[Siren Menage Erotic Cowboy Menage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, HEA]
Laci Sinclair came to Lusty at the urging of her best friend, Chloe Jessop. The last thing she needs is romance. So how did Trace and Lucas Benedict get under her skin so fast?
Trace and Lucas leave Montana to find a place of their own, with a stop to visit their cousins in Lusty. Once they meet Laci, they know their drifter days are over. Though leery of working with family again, they give their cousins the benefit of the doubt and decide pretty fast they like family, Lusty style. They hope to cure Laci's relationship reluctance with two men ten years her junior by offering to be her "friends with benefits." But they soon discover she's hiding something from them - and that something could end their love before it ever truly begins.
Meanwhile, Ricoh Stone knows it's time to find out about Angela Monroe's past, and he turns to a rodeo friend who now lives in Divine - Julian Alvarez. ** A Siren Erotic Romance
Marie's Tempting Reads Review: Love Under Two Drifters happens to be another sinfully delicious read in Cara Covington, aka, Morgan Ashbury's Lusty, Texas Series! I am amazed with each new installment and how engrossed I become in the stories. In this particular story, we get some Montana Benedicts who move home to Lusty to hopefully start fresh and hopefully, with family that treats them good and with the respect they deserve. But they get something even better, when they get introduced to the lovely, slightly older, and sweet Laci. Laci wanted to get away from her past and make a new chapter in her life. She thought she was done with men until she meets Trace and Lucas Benedict who show her what REAL men are and how REAL men treat their women, Lusty style! I found we got a lot more with this story than the romance between Trace, Lucas, and Laci. We got a real depth look on what transpired between the quiet and sweet Ricoh and the strong and sad Angelina. I really hope to see a happy ending with these two in the future. If anyone in Lusty deserves love, its obviously Ricoh and Angelina. I really enjoyed and fell in love with Love Under Two Drifters. And not with just Trace, Lucas, and Laci, but the whole town of Lusty. They not only band together for the bad, but they are always there for one another to celebrate the good. Its a wonderful town and the men that happen to live there, sure know how to treat a woman. I can't seem to stop loving this series. Morgan Ashbury creates something magical with every new book and I am never disappointed. I give LUT Drifters a SPECTACULAR FIVE SHOOTING STARS! I loved the passion, the steamy sex, and heck, EVERYTHING to do with Lusty.
This book is actually a 2 for 1. Not only is this the story of Trace, Laci, and Lucas, but we also get the benefit of learning the story of Angela and Ricoh.
In true Lusty fashion, Laci comes to Lusty with a past that is catching up to her. As she tries to move on with her life the best she can, she meets Trace and Lucas. Although she tries to hold them off emotionally, there is no chance for that wall to hold.
Trace and Lucas came to Texas to learn more of the family that was kept from them. Then, they were going to move on. They thought they would drift in, then drift right out. They might have too if they hadn't meet Laci.
I really enjoy the Lusty, Texas series. Every book is a new love story, but with each book you feel like you are coming home for a visit. Characters from books past come together and you "know" them. If you haven't read this series, you really should.
I loved this book! Not only did I get a great story about Laci and her men, I finally got to read Ricoh's story! I had a little problem keeping the story straight because they were similar in a way. It kept me on my toes. Also, at the end when they were talking to family at the engagement party, Chase Benedict introduced Terry (Terrence) Parker as his cousin, but I thought Terry was a Jessop and Tracy Jessop-Kendall's brother?? I am confused. I will have to read again to find out I guess... Not a hardship...LOL I would still love to read Addison Benedict's story and about the new character Braeden Carter!
This book is what I've come to expect when reading a Lusty book. I really like the sense of family that this community has. I loved seeing 3 outsiders, 2 of whom were family, come to find that sense of family too. Once again the woman was in trouble, but this time the men of the town were able to come up with a plan so that the women didn't band together to save the day, too bad! lol
The trio in this one was fun. I liked how they all went into it with a "friends with benefits" mindset. It was something Laci needed to feel safe as she was 10 years older than the men. Laci's few comments about being a cougar had me laughing, but the 3 of them were a good match.
I want to move to Lusty!! Another wonderful installment from Ms. Covington! I loved the characters. Laci's was a strong, courageous and sexy heroine. Trace and Lucas are another fantastic addition to the Benedict clan. Their honesty and integrity just bled through the pages. The lovin' was SUPER HOT, with so much love and tenderness, I just about exploded!! Another huge bravo to Ms. Covington for another fabulous book!!
Love the Lusty Series. Love Under Two Drifters is awesome. Love how Laci , Trace and Lucas all come to Lusty with there own demons and find that things are not always as they expect. Its great to see that Love finds a way to bring people together (with a little help from Grama Kate). Also Happy that Angela and Ricoh are getting a second chance. Highly recommend this book, and the whole series
It has the same story line as all of the other books but was still a pretty fun read to relax with. At times it seemed to be going slow and I would wish for things to pick up or have more action with the stalker/extortionist, something.
I truly enjoyed Trace, Laci, and Lucas' story. They were friends first and then moved on to more... But with her past and their family issues would it grow to more... I so enjoyed this book I really love it when people are friends first....onto the next
Younger men and older woman... not my favorite, but it was ok. I like couples best when they're around 5 years max in age difference. Otherwise, it just doesn't seem like the same generation, with the same culture.
Lovely story. The town of Lusty Texas, just oozes family love which is wonderful to read about in this day and age. Steamy love scenes, danger and rescue keeps you wanting to read more. Great book, I am loving this series.
Laci is finally free. So she decides to visit her best friend and hopefully make a new start in Lusty, Texas. The last thing she wants is love, but in Love Under Two Drifters by Cara Covington, love is what she gets. Now can she tell the men she wants more than they offered? We return to Lusty, Texas in this addition to Ms. Covington’s popular series of the same name. And I do so love returning, as two more brothers from the Montana Benedict branch learn they are more like the Texas branch of Benedicts. Trace and Lucas have been disillusioned by their family so a visit to cousins is all they are looking to do. Never did they expect to find love and acceptance. Can they trust the feeling? Lusty and its residents work their magic on these lost souls. Trace and Lucas have found something with Laci and they are determined to protect it and her. But will she trust them enough to let them into more than just her body? Ms. Covington always gives a well written story and this is no exception. Trace, Lucas and Laci have demons that have sent them to Lusty and they must learn to trust in each other. The journey isn’t as easy as it appears at first glance but it is well worth following. I thoroughly enjoyed not only this story but the characters as well. This story is well worth your time and money!
A hundred and sixty-six pages, with a good portion of those pages devoted to sex scenes, and a side story about Rico Stone and Angela Monroe, is just too short. Another reviewer pointed out .."...you don't always have to describe every time the characters have sex. This just felt like page filler in this book rather than giving the reader a good love story". I think that sums this book up. This is a "typical" Lusty, TX read. I like the books in this series for several reasons. I like the concept of Lusty, how it was founded, the live and let live attitude. I like the concept of the loving, loyal family. In this story, two more of the "Montana Benedicts" come to Lusty (a branch of the family not tolerant or loving). Again, this book is way too short to deal with the "land greed" issues and skips right over the ten-year age difference between Laci and the brothers. Just rushes right on to The End. Rushed? Cookie Cutter? Not a story I'd ever pick up and read again. Just not the best in the series.
I enjoyed this book very much… and I love how much this series continues to grow book after book. The stories are unique and provide the reader with a fresh take every time. While some scenes will seem similar, because let’s face it we all know how sex works
The story could live without the sex but let’s be honest we all love the sex…
This story revolves around Lacy, Trace, and Lucas who are trying to find a place to fit in and forget the past. While this story does revolve mostly around them we get to catch up on almost everyone from the series, especially my favorite character grandma Kate… who let’s face it I wish was my grandma lol…
I won’t go into to many details about the book because I really want all of you to read it and enjoy the world the Cara Covington has created. There is something for everyone in this book and the entire series.
I give this book 5 diamonds for continuing to give me amazing characters and even better stories…
I have to say I always have a soft spot for older women with younger men stories. This older woman is not - absolutely not interested in a relationship. In friendship yes, and some side benefits - what could be the harm? The book contains (in my opinion) the hottest scenes Ms Covington has ever yet penned, and the stories (because there are more than one) are tender and heart-warming. But please don't read it out of order, and you might just want to refresh yourself on the Lusty characters in the most recent books before you start reading - or you might get confused, as I did. My only slight, slight niggle is that I would have liked to see a little more of the friendship developing before Laci and her swains decided to take it further to the hot stuff. But - I guess we'd all like our favourite books to be longer, wouldn't we?
I love the series, but this was not my favorite by a long shot. I actually skipped most of the sex scenes because I wanted to get more of the story. Unfortunately there wasn't enough of it. The author needs to remember you don't always have to describe every time the characters have sex. This just felt like page filler in this book rather than giving the reader a good love story.
loved this one, it was nice to meet more of the Montana family. This series is still going strong and I think its because it depicts a place where family is really cherished and you don't have to be blood to be family and who wouldn't want to live in a place where you are accepted for who you are. I know I would like to live there.
Trace, Lucas, and Lack were meant to meet and fall in love - can a older women accept two younger men and make it work. They have some hurdles to get over first.
