Even though this guide is 2 years old I like to use them to get an idea of what I am dealing with when I travel. As I am about to visit 7 islands I thought this would be a great guide to get insight into where I am going. It certainly met all my expectations and now I can research with more up to date information. I always use guides as a starting point and this was a great one to start with :)
Pro: Well written and informative. Information is easy to find. Con: large, heavy book that I didn't need to read most of. Advice: do what I did - get book from library and photocopy pages that pertain to the islands I was visiting. I read several other guidebooks and found this one the most useful, much better than Lonely Planet Guide.
