Fallen Angel #4

Fallen Angel, Part 4

Rate this book
It was in a small room in a hotel in Washington, DC, that Brooke Stone’s life changed forever—again.

Life had been peaceful, as peaceful as being a member of one of the most powerful crime families in America could be.

But life has a habit of throwing a curve ball, a curve ball so fast and so wide it knocks everyone from their feet.

From the streets of DC to the hills of Tuscany, from death to the utmost joy – Join Brooke for the final chapter in the Fallen Angel series and witness the birth of a new dynasty.

This is a story of discovery, of finding a past, of heartache and the greatest of love.

‘I’ve seen death and I’ve faced my worst fears – I survived.’

The conclusion to the Fallen Angel series - A Mafia romance. Contemporary romance for readers over the age of 18 years. Contains graphic scenes of a sexual nature.

So what is the Fallen Angel series...

This is a mafia 'romance', with the emphasis on the romance. The four books are narrated by Brooke, a British woman who travels to Washington, DC, and falls in love. This is her story, her journey into a world she has only ever seen in a movie.

As is traditional, Brooke will be shielded from any 'mafia' activity, she won't know what's going on, what she finds out will be a surprise. Please don't go into this book expecting a gun-slinging mafia moll from the 1950's :)

This is a modern take on what the mafia are now, in the twenty-first century. There is a reason for the title, you'll discover this throughout the books.

There are four books in this story so, no, you won't know it all in book one.

I wanted to explore what it would be like for me, or you, to fall into a world we have no knowledge of. It's my belief that perhaps, we as British women, wouldn't take it seriously, perhaps we'd find it exciting. Our major reference into that world is a movie made a lot of years ago :)

I hope you enjoy the read.

This book is not paranormal, has nothing to do with angels, fallen or otherwise.

I have just completed this book, and omg the author has shattered me! I have followed Robert & Brooke along with Travis and Evelyn and the other characters since I first read Part 1. This story has been absolutely awesome from the beginning, and each book just keeps me gripped from the very first page I open.

Reading Robert & Travis story (books to go with this series) enlightened you to their life and where they began their journey, then Evelyn her story had to be told too. We then read about Rocco the man who Evelyn loved and lost. These are no ordinary characters, The Author makes them so real to you. They are extraordinary people with dark and dangerous lives, you definitely cannot help but think of them any other way except your family, I loved each and every one of these main characters, and hated others with a vengeance. Talk about getting you emotional, wow this series sure does that!!

You laugh with them, you cry with them, you feel like you have been dragged inside out and put through a wringer. Tracie Podger sure knows how to turn a story into something you are hooked on, you cannot put it down, you feel like dying when you're getting to the last few pages, you cannot stand the thought of the story being finished.

I could have took a stick to the Author and smacked her a few times during this book, it got me so emotional, I was yelling at the kindle DON'T YOU DARE, imagining what was coming next. I feel emotionally drained at the end of this story, but it was amazing, one that I will never forget for sure.

My thanks to the Author for allowing me to read an advance copy of her amazing story. Now who do I send the bill to for the tissues?

Favorite Quotes:

I looked at him – his olive skin, his dark eyes and his crooked nose – and knew I would follow that man to the ends of the earth no matter what he did.

I lay beside the man that had turned my world upside down and watched him close his beautiful black eyes. I watched his breathing deepen until he drifted into sleep. There were no words to describe the depth of feelings I had for him. Love wasn’t enough. He owned me – body and soul.

If Travis really likes someone, he’s rude to them for some strange reason. Hence the reason he’s still single. He doesn’t quite get it.

Where Robert was concerned, there were no equals – not even me – in his family. It had taken me five years to accept that. He respected me, he loved me unconditionally, but for him to keep me safe, keep my child safe, he had to rule.

“Did I tell you today how much I loved you?”
“No, but you can if you want.”
“More than life itself.”

My Review:

My mind is blown! I am in awe at the surprise ending that was perfect and satisfying, yet left me still wanting to continue this fascinating and addictive story. Tracie Podger has mad skills. The conclusion to this series was highly emotive, action-packed, heartbreaking, sensual, and intense with intrigue, emotion, and suspense. It was – breathtaking, stunning, stellar! My feeble mind is still processing the shocking revelations at the end – I fear I am overwhelmed and flooded with superlatives. I am beyond sad to bid them farewell.

Wow, I wasn't sure where this fourth book would take us as life for Robert and Brooke seemed settled. However five years later and their world is turned upside down as a series of incidents happen that could potentially make or break them.

The mafia element to the story is turned up as is the mega alpha Robert Stone, he is still as sexy as ever and able to take control of a situation in seconds. Brooke is still determined and feisty. The only woman to actually stand up to Robert. Travis is a changed man after the events of book three but still a loveable rogue. The next generation of "the family" shine through in this book and I would love to be able to read more about their future.

I have been gripped to this series and the characters feel like family. Especially in this book, I cried along with them. Also knowing that this series has to end, I really do not want to say goodbye. The characters are so well written and the story just flows, this book in particular dives straight into the action packed storyline.

This is a series that I would highly recommend to anyone, action packed, full of drama, sexy alpha men, strong women, the mafia, it truly has it all. A Passionate Page Turner at its best!

I love the Fallen Angel Series and I have to confess that when I read the third part and it was supposed to be the last one, I was quite sad. I just felt like there is more to everyone stories and I am so glad that Tracie Podger decide to give us one more book in the series :) Similarly to the previous books, the action and danger are on high speed, mixed with pain, heartbreak and to lighten the mood some sexy fun and humour :) Although, what else can you expect from Robert and co ;)

Robert is his normal brooding, sexy dominant self, but in this book I was able to finally really see also his dark side. To see what he is capable of doing to protect his family and the people he loves. I got a glimpse of that side of him in his novella, Robert, but this is the first time I was able to see it through Brooke's eyes. And I have to say, it only made me love him more. He is definitely bad ass and yes, kind of scary but at the same time, I am pretty sure that if it was me he was protecting, I would just feel safe. If you are the one crossing him, though, that would be probably the last thing you will do. And it will be quite painful.

I also saw a different side of Brooke. Even though, she's always been strong, no matter of the heartbreak, pain and danger she's been through, here I was also able to see the softer, motherly side of her. That's not to mean that she is not strong. She is, but she is also vulnerable and the one person who helps her feel safe and strong again is the love of her life, Robert. Even if it takes time for her to really realise it.

In addition to Brooke and Robert's story, I loved reading about Travis on the background and how his life turned up. I am not going to reveal what happens with him but what I can say is that it was definitely quite unexpected. Even if I waited for that since I read the first book in the series. In addition to that, there is some more of Sam and Scott that only adds some fun to the story. There are also some secrets revealed that will quite shock you, so be prepared :)

If I have to summarise, I would just say that this is a must read book with a suspenseful story that will keep you on your toes most of the time. And to add to the already great story, you have the incredible romantic story between Robert and Brooke, and of course their friends and family :) So hurry up and pick yourself a copy :)

Wow I'm in utter shock and tears for the end of this book i love Robert and Brookes story they will always have a place deep in my heart forever.
For us to here more about there relationship with their son Gerry, was amazing.
Travis and Harley and finally Evelyn the mother to all of them and grandmother to the boy's.
we see things taking a twisted in this story and people trying to pull The Stone family apart, Having to rely on higher family.
To get end to the sitituation and not to cause a smelt down.
We here a lot of revelations and new surprising history that both Robert and Brooke didn't know which brings them closer than ever, will they get there happy ever after.

What can I say? Tracie Podger has done it again! What an amazing end to an amazing series. Secrets are revealed that I never saw coming, shocking revelations that had me almost breaking out in tears.

The story starts and is almost instantly met with insane drama and death that you're like what the hell? what's the rest of the book going to be like if it's all happening now. But this is about the story, about Robert finding himself and Brooke standing at his side dutifully.

I'm happy for Travis, fucking hell I never saw that coming, though I felt his part was rushed. I'm super ecstatic for Evelyn too!

Through this whole book I was saying, just one more chapter and I'll sleep....2am and I finally, reluctantly, put the book down.

Amazed, shocked and over the moon is how this book made me feel.

I can't wait for more books from this author; she's has amazing potential to go on to write other fantastic books

Breathtaking, heart-stopping, wham bam thank you ma'am! An altogether outstanding end to the amazing Fallen Angel series. From the explosive beginning through to the jaw dropping end, this book grabs hold of your attention and never lets go. All of your favourites are back - Robert, Brooke, Travis, Evelyn and they're joined by the next generation, which absolutely delighted me.
This author writes so passionately and her obvious love for her characters radiates off the pages and into your heart so you share her love for them. I felt every emotion going reading this book and my face still aches from the many expressions I'm sure I made along the journey. And what a journey it was! I'm sorry to see the last of these friends but they will stay in my heart forever.
Tracie, you're a literary queen.

Oh how I have fallen so hard for this story from the very first book, I have been addicted to Robert and Brooke's fast paced, loving and dangerous life style. Have you read Fallen Angel Part One? No, Oh My God! Don't delay start downloading. If you have read and have been waiting to read Part four, eeeek!! READ NOW! You will not believe your eyes.

When we hear the word Mafia, you instantly think danger and Robert can be dangerous when it concerns his family. He has a monster that lives inside him just waiting to unleash it's wrath on anyone who dares to hurt the people he loves, it's so freaking scary at times. Yet he's the most passionate and caring man, he has a side to him that not many will see. Brooke experiences all sides of Robert in this book and Oh Boy! is she in for some shockers.

Brooke went to New York on a holiday wanting to spend time with her best friend, Sam. Hmm! five years later she is still in New York LOL!! One word, MEN! Well honestly I wouldn't leave Robert neither. He is strikingly handsome times ten. She has settled in nicely with all the family and has many friends, life has been quiet for a while until the unthinkable happens, her worst nightmares become reality.

This book was intense, I couldn't even breathe while reading a very hard scene and the gasping. My God I was so into this book nothing else existed around me, so many surprises in store, everything ties in and I mean everything. It's a small world we live in and Brooke is about to find out just how small.

Lives are changed forever, some good, some not even breathing, they probably went straight to hell to be honest. Only one went to heaven it was a sad moment but that wasn't even the saddest part. Oh be Jesus you need to read.

If I could rate this book more than five stars, I certainly would and if the Author thinks I am not going to bug her for more, she's very wrong. I can not let this go. I know that there can be so much more from these characters and I really want MORE!!

Tracie Podger THANK YOU for bringing Robert into my life. I have loved every moment taking this epic but dangerous journey with THE FAMILY. Please don't stop writing about them.

5 Stars!!!

I was given this book in turn for an honest review.

Brooke Stone and her family have been living a peaceful life the last few years; only trouble was round the corner and about to test their family’s strength. Are they strong enough to survive?

Fallen Angel Part 4 is in one word, EPIC! Totally, utterly and absolutely AMAZING! This concluding part to Brooke and Robert's story is a whirlwind of emotional turmoil; their lives are taking a turn and it's going to change their whole family's lives FOREVER!

Tracie Podger has excelled with this story, there isn't a dull moment. The twists and turns to this story answer many of the questions the previous books have left us with. There are revaluations that are going to truly shock you. There isn't one thing about this book that I disliked.

Parenthood has changed both Brooke and Robert in many ways, without a doubt Gerry is and always will be their number one priority. As a couple they have also grown, Brooke has taken on the role of a Mafia wife well, learning to let Robert deal with their family affairs without as many questions; after all she has to ask a little otherwise we the reader would know nothing.

As a Mafia family they have all grown to be very close and are always by the others side without question; being the support that each other needs. I absolutely love this family and they will always hold a special place in my heart, Tracie truly brought this family alive for me and I feel like I'm also in some way apart of their family.

This book had me in tears a few times; the passion and heartache was real, you can feel each and every emotion right along with them.

Although I'm going to miss this family, Tracie Podger has written a perfect finale for them, one that will leave your heart bursting with love and happiness and your imagination running wild as to how they live the rest of their lives.

If you love Mafia romances with passion, erotica, suspense and action, you will absolutely love the Fallen Angel series by Tracie Podger!

This book was just amazing packed full of excitement from start to finish. This is the last book in this amazing series. We jump straight into action when Robert is hit where it hurts him most….family. An explosion at a hotel where Robert,Brooke family and friends have gathered rocks him to the core, but it’s a further event that hits even closer to him and Brooke that sets off a chain of events that will change their lives forever, break them or make them stronger than ever.Robert hell bent on extracting his brand of revenge exposes a side to himself that he never wanted her to see,can she live with what she sees and what she knows? Will it alter her unwavering love for Robert? The gang are back Travis is somewhat changed after all he endured but still at Roberts side will ever find a love like Robert and Brooke share?Evelyn with her devotion to taking care of them all, friends and family weve grown to know and love over the course of 4 fantastic books.
I don’t want to say to much as it would spoil it for people who have yet to experience Robert Stone and the Mafia world he lives and breathes, hes strong, totally alpha, sexy as hell and will stop at nothing to protect those he loves his word is absolute and woe betide anyone who gets on the wrong side of him.Brooke and Robert have a sexy passionate loving marriage and we have lots of those moments in book four, but we also get to see Robert as a family man something he never thought he’d be.This book was such an emotional read in places I laughed,I cried, got hot and bothered you name it I experienced it reading this book!!There were a few twists and turns that I definitely didn’t see coming Tracie did a fantastic job of ripping my heart out and putting it back together. As we come full circle with Robert and Brookes story it has had me captivated and hooked from book one im sad to see the series end Robert Stone will always be my number 1 book boyfriend, but im looking forward to whatTracie has in store for us in the future.

I don't even know where to begin with this review. I love this series, for me it will be one of those I can go back to, time and time again and re-read without getting bored. It will always be a all time favourite series of mine.
This book just like the rest in the series was fantastic. We are back to Robert and Brooke's life, about 5 years after part 3 finishes I think. They are still this amazing couple.
The story had me laughing, crying, shouting, just a whole roller coaster of emotions. At one point near the end of the book I actually shouted "OMG" because I just couldn't believe what had happened. There were parts in the story that I just didn't see coming and they were totally unpredictable.
Robert, what can I say about this man? I want to be Brooke, I want to be their for him when he needs me, I want to hold him, love him and protect him. He is an amazing character. I just can't think of the right words to describe him.
Brooke is my all time favourite female character, she has been through a lot while with Robert but has always stuck by him. She is one strong character.
I feel like crying now writing this review, knowing their will be no more to Robert and Brooke's story. I'm going to miss them, their lives, and their amazing story!!
This series will forever be in my heart.
Tracie you have wrote the most perfect ending to what has been the most perfect series ever!
I will be stalking you to see what else you will be writing!! <3
5 stars does not do this book justice, it needs at least 10 :)

When the dangerous Robert Stone has his family threatened he will stop at nothing, and he means nothing to protect them. We return back to Brooke and Robert Stone in Fallen Angel 4. I love this series. Robert is dangerous, brooding and very much a alpha male. In book four his family are in danger and his sense of protection goes in to over drive, evening to threaten his relationship between him and Brooke. He will use any means to protect Brooke and their son Gerry. Including contacting Italy, the mother country, and a surprise return of a handsome charismatic character. I can't say who but it was a "omg it's. ..." moment. I love this series and sad that this is the last in the series. It was nice to finally see them all happy. Including my favourite, Travis, who finally gets a love of his life. (even if its not me )
Being a huge fan of Tracie Podger ' s work I knew this last instalment would be good. I did wipe a little tear at the end when Brooke returned home after her mother died. To finally find out who Robert was and where he came from was great closure to the series.
If you want strong alpha Italian males. Hot deep love between a strong couple. Outstanding characters. A story that wisks you along at a fast pace. Then the Fallen Angel series is for you. It's not paranormal in any way, the only actual angel is a tattoo and a stain glass windows in a church.
This is a five star read - and can't wait to read Tracie's next work in progress.

5 sexy mafia stars!!! I love this series so so so much!! I’m so sad it’s over, but man what a ride!!

I love The Fallen series so much!! I’m a sucker for a great mafia book and this series has all the elements to make it great!! This book takes you on an emotional roller coaster and it broke me!! I’m so sad this series is over, but I loved how it ended. I won’t be posting more, so I don’t ruin it for those who haven’t read it, but I will say Robert and Travis are still sexy as ever!!!

I gave this epic conclusion the five stars this story deserves.

In my opinion this has been the best one of the series so far!It literally started with a bang and the action packed drama from the beginning kept me gripped until the very end.

Tracie has this uncanny ability to make her reader feel every emotion with the characters! I laughed, cried and everything in between as i read this epic conclusion to Brooke and Robert's
story.
Another brilliantly written story that i absolutely enjoyed reading every word of!!

Unfortunately this story has left me wanting more and I am desperately hoping that this isn't the last we will see of Robert, Brooke and all of the other characters we have come to love in this series!

I am still in withdrawal from this AMAZING book and series.

Tracie Podger has blown me away!!!

Robert and Brooke are faced with a betrayal from within their family and it threatens everything that they have. It added an interesting dynamic to their relationship which, although heartbreaking to read, was essential to prove just how even the most passionate and strong relationships, all face a crossroad at some point.

I was literally gasping at the plot twists. You literally did not see it coming. However, the author ended this series perfectly by answering questions that we had from the entire series.

This is one of my favourite series EVER and I highly recommend it!

I have been lucky to receive and advance copy of this book and could not wait to read this and OMG what a book. I have loved Brooke and Roberts story and am sad this is the last one. The book was a roller coaster with surprises I did not see coming. It had me laughing and then crying. I read this in just over a day as I could not put it down, when you read this make sure you have nothing on as you just won't want to put it out it down. It's a must read from me though make sure you read all the others in the series and the individual stories before it will enhance the story for you.

More like 3.75 stars but oh well.
A good conclusion (or is it?) to a good-ish series, I didn't read the third one because the second book was a disappointment but this installment is actually quite good and entertaining, action packed for sure.

This author and series are not going to be on my favorite list any time soon but it was not bad either.

This book, the fourth in this series from Ms. Podger, is a vast improvement over the first three. The typos are fewer, the sentences structured a bit better. Although the use of British phrases by Americans is still in use, I think I've become numb to it. I don't like it, because it changes the reading of the book, but I can live with it (although I'm deducting a star for it, since it was not necessary - any good editor would have caught all those instances).

I am loving this series about Brooke and Robert and their love. I enjoy the secondary characters, and find it to be a well plotted book with a solid arc. While I dislike the violence, it fits the story perfectly and I would only warn readers about it so they can choose to skip over it when they find it in the books.

This series is definitely of the "steamy" variety. Robert and Brooke are sizzling together. The story that is taking place in Books 1 through 6, is fabulous and I'm looking forward to Books 5 and 6 now.

Wow..... I'm speechless literally with emotion. Have you ever read a book then needed to reread a part and gasp and think .... did I really just read that?

Throw that into the story quite a few times and a can of worms (yes I'm not ruining this for anyone) this is an everything book in this series. With the powerful storyline and twists and turns you really do not know what to expect next.

Fallen Angel Part 4 comes back into Robert and Brooke Stones' story around 5 years after we last met them in part 3, having enjoyed a fantastic drama free few years, but as we know things tend to catch up with you especially when Robert is involved.

With a rollercoaster journey in this book for sure, Can Robert protect all who he cares for aswell as keep his own heart intact?

This book is by far the best in the series. Brooke and Robert reach a crossroads when Abduction and murder test their relationship to the limit. Robert finds out who he is with a shocking revelation for them both. This book was intense, suspenseful and rewarding.

WOW! From the moment this book starts to the moment it ends you are left on the edge of your seat. This has been the best book out of the four and I wish it could go on. It would be interesting to see what Robert does now that he knows who is REAL father was.

This book ties everything up nicely. From bombs, guns, kidnapping...it has it all.

Brooke and Robert are a couple that everyone will come to love as they read these books. I am not a mafia genre fan, but this is one of the best series that I have read.

One complaint I have...let there be more on Brooke and Robert.

I always gauge a book versus these stars if I couldn't put the book down and wanted more when I finished the book. This story fits both of the criteria mentioned. It is a follow on from the previous books and is 5 years on since Robert and Brooke met. Life is good and settled with Gerry in their lives until a birthday party goes very wrong and chaos resumes. Can Brooke continue with this lifestyle? Intense, mysterious, exciting and loving story take you from the US, Italy and London. It's a great finale and I wished there was more. Well written and easy flowing book. Well done!

A few years down the road and Brooke & Robert have been living their lives as lovers and parents. All is well until Roberts past comes along and threatens his family. Robert is very much the alpha male in this and when the worst possible thing happens, he calls on someone who is thought to be dead who has the power to eliminate the threat for good.

Lots of twists, turns and secrets that have the potential to cause major upset in this. The best of the series and what a way to sign off!

I have read this compleet series in only 3 days. Tracie Podger is a great writer and the books contain lots of emotions and a lot off twists you never see coming. I'm even a bit sad that whit this book the story really ends, I would have liked to have read more about Brooke her parents (I really thought she was adopted).

Powerful, emotional and often tense and suspenseful read. Gripping and well written, with a pace that is mostly steady but increases to fast at certain points. I actually need to go back to the beginning because I thought I'd read more of this series and I'd only read one before this. Brooke is strong, loving and supportive of Robert and her son, but when life throws curve balls at you it can test that strength. Robert would do anything to protect his family, they are his life and love. There are many twists and turns in this book, it keeps the reader on edge and really expecting the unexpected. Secrets are uncovered and lives are changed as a result, there is some violence and steamy sexual content, lots of love and it's very emotional at times in various forms. This is a plot that gives to the reader from start to finish, the author did a fabulous job of weaving and twisting this altogether. I will definitely be going back and reading those in between that I missed and then reading the rest of the series. Loved it and all its elements.
