discover that Kendrick is her mate, not Keelan, Keelan was just protecting her and he felt no attraction to her. When the ferals are getting more out of control Kendrick discovers more than what he was looking for and shows that there could be a traitor in the council. Things turn out worse and now each of them is ready to fight to bring down the mastermind behind the attacks.
I loved this story Kendrick was all grumpy and just lived on his rules but inside he was a nerd and liked to find out more to what he reads.

This series just continues to get better with each book. The alpha unit is at it again, keeping us on our toes and grabbing our sides as they take us through an emotional wringer love, laughter, anger, family and friendship. In true alpha unit form, we meet some new people and reconnect with everyone else. I can’t wait to read what happens next!

I liked it but the whole mating confusion/secrecy thing got on my nerves, it took until 47% for it to be resolved and even when it was the MC had being relegated to the back while the main story went on.

This is an amazing book, I'm literally falling in love with Alanea Alder, she just naturally brings everything I love into her books.
At first I was hesitating to read this book because from the previous book we know that it involves Keelan having his soul taken and then his older brother falling in love with the same woman who is supposed to be his mate.
I thought it would have a lot of angst, I'm not saying there wasn't cause there was but thankfully it wasn't through the whole series.
- I liked all the characters new and old, Kendrick was unexpectadly funny and witty, and Anne was just like me which literally was a first.
- I liked that the author increased the percentage of geekiness and nerdness in her books, not just refrencing movies and The Doctor but now anime which other books is my other obsession.
- The writing was so much influencial that I started chocking up from page 5 and holdingback my tears was a huuuuuuge effort.
- I loved how both Kendrick and Anne instantly fit in with the rest of the crazy crew, making me wish I could join in as well.
- I loved how Kendrick was convinced about the others devotion tohis brother and how he became one of the family to them as well, and the moments he had flashbacks about his brother made me want to cry so bad.
- I was shocked at the Ryuu part I honostly didn't expect that someone would come to take him back to japan and he would go, I also cried at that part as well, but thankfully Merlyn and Kendrick were there to the rescue, and what I liked more was how the others expressed their love for Ryuu that made him speechless and nearly wanting to cry.
- Plus more shocking things kept coming, like who helped Kendrick at the end, none other than our famous douchebag vampire elder Rene, I was so shocked that he helped, and I wonder how the others would react when they know of his assistance.
- I was happy about the news of Keelan's soul since it turns out that he wasn't in the hands of the enemy.

My Brother's Keeper is no different. It picks up where My Savior left off with a surprise visit from Keelan's big brother Kendrick from Storm Keep.
The events in book 4 have left the gang heart-hurt and in search of a way to correct what's been done to one of their own. Chances of succeeding in this greatly improve when Kendrick arrives. His magical abilities far surpass those of any witch serving one of the units.
Anne Bennett, human nurse and Keelan's mate, recently arrived at the mansion as well to do whatever she could to help. As with all of the other members of Alpha Unit, Keelan had been dreaming of Anne, which had always led to the men to find their mate. Their case is slightly different, however. Neither has romantic feelings for the other, but they do form a strong friendship. She's a bit taken aback by Kendrick, who looks very similar to Keelan. So similar that HE could be her mate and not Keelan?
I'm anxious for the next installment, My Guardian . Beth has been summoned to Noctem Falls by her uncle and told to bring Meryn along. (Aside from the random grammatical errors, this is one of my favorite series of 2015) Also in 2016, INCEPTION, a Vanguard novella: "Wander through the years while following one of Lycaonia's most dedicated unit warriors and discover how the Vanguard came to be."

I love this series and the way in which the story moves through each book is phenomenal. I have found as the series progresses and the story gets more intricate in each book you see less of a focus on the couple and more of a focus on the story, this makes me a little sad as I would have liked to see more of a focus on Anne and Kendrick in this book it feels like I missed out a little in this book with Anne and Kendrick's story that is why I couldn't give 5 stars. So while I did miss the fact that this book had so little about Anne and Kendrick's romance I loved everything else about it. The actually story that this series is based around is facinating and Alanea Alder has done a great job with the flow and progression of the story through each book, I am positive we will see Keeland back and getting his own story at some stage in the future maybe even the next book if we are lucky, although this is speculation. I loved to see all our old loved and hated characters back even if only for a mention and although this book is probably the most serious we definitely still get the humour we know and love from this author. I think if you are a fan of this series you may have the same disappointment as me for not getting much "alone" time with Anne and Kendrick to see their relationship evolve which I was sad about but I think you will still love the book and if you haven't read a book in this series before you definitely need to start from the beginning because this series relies on your previous knowledge from each story to really understand the story especially for books 4 and 5. I can't wait for the next book in this series or the spin off Vanguard series!!

I really liked Anne and Kendrick, and their relationship development was interesting. I liked their interactions with all the other characters too, especially Ryuu.
So much happened in this book and there are still so many things that seem impossible to solve.
I’m really enjoying this series as the plot is interesting and there are always a lot of scenes with the characters interacting with each other. While this series has shifters, I feel like they never shift. It’s not bothering me because I’m really enjoying the plot and characters, but it was just something I noticed.

My Brother's Keeper is book 5 in the Bewitched and Bewildered series and it continues to bring the magic! In this book, we get a bit of mate confusion, more scary reapers/super ferals, more Meryn, and plenty of magic!
Kendrick comes to Lyconia because his brother has been injured; when he arrives he notices that there is something terribly wrong and he will have to use every bit of his magical knowledge to try and get him back. Anne met Keelan and she believed they were mates. She dreamed about him, he dreamed about her. But, when she meets Kendrick she realizes her dream was about him, not his brother Keelan! Awkward!
While each book focuses on a different couple, you must read them in order to really fully understand the character dynamics and story arc. My Brother's Keeper features the complicated romance of Kendrick and Anne, but the plot of the reapers/super ferals and the impending danger has been building for several books now.
One thing I appreciate about this series is its empowerment of women. Meryn is odd (I think that she would likely be diagnosed with something like high functioning ASD with her struggle in social situations and fixation on specific interests) but she is revered for being a brilliant strategist. Rheia is a doctor who saves many in the town. Elizabeth is a powerful politician type. The men are the braun but the women are the brains and the heart. This balance is what has made the series so appealing to me. My Brother's Keeper is no different. Anne is an astute nurse who has learned to anticipate the needs of doctors and patients and truly wants to be the best nurse possible. It's admirable for sure.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention how trying I find Meryn at times. So much of everyone else's story is taken away from by her. As I said above, she is a fascinating character, but she is a bit over the top. That is my only struggle with books as they continue on.

However, there are recurring characters and an underlying interconnected conflict that play a major part in all the books, therefore to avoid spoilers, I highly recommend reading the books sequentially.
OMG! I loved, loved, loved My Brother's Keeper. Alder's books are like crack for us paranormal romance junkies! I can see it now: Room in a church basement, a circle of chairs, surrounded by a group of grim faces, and I stand and say, "Hello, my name is Judy and I'm an Alanea Alder paranormal romance addict!" lol... All joking aside, Alder's books really are addictive. They're like potato chips; you can't stop with just one! This is the fifth book of the series and each story gets better and better! I can hardly wait to dive into the sixth! lol... I love unique paranormal romance, addicted to danger, action, adventure & suspense, completely smitten with sexy, alpha heroes, adore sassy, courageous heroines, and there's nothing I enjoy more than a few mind-bending plot twists along with a generous infusion of laugh-out-loud humor, but when I can get it all in one exceptionally well-crafted and beautifully written book, I'm in absolute heaven! And that's exactly what Alanea Alder delivered - AGAIN - in My Brother's Keeper, the fifth full-length paranormal romance in her riveting and highly imaginative Bewitched & Bewildered Series. Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adult readers since it does contain explicit language, some violence, and steamy, dreamy sex. Will I read this author again? Absolutely which is probably the best recommendation I can give! As a matter of fact, after completing the first book of this series, I raced back to Amazon and purchased the remaining nine books and signed up for her newsletter, which speaks volumes as to how much I enjoyed this author's work! And the beautiful, human nurse Anne was so loving and selfless, refusing to abandon her best friend! And talk about a case of mistaken identity and plot twists out the yazoo! Like wow! But Kendrick and Anne were just so perfect together. Sigh... so dreamy! If you've been following this series, I can hardly wait for you to find out the true identity of Kendrick and Keelan! Totally blew me away! ANd once again, this story ripped my heart out of my chest! I snickered, snorted, sniffled, snuffled, chuckled, and outright ugly cried through the entire story! But just a little warning, folks, don't start this book unless you have plenty of time; you will not want to stop until you reach the last page. I should know; I stayed up all night AGAIN because I couldn't stop reading! lol... Alanea Alder, you're killing me! If you enjoy perilous danger, intense drama, agonizing angst, pulse-pounding action, nail-biting suspense, side-splitting humor, heartwarming romance, and a few mind-blowing plot twists that you'll never see coming, then this book is screaming your name. 5/5 Whooping Starz! My Mind--->BLOWN!! "Holy Shit Balls is right!" The plot just got a whole, WHOLE lot more interesting. Things are getting extremely interesting and Fate sure is building one kick-ass army [] When I read the book blurb for this one, I thought it would be a cliched, 'I-can't-love-my-unconscious-brother's-mate-even-though-it-breaks-my-heart-and-I'll-only-come-to-my-senses-at-the-end-blah..blah..blah..non-sense' BUT, it wasn't. Everything was quite reasonable and mature. Anne and Meryn, were however, not mature. They were happy and bubbly and smart and funny and total evil geniuses and I LOVED them! The story was intense, romantic, sweet, funny, action packed and filled with bubbling evil plans that are extrememly thrilling. I can't wait for the next book and I don't care if I sound selfish but I really hope Alanea Alder drops all her other projects and only keeps writing this series. 5/5 Whooping Starz! My Mind--->BLOWN!! "Holy Shit Balls is right!" The plot just got a whole, WHOLE lot more interesting. Things are getting extremely interesting and Fate sure is building one kick-ass army [] When I read the book blurb for this one, I thought it would be a cliched, 'I-can't-love-my-unconscious-brother's-mate-even-though-it-breaks-my-heart-and-I'll-only-come-to-my-senses-at-the-end-blah..blah..blah..non-sense' BUT, it wasn't. Everything was quite reasonable and mature. Anne and Meryn, were however, not mature. They were happy and bubbly and smart and funny and total evil geniuses and I LOVED them! The story was intense, romantic, sweet, funny, action packed and filled with bubbling evil plans that are extrememly thrilling. I can't wait for the next book and I don't care if I sound selfish but I really hope Alanea Alder drops all her other projects and only keeps writing this series. Omg Holy Hot Shit!! Alanea, did it again. You must read her series from the first four books that are amazing to get the full and whole story. Okay, So book 5 of the Bewitched and Bewildered series, My Brother's Keeper, was kick ass and unexpected with the plot.
It's fun, cute, hilarious, and totally and highly addicting series to get in too. I can't seem to get enough of Meryn[ Oh hey] , Aiden, Colton, Rhea, Gavriel, Beth, Darian, Amelia, and of course Ryuu. I miss Keelan and if you don't know what happened to him then you missed a book and then need to go back a book and read book 4.
I liked Kendrick character a lot. Maybe because he was the male version of Meryn and it's super funny with the two of them. I really like Anne as well, poor girl with getting mistaken for someone else mate.
I would recommended this story for Bewitched and Bewildered fans and fans to Paranormal Romance books.
And yes, i have read this series many times over.

CAN'T GET ENOUGH
I have been waiting for this book. And boy was it worth the wait.
First characters: I was worried about it being a love triangle. Alanea does a great job of explaining Anne and Kendrick's story. She keeps both of them honest and fighting for Keelan. And she doesn't forget Keelan and how he fits into this. Of course we get a look at all the Alpha team and their mates.
Second Story: So you have to read the rest of the series to figured out what's going on. But this story so so worth it. We start where book 4 ended. It is both heartwarming, heartbreaking and funny. Only downer to this book is that it ended and now I have to wait for the next one.
Third Hopes: I hope Alanea keeps going with this series. And we need more of Alpha team. And I hope we get his story. Once you read it you will know who I'm talking about.

It stands up just as good on the second read. Love Alanea Alder's writing style, and I have to say Meryn is so good, she makes me laugh out loud and I want more.

My Brother's Keeper is another five star for me in the Bewitched and Bewildered series.
Kendrick fast become one of my fav characters in this series. He was unapologetic, protective and didn't care what other's may have thought about him.
Of course my heart broke knowing Keelan's soul was gone and to see how the rest of the crew came together to deal with that is just another reason I have fallen in love with this series.
Once again Alanea has me laughing out loud with this book and has continuing to devour her books at record speed. The witty banter she continues to add into these books always has me smiling and she manages to break up the heavy with the light banter and antics that happen with the gang.

Kendrick's book!! O.M.G.!!! From Darian's book, it was kind of clear that Keelan's mate was not Anne, well I kind of always felt it, since Keelan had mentioned Anne. Kendrick...my my..what wonderful things we have heard about him. He's mysterious and powerful as well, it will be incredible to watch him falling for a girl who he thinks that is his brother's mate.
I want to read about Kendrick and Meryn, Meryn and Amelia and Meryn's new family of-course especially her new found brothers, there are six of them...O.M.G.
As much as I want all of this, I want Keelan to get well asap, and a wonderful mate for him as well. I need Keelan's HEA!!
