I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review.
This author is now one of hmmu favourites and in all honesty usually as soon as I receive my copy of her books in on it. However this time, due to illness, both Book 1 and Book 2 have been sat on my kindle so I thought I must get to them as I am SO glad I did. OMG, Book 1 is amazing, Cole is just dreamy and you have to love Lily, she just such a great character and I fell in love with her within the first cringe worthy chapter, you can just imagine that happening in real life! You would die of embarrassment, go home and eat a bucket of ice cream. As the story progressed I was completely hooked and loved it, the best story and writing so far. Couldn't wait for Book 2, and literally started it straight away.
Definitely recommend to others, amazing :)

I liked this book. A good start to the series. Lilly is a great character looking to start life on her own. She is looking for a job in a tech firm that is run by the some-what reclusive CEO Cole. This may just cost Lilly more than she can afford.

Cole is the CEO of Bumper, a up and coming tech firm. Cole seems to be more than meets the eye. He is also interested in Lilly a way that is more than a boss/employee relationship. The book also has some mystery/adventure elements. There is some crime going on with a nefarious scientist and some werewolf like creatures.

I cannot wait to read the second book to see how Deep Cole and Lilly get into all of the goings on in Lyon.

This is my first book by M.G. Walker and I must say that I really enjoyed it. You can tell that Ms. Walker loves to write as she has the ability to grab hold of you from the very beginning and has you guessing constantly as to what is going to happen next. Deep is unique and a little on the dark and edgy side. I am looking forward to reading more of the Heros of Lyon City series.
