When city girl Sarah finds herself attacked by something she is not even sure is human she has no idea that she is about to uncover one of New York City's darkest secrets.
The big city is constantly under threat from rogue shifters and it is dragon brothers Gavin and Dylan's responsibility to protect it.
However, when they both save her from this attack they both realize there is something about her that there is something extra special about Sarah.
I think the story is good but the execution was not. It was kinda boring for one thing I was skimming pages. I've read a lot of these types of books with dragons and sharing etc. This just seemed like a poor try at it and nothing really stood out about it. Also, I had a big problem with the lack of fire and passion between these 3 people. I mean there was no connection at all. There was a smidge of attraction on Sarah's part but otherwise from these males I wasn't feeling anything from them. No feelings not even caring I mean they liked her yes but otherwise that's about it. I dont think that was this authors intention but for me thats how it came across. Maybe they weren't quite as developed as they should have been. They didn't even talk about their arrangement because honestly that is what it seemed to be. An arrangement without feelings...kinda left me feeling cold about it.
Bonnie Burrows is fast becoming a favorite author of mine.
Gavin and Dylan, dragon shifters, protectors of the Big City from rogue shifters have a surprise. When they battle to end another rogue they have to revise their tactics to save a human from being collateral damage—but this human is different. Sarah is shocked but as a nurse sees her patient, an injured dragon??--is the priority. She can have her breakdown later.
While keeping her safe, the guys come to feel much for her but can she accept their world?
A must read for lovers of books with a stream of emotions and ACTION, steam. While this is a short read it is not short on anything and a keeper for sure.
Dragons, Rogues and now Hybrids With as many Dragon shifter stories out there it’s still amazes me when a new concept comes to plat. Dragons that can make a bubble of time stop around a city to protect and catch the rouges. But humans cannot evade the bubble getting stuck in the seal and frozen. But this one female isn’t frozen and the rogue their after is after her because of it. What makes her special? Well written and fun story to read.
I liked this story. Dragons are fun. It is a quick read and I would have liked the story to cover a little more background. I will have to figure out if there is a book prior to this one or perhaps another in a series. Worth checking out the sample to see if it's for you.
2 Dragons Meet and Protect a Half breed Female Dragon.
Typical story line about dragons protecting humanity. This one is a menagerie with dragons fighting dragons with humans none t g e sis err r. A couple erotic scenes and action.
So much about Sarah is special that I don't see why they somehow couldn't find a way for her to shift into her Dragon form. I would have loved to read about that. I enjoyed every bit of it.
The world building here is pretty skimpy. The romance is jerky and at times incredibly abrupt. Rather like a television episode, you lose interest as soon as the credits roll, you never really engage.
This was underdeveloped and lacked passion. I mean this girl gets saved by 2 dragons, gets taken in, and from friends they start having sex, just like that, no build up.
