I read this after an Aydra Richards book (The Scandal of the Season) and the plot was rather similar. This book was a little too condensed and I was not feeling much chemistry between the MC’s. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t moving. Overall it wasn’t very memorable for me and I just finished it a few days ago. 3/5 stars.

Excellent book, grabbed my attention, only problem was I felt it was too short could have been a bigger novel, and it was heading that way and suddenly it just stopped.

I enjoyed this book very much. The characters, were realistic while the story was somewhat fanciful. However isn't that what romance novels are supposed to be!!

Caston and Arabella. Sweet, hot novella. He has pined for her for 5 years - lots of obstacles - death in family, mourning period etc. he devises a way to win her at cards from her impoverished father.
