He attended middle and high school at Robert College in Istanbul. He completed his university education in the USA where he earned his BA in Business Administration and Psychology at Lehigh University. Serdar Özkan has been a full-time novelist since 2002, dedicated to writing novels that unravel the deeper meaning of life's journey.

Basit fakat tatlı bir hikayesi olan iki insan. Kayıp Gül'e kıyasla daha mini-hikaye tarzında fakat yine de keyifli.

Tanrının sevgisine ulaşmak ve onu daha iyi anlayabilmek için bu dünyadaki ruh eşini bulması gerektiğine inan bir genç adam, tren istasyonunda kısa süre gördüğü bir genç bayanın ruh eşi olduğuna inanır ve ona yazdığı kitabın kendi nüshasını verir. Bu başlangıçtan sonra kitap bu iki karakterin dilinden onalrın yaşadıkları ve düşünceleri ile onların birleşmelerini anlatıyor. İsmini çok sevdiğim kitabı kısa sürese bitirdim ve sevdim. Fakat kitap bana göre biraz basit ve Kayıp Gül'ün gölgesinde kalmış.
