I do not know that there is any book that can help anyone understand statistics. I do like the review cards that came with it, and also the tables and such. Statistics is not an easy course and I could say that I understand some aspects better now than I did five weeks ago. Unfortunately, it sounds as though those that created statistics intentionally have made trying to comprehend and understand what is wanted far more complicated than it has to be. Constant name changes for the same thing, simply because the formula is something different. Craziness.
