Ava Claire is a sucker for Alpha males and happily ever afters. When not putting pen to paper or glued to her Kindle, Ava likes road tripping, karaoke, and vintage fashion.
I loved Jacob and Leila's story the first time in His Submissive Series. I enjoyed hearing the first part in Jacobs point of view and can't wait for me. This is a must read series.
A good read to balance out a sad day. It wasn't bad, minus the annoying stuttering character design. I was more fond of the occasional good line rather than the plot or semi-lack thereof.
Notes/fav lines: - I hate my father. (strong first words to start with but relatable enough) - eyes rounding with surprise, terror going down like a rock when she swallowed - I wanted to bask in it. I wanted to know her. I wanted to fuck her. - There was a very thin line between endearingly nervous and weak. - “Are you afraid?” I expected silence, maybe a replay of that lip biting nervousness, but she answered immediately. “No.” - I couldn't help but laugh. We'd only just met, but the similarities between us were startling. Both knowing what we wanted, what we needed; both holding onto fear. Choosing apprehension instead of the thing we clearly desired. - It wasn’t the grating defiance of bratty submissives I'd played with; mouthing off because they wanted to be spanked. She mouthed off because she wanted to be respected. - I don't like to repeat myself
Smut: - I hadn’t touched her or told her my dark needs and already I craved her. - My fingers shot to her waist, need electrifying my fingertips. - "You're going to submit to me because you're curious about what it would be like to give everything over to someone else. You're going to do what I say because secretly, you wonder what it's like to be on your knees." - She twitched against my touch, trying to nonverbally demonstrate what she needed. It was cute, but futile. I knew what she needed, and I would give it to her when she needed it, and not a minute before. "Stay still," I commanded. - I reached for her, my palm against her hand. I expected her to shy from my touch, but instead, she lifted her fingers. I didn't hold hands, but I found myself interlacing my fingers with hers.
No puedo dar una reseña descente porque es el primer libro de esta saga que leo y no tengo mucho contexto, pero estuvo muy bien y me gusto el desarrollo de la historia

The Interview is a re-telling of The Billionaire's Contract (His Submissive: Part One) from Jacob Whitmore's POV.
I love reading stories from both sides. Seeing things through different POVs give you more insight into the situation and dynamics as a whole. I think it's great. Experiencing life from Jacob's POV was awesome!! His sexy, "take no prisoners" attitude and strong alpha confidence is fabulous. I enjoyed seeing the way he reacts to Leila and how she effects him. He's such a controlled man, that was before Leila entered his life.
The Interview is another addition to a sexy story. Great read.
This is Jacob's POV and wow what can I say about this book that will do it justice. When I first opened this book I thought I read this before and I did but never from Jacob's POV author Ava Claire gives us insight to Jacob's thoughts and desires from her The Billionaire's Contact (His Submissive Part 1) and wow the hotness, the desire, the heart is all here. You have to pick up this read to understand that the desire was not just one sided but equal and Jacob gives us more than that.
If your a fan of 50 Shades of Grey get ready Jacob and Leila will have you just as hot and yearning and this author delivers a great, amazing and sensual read with D/S too.
Review for THE INTERVIEW I received this as a gift for an honest review This is the pivotal first offering of the series HIS SUBMISSIVE. This is the first meeting between Jacob Whitmore and Leila Montgomery. Jacob is a billionaire CEO…Leila a new grad interviewing for a job at his company. I say pivotal because this is the start of what will be an amazing journey of discovery, revelation and emotions. Leila is everything he wants and fears…someone who can be all he will ever need and that terrifies him. Jacob is everything she desires and she knows if she lets him in he will probably break her. Read this…..if you feel you can handle the rollercoaster of emotions that will take to you the brink…and beyond.
What an amazing read... I love this couple so it was awesome to know what Jacob was thinking in the beginning.
If you're just reading this book now and wondering about this couple, go ahead and read the, "His Submissive" series to learn about this couple and where they began... From there read the, "Billionaires Wife" series then the. "The billionaire Dom" series. Reading order could also be, book 1; "The Billionaires contract" then this short story followed by books 2-4, then 4.5, then 5-12. You will absolutely adore this couple. Trust me when I say, you will laugh, cry, get mad but most of all feel the love and the growth this couple endures.
Kudos to, Ava yet again. Girl, like fine wine you get better with age! :)

I have read all of The Billionaire's Contract and was really hoping that Ava would put out this book. In this book we finally see how Jacob and Leila meet and start out their time together. It is a short story so I will not give anything away in this review. It is all from Jacob's POV, which really gives us insight as to how he really feels about Leila, even in the beginning.
This book is amazing I would recommend to anyone whether or not you have read The Billionaire Series. If you have not this is a great way to start them. If you have this will give you a chance to visit some characters you enjoyed in the past.

I’m so glad that Ava has written more about Jacob and Leila—even if the story is only a retelling of the first of Part 1 of her “His Submissive” series from Jacob’s point of view. I absolutely love Jacob, so as far as I’m concerned, Ava can’t write enough about him. Also, I love hearing things from the master’s point of view in a story. I love to hear of the power the submissive truly holds in a relationship, and this story doesn’t disappoint in that area.
Anyone who enjoyed Ava’s “His Submissive” series will love The Interview. It’s a quick 39 page read, and hits all the right buttons.
Oh my! This is Jacob's POV from the Billionaire's Contract part one. The original is Leila and it was good, but this is great! I love reading Jacob's version of events and being in his mind. The hotness, desire, and oh so sexy! I have always liked Jacob and Leila and really enjoy any books Ava Claire gives us about them. I highly recommend reading this short and ultimately the book!

I was gifted a copy of the book by the author for the express purpose of an honest review. The rating and review are solely my opinion and in no way was I compensated.
I love everything Jacob and Leila! Listening to his descriptions of his intense feelings towards Leila, of whom he just met, is thrilling. I know I said listening when I actually read it but I've been into and loved this couple so much that it feels like I'm actually listening to him speak. This is the mark of a truly great author! Thank you Ava Claire. You captivate me with each story I read and I can't wait for more.

The Interview is the retelling of the Billionaire's Contract (His Submissive, Part 1) from Jacob's POV. It starts from when Jacob first met Leila and what was really going on in his head at the time. Reading the story from his POV made it seem sexier. Jacob was just Hot and Bold. Leila didn't know what hit her. I found myself reading the story again through new eyes. Great Job Ava, I'm already looking forward to the next book.

I must say I'm so in love with these characters that I could read about them till the end of time. Reading about the emotion and instant attraction from Jacob's POV was different and very sexy. He was so direct and firm I was excited to see his softener sexy side. Jacob and Leila are so good together and awesome to read about.
Love Jacob's viewpoint. This is a great re-do of the first meeting and interview between Jacob and Leila. There is so much going on in his head and it's fun to finally understand what he's thinking and his motivations. Short, quick, sexy … a great nugget to digest when time is short but you need some intense passion.
As far as support books go this one was great...we got to see the beginning from Jacob's POV. Which for me I loved because he was always so hard to get a read on in this series. My only issue was that I wanted a little more...BUT I was happy with what I got.
I would like to see Jacob's side during the whole Rachel issue...to see what he had going through his mind during that...
I loved reading Jacob's POV of their first meeting, it was so fun reading what he thought of her. The sex was so hot and their connection was undeniable. I love all of the books Ava has written about this couple, if you want to read where this couple goes from here read The Billionaire's Contract (His Submissive:Part One) and all of the books after, you will love them.

It's good to know that men are also prone to bouts of confusion or uncertainty or akwardness or whatever it is that women go through in a relationship. Jacob's POV sheds some light on how he reacted to Leila during the start of their relationship...
