Though I know I won't become famous and not many people will ever read my books, I enjoy the plots, characters, and adventures coming to life inside my mind and never dared to imagine how they would grow and change. In fact, they usually take over the story even when I think I know where it's headed. I find the process to be an amazing, wild ride and I just hang on tight until the end.

Update: April 2024- Since my oldest son passed away a few years ago I've really found it difficult to sit down and write for long periods of time. I suppose grief has a way of changing us.

Thanks to those who follow me. No promises on any updates since my current work position and making a living take precedent for now.

Good luck and God Speed on your journeys - both real or in a book.

I was provided this e-book in exchange for an honest review. Aria’s Song: Guardians I by R. Beach.
Imagine a world where enhanced and gifted humans work alongside genetically modified animals to keep this country safe. Where the actions of one man could take down powerful people and crumble the foundations of the US. The Guardians are a group of specially trained, experienced and skilled individuals who risk their lives every day to keep you safe.
Having been deployed to rescue a detained and tortured agent, Taylor and Thorne encounter a whole lot more than they bargained for. Finding the agent, Aria Wind, on deaths door Taylor falls completely and totally in love with her. This paranormal romance will leave you breathless and wanting more.
R. Beach has created a detail rich story with as many different characters as you can imagine. From the beautiful Aria, the handsome Taylor and Travis, to the truly evil Reghart and his malicious organization – every reader will find someone they can relate too. Aria’s Song has action, mystery and a fare bit of violence. Warning is needed- Not for readers under the age of 18…
Now for the downside. I personally couldn’t fully lose myself in this tale. I felt that some parts were too long and others too short. I did a good deal of skimming. I pains me to say this because this book and author has so much potential. Now… this is the first in the series, so Travis' Triumph: Guardians II may be twenty times better – you just never know, but the best way to find out… Go pick it up!

This is the first book I wrote and came about unexpectedly. Not that anyone reads these but they certainly were a revelation to write as the story just happened inside my head and flowed onto the computer display so easily. Aria and Taylor are unique and developed with such drama but ease that I didn't want to stop writing their story. I know this story needs to be edited and much of the extra information removed but this was my book and without an editor, I've published it the way it originally was written. If you do find your way to reading my books I hope you get great enjoyment, adventure, and even possibly a life lesson or two.
