Excellent tactical summary of American and British D-Day operations by the 82nd, 101st and 6th Para. Well researched with the operational details after first contact. Many pictures and maps provided to enhance understanding. Although published 40 + years ago, it remains a definitive work on the topic.

Incredibly detailed account of airborne operations in Normandy that provides detail down to the company level. A must-read for any Normandy buff.
