The only experience I have with the character of Elektra is the movie made in the early 2000's and I don't really remember the portrayal leaving much of an impressive. After this issue, I can see that Elektra will definitely make for a compelling sorta kinda anti hero and I enjoyed getting a little insight into her background and what drives her mindset. I did not like her though. I feel she's entitled and a bit off her rocker. That's not a good combo.

The perfect middle issue. Even better than I remember. Great progression for Matt, an amazing proper introduction to Elektra and why she fit Matt at this time in his life, the foreshadowing to her return and the war she’s part of, and an absolutely awesome setup for the Kingpin. Also really fun to see Matt and Foggy at university.
