Although central idea of the story was good, it was destroyed due to the fact that the main character himself was interested in femdom scenario. Hence, the story completely failed to build tension with the act of forcing him into such lifestyle. In my eyes it's a big opportunity lost.

A little vague on the intimate details of erotica portions, but an excellent Femdom & Gynarchy story kept hidden from vanilla friends and family, but very obvious at home and office. I enjoyed it enough that I almost panicked when I was getting near the ending and realized the series continues and that I didn't have access to the next book. But the end was gentle and didn't leave me at a cliff.

Nicholas Paige has fantasies. He is dating an accountant named Jessica who is very nice, but she doesn't wear the clothes that are part of his fantasy life. She is working for a CPA firm and he has just graduated from a very good law school and has applied to a number of law firms in Philadelphia, but he has lots of student debt and these law firms are offering low amounts for starting associates. He has yet to take the Bar Exam which is hard but, as he edited the law review for his school and because he's bright, he thinks that he should get a premium salary.

Jessica tells him he needs to make a decision about what firm to accept and she's fishing for a commitment from him that would be more than just dating. While he mulls the low offers from the other firms, he gets a call from the law firm of Doney and Williams.

Mistress Benay sets this novel up beautifully, Everything looks like it would read like "A Pelican Brief" except, of course, the title of the book. Her description of Doney and Williams' attorneys, being almost all women and all attired to match Nicolas' fantasies for the sexy office woman and his reaction to their attire draw you in to this page-turner.

When Nicolas accepts a higher salary offer from Doney and Williams, suddenly, Jessica, his girlfriend, wants to change her usual attire because she is familiar with how the women at Doney and Williams dress, "so that he won't be tempted elsewhere." But Nicolas has issues with his fantasies that result in him entering into the firm's Corrective Behavior Program. He is threatened with his livelihood and ability to practice law or ever be hired again by any decent law firm unless he complies and compliance comes at a high price.

He is locked into a metal chastity device with the key held by Jennifer Webster, one of the firm's partners and his "trainer." He is also required to spend more time daily studying for the upcoming Bar Exam, with punishment meted out by Marsha Weiss, the Training Director for any incorrect answers at a daily meeting. Punishment takes place in her office, and is performed with a stiff paddling with one stroke for each wrong answer.

This puts him in a real bind because, now he has to face Jessica, his girlfriend, with a chastity device locked on.

As the first book of a series, this one is a great set-up, but it satisfied very well, offering a full and complex back-story for many of the main characters. Fetishes involved include shoe and boot worship, oral servitude, hard paddling, mild CBT, chastity and teasing and denial, humiliation, some mild bondage, blackmail and some clothing fetish.

From the very first page this highly erotic femdom novel (248 pages!) reminded me of John Grisham’s blockbuster, The Firm. In both stories, a highly recruited male law graduate is hired by a prestigious big-city law firm (Grisham’s in Memphis, this one in Philly), dazzled by the starting salary and associated perks, only to find out, too late, that those corner offices and conference suites harbor hidden secrets.

In Grisham’s tale, the secret is that the young associates will actually be working for the Mafia. In Mistress Benay’s Femdom Law Firm, the managing partners and most of the younger partners and associates are young women of the dominant persuasion, super-smart and drop-dead gorgeous; and the unsuspecting and ambitious young male associates are being ushered into a program that will lead to their submission, locked chastity, discipline and ultimate subjugation.

Mistress Benay is a gifted tale-teller, whose considerable expertise is on display here not only in matters relating to female domination (she’s a practitioner), but in the convincing story setting of a big-city law firm. Is the author herself a lawyer? I would not be surprised to learn that she is, because she writes with authority on matters relating to bar exam study, trial preparation, brief writing, legal research, etc.

Mistress Benay’s book is not only exciting and thrilling (ala Grisham), but sizzling hot, chapter by chapter. The hero, Nicholas, eager to succeed and to please his beautiful superiors, finds himself becoming eventually the obedient sex toy of an entire office full of powerful, sexy and ruthless women, all bent on taking him deeper and deeper into submission.

Confession: I envied him his fate! And this is only Part One! There are two sequels!

This was a great story of a femdom organization and how it introduced a new employee to femdom. The story is told from the perspective of a male protagonist who is hired by a law firm that only has female partners and most of the associates are also female except for a few token male associates. The newly hired male associates don't know what they are in for.

Imagine "the Firm," except as a femdom story instead of a criminal underworld story.
