I had a lot of fun working my way through this book, drawing each tiny thing. Some of them are a bit open ended - with prompts like "a slight tremor" - and others were more concrete - like "a wonton". The more concrete ones were, obviously, a little easier.

I chose to draw them into a separate notebook, but there is space in the book itself for people to make their drawings. As I went through, I actually found a couple pages where I had done that back in 2016 (when I had first gotten the book).

If you're the sort of person who likes doodling and is looking for some ideas of what to doodle, I recommend this book.

This book is a bit out of my comfort zone. I bought it on impulse because I wanted to get back into drawing, something that I was really interested in when I was younger. The random things it'll tell you to draw are more difficult than not but I still love the challenge. I try to draw something every few days just to keep my fascination fresh. I'm sure it'll take forever for me to finish.

Can you list 642 tiny things? Exactly why I read it. "Draw teeny-tiny things in this teeny-tiny book" are the instructions with varying spaces provided. The items range from simple things like "a pretzel" to the poetic "small hours of the night." The first page "cupcake sprinkles" is why I purchased the book as an activity for grandchildren. However, as a writing prompt book, this has many possibilities.
Note: another book in the series is 642 Things to Write About. Fun.
