We've all been there, bad experiences in relationships leave us cautious and scared to take things further. Jacklynn has been burned by a cheating ex and she just wants to spend her summer letting lose and being wild. No commitments. That is until she has what's supposed to be a one night stand with Emmett and she finds she can't get him off her mind. It was a great story, very well written. It has some sexy scenes too. I loved it and would highly recommend it.

This is a fairly lightweight romance, and a nice quick read if that is what you are looking for. The love scenes are quite steamy and whilst the book is well written, with likeable characters, it was more like a novella.
The overall plot line was very good but wasn't as fully explored as it could have been. The characters were well thought through but again they weren't fully developed and whilst the book stirred some emotions I like a story that makes me really care.
This is an easy and enjoyable book to read, but there wasn't really anything about it that made it stand out - hence the rating.

Jacklynn Holmes is ready to start her summer vacation after a long school year of teaching. And who can blame her? She's fresh out of a long term relationship that should have ended a long time prior. A girl just needs to rest, unwind, and have some fun.
So that's just what she is doing when you she meets the sexy Emmett Woods. He's a tall drink of water that isn't looking for a relationship, just some fun. So why not have some fun together?
Boy, what a night that share! It's hot and sexy and everything you could ask for. But now that night is done, Emmett wants more than just the one night; he's had a taste of something and wants a taste of it more. Jacklynn however isn't so sure she's ready for more, she is after all, newly single. But Emmett can be very convincing, if Jacklynn is willing to let him.
I enjoyed this story and found myself wanting to be Jacklynn's friend or at least on the receiving end of Emmett's attentions. Lacey's ability to tell a riveting story of taking a chance on love is showcased in this story. You can't help but be drawn into this couple's journey. They laugh, you laugh. They cry, you cry. They get hot and bothered, you get hot and bothered.
This was a quick and enjoyable read for any fan of Carly Phillips' Dare to Love Kindle World Series and a great introduction to any new reader to this series.

Commit if you Dare is a story of two people who aren't looking for commitment, but find it when they least expect it. Jacklynn and Emmett meet in a bar and agree, honestly, to a one night stand. Almost immediately, they are both regretting making that decision.
What I liked about this book was that it is Emmett, not Jacklynn, who tries to change the rules for their "relationship". Typically, you find its the heroine who wants to change the rules, but not here. Emmett goes to some lengths to track Jacklynn down, running into her with her ex-boyfriend and going way too alpha for her liking. He also manages to track her down at home. It's almost as though he's not sure why he's doing what he's doing, but he can't help himself. And Jacklynn keeps trying to tell herself that it's just a fling and she's not getting in a relationship with him, and it's all for fun - but her heart betrays her in that regards.
I also love the suspense / scorned lover aspects of the story and didn't quite see some of those twists in the story coming.
In true "Dare to Love" fashion, the book is pretty steamy.

I was lucky enough to get an arc of this book one return for an honest review which is luck since I can't but it in the UK or I can't find it anywhere which is a shame cos I loved it. So first thank you for giving me the chance to read this book now onto my review.

I've been where Jacklynn's been most people have and I understand where she and Emmett are coming from we all need someone sometimes and when you're hurting you're not looking for Mr right just Mr right now except it doesn't always work out that way the heart can over rule the mind, but Jacklynn's cheating scum bag ex isn't ready to let go of her and Emmett has a flirty neighbour so these two don't have it all easy , was great to join this couple on their journey to get their hea and I enjoyed every minute of this tale with romance, intrigue thrown in and some hot scenes.

Jacklynn is looking to let loose for the summer. Meeting Emmett and she figures, letting loose with him would be a good thing. Maybe a one night stand. She isn't looking for another man in her life. She just got rid of the cheating one she had. Emmett doesn't want a strings attached relationship. He was burnt once. Hot sex and move on worked for him. As they heat of the sheets, feelings start to grow and as they realize they are connecting on a deeper level neither knows what to do.
Jacklynn and Emmett were both fantastic characters. The dialogue between them was great, they had that connection that brought them to life. it was a short story but the story flowed along and in the usually Lacey Wolfe fashion. You had some smoking hot sex scenes. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Commit If You Dare is a sexy, quick, romantic read. The attraction between Emmett and Jacklynn was instant. I know this is only a novella, but I would have loved for it to have been longer with more detailed character and story development. On the same token, for as short as it is, there was good development and the storyline flowed well. The chemistry didn’t seem forced and the intimate scenes were sexy and definitely steamy. Emmett and Jacklynn were just looking for a night of no-strings fun, but with an undeniable attraction and electric chemistry, they end up with much more. Throw in her cheating ex who wants her back and his irritating – I didn’t like or trust her from the start – neighbor, and your taken on a winding ride, hoping for their HEA.

Commit If you Dare is as sexy as it is appealing. Jacklynn is a good girl trying to be bad. Emmett is interested in exploring just how bad she can be. Emmett and Jacklynn's attraction was easy to see. I liked how they interacted with each other. I found nothing majorly wrong with the story it did what it needed to. My main issue was that the story seemed somewhat rushed and the characters were not as well established as I would have liked. For that reason I rated the story 3 1/2 stars. Commit If you Dare is an entertaining fantasy that can be relived again and again. I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

What she doesn’t expect is to enjoy Emmett’s charm, intelligence and so sexy body but she plans to stick to her summer plan. Emmett isn’t looking to commit, he’s sort of afraid of it but running into intelligent, sexy Jacklynn starts to derail his plans. Can these two commit phobic individuals push past their fears and open their hearts? I loved escaping with Jacklynn and Emmett. I was given a copy for an honest review.

Commit If You Dare is a quick yet sexy read that will peak your interests. The story itself is well written and the cover is absolutely fantastic. My only issue with this story was the length. I wish it was longer, but I know since it’s labeled as a novella, it’s supposed to be short and sweet. Had it been longer I would have had the chance to get to know the characters a lot better and feel their connection for each other grow. For a short read, Commit If You Dare is a good choice. It has the right amount of sexiness, mixed with drama and entertainment. A solid 3.5 stars.

Emmett is a journalist for the Miami Thunders and willing to show Jacklynn a good time for a night. What they didn't expect was the chemistry that they would have. Emmett decides he wants more. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Two people who just want to have no strings attached sex meet and have a one night stand. Then Emmitt decides that he doesn't want it to be a one night stand, but Jacklynn is not interested in anything more. Emmitt hunts her down and proceeds to try to convince her that they should spend more time together. Add in a cheater ex (hers) and a sexy neighbor ( his) and things get interesting. This is a quick read with lots of sex, and some drama. It is a good story that I enjoyed reading.

This is a Kindle Worlds novella as part of the Dare to Love series by Carly Phillips. Commit if You Dare is fast paced, easy to follow and Oh So Hot! Emmett and Jacklynn start a game of cat and mouse. Both not wanting to commit, yet their chemistry is undeniable.
Lacey Wolfe does a great job of weaving her characters and plot into the already established characters of the Dare to Love series. This is a quick, hot and steamy read. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Perfect short story
Yes the story is less than a 100 pages, but no detail or emotion was spared. Attraction, romance, intrigue and a twist on who doesn't want a relationship makes this story worth reading. Now I have a new series to start reading too!

How can story be cute, hot, sexy, adventurous and a little suspenseful? It has the right amount of everything in it.
Nice short story to read on a lazy, but humid as heck, Sunday.
My only cons: one typo and Jacklynn's eye color changed from green to blue. It's possible so biggies.

This was a good quick read! Jacklynn and Emmett meet unexpectedly and Jacklynn's whole summer changes.There were some surprises with Emmett's neighbor that really made you not like her. Emmett and Jacklynn were so good together!

Fun easy read!
These two characters were sweet and fun. I loved the easy nature of the story and the storyline of two people just not ready for a new relationship.
