ONLY 18 STORIES - NOT 25! SOME AUTHOR NAMES DISPLAYED BUT THEN NO STORY FOLLOWING IT.
Jax; 'not quite' Puma - This story was fab. I adored Jax's narrative, it was funny, sweet and really read like a rouge-ish guy. So good, it makes me want to read the 'not quite' series. 5 stars.
A Prince's Gift - I didn't understand this story at all beyond the first few pages. Character pov's switched randomly and the story was very disjointed. It was all over the place. There was no conclusion to the story, it just randomly ended. 1 star.
Barefoot @ Christmas - This was an okay story but I wasn't particularly invested in the characters. There wasn't enough chemistry between them and no 'bad boy' to be found. Lexi was definitely the best character. 3 stars.
Forever Tied - Didn't read. Wasn't feeling it after reading the synopsis. ? Stars.
Minded: A Haunted Story - I really didn't know what to expect from this and I almost skipped it. I'm immensely relieved that I didn't. It was awesome. For characters I'd only just encountered and in such a short story, I was totally drawn in. I smiled, cried and laughed. It was cleverly put together and I've never encountered a story like it before. I want to follow Maggie and Louis on more adventures. 5 stars.
The Wolf Of Christmas Future: Witchcraft + Shifters + Time travel + Apocalyptic nuclear war + Christmas = one weirdly brilliant read. You won't find another story similar to this. Well worth a read. 4 Stars.
His Mate For Christmas- This was a good story but it was pretty predictable. The best word to describe it would be nice. Wanted to know more about Max and Stacey. 3 Stars.
A Jack Silver Christmas - This had the potential to be a great story but unfortunately it was only good. Mainly because Aja, the main female, was completely unlikeable. It was a shame as I really enjoyed Jack Silver's character. 3 Stars.
The Alpha's Needs - Corbin and Dawn made a good couple, I just wished Dawn had more presence. Her character seemed wish-washy and at the end I didn't real feel like I knew her. Overall, okay shifter story. 3 Stars.
Charley's Christmas Wolf - a good story about an alpha wolf needing a mate. It was a nice story and I especially enjoyed the parts that included the warrior wolves. 3 Stars.
Gateway - I was intrigued by some of the elements of this story. The alliance and just who Gateway, Kat and Nate really are. 3 Stars.
All I Want For Christmas - I really liked this story. It was funny, sexy and endearing. The characters had lots of chemistry and I loved how the story ended. Just wished there was an epilogue, then it would have been a 5 star short story for me. Still, a great read. 4 Stars.
Her Big Bad Polar Bear - This was a fab short shifter story. I liked the characters and they had lots of chemistry. Might have to read the next one to find out who Ivan's mate is. Overall, sexy, sweet and eventful read. 4 Stars.
Fated By Fire - This was the start of what I imagine will become a series. This story dealt with the main couple coming together and setting up for a future conflict with a rival dragon clan. It was good, but it was missing something. This part of the story ended nicely but I don't think I'd follow the rest of their story. 3 Stars.
A Protector's Second Chance - Adored this story. I love it when characters have a hidden history and this one was great to read about. The hat-pin story was brilliant and it just completed the story for me. I would like to know more about the king gargoyle too. 5 Stars.
Wildest Dream - if you like highly descriptive stories you'll like this. I thought the cabin was to play a big part in the story given how thoroughly it was described. All of this distracted from the story. It was also the start of a longer book so I felt a bit like there was no pay off. Disappointed. 2 Stars.
Shapeshifting Escorts - This story was probably pretty good but having to read every sentence a few times to sound out the correct Scottish dialect took away from all that. Half way through I was losing the plot. It was a shame as I've never read a horse shifter story before. 2 Stars.
The Last Christmas- This story was very interesting. I loved the idea or Angels, reapers and people having multiple souls. Really drew me in to what was happening. And although there were still plenty of unanswered questions, I was happy with the ending. 3 Stars.

Charley's Christmas
I just loved this book. One of my favorite things was that it sucks you in right away. The glow was so good. And you will fall in love with all the characters. I want to live there with them so bad. I could really feel the bond, not only with the hero/heroine, but with the whole pack. I will have to say that this is one of my favorite reads this year!

What a compelling short with a new twist from Danielle James! I was stunned at how much was packed into this suspenseful and steamy story of a playboy shifter and a quirky woman of the future.
Beyond the humor of a Kian being completely out of his element, and off his game, the tension that arises from being stuck with this feisty and curios woman is HOT! All leading up to a twisted ending that will have you both in tears of sadness and joy.
This short alone is worth the .99!!

This is an incredible set. Wow! I just got it and started reading, but the Authors and the books in this set are worth well over $25 and you pay 99 cents, unheard of, this is an awesome set I am so happy I got it!!!!! Oh and PT Macias' Story in here, "HOT" Just saying!!!

I received an ARC of Minded: A Haunted Story from R.L. Merrill in exchange for an honest review. I had already pre-ordered anyway since it is only $.99 and all the money goes to St.Jude Children's Research Hospital so how can you go wrong!? Honestly, I loved it!! I loved the paranormal twist and getting to know Maggie better. Maggie was first introduced to me in R.L.Merrill's other book "Haunted" but you do not have to have read Haunted to read Minded! I'm terrible at writing reviews without giving away the story but I honestly loved this story and can't wait to hear more of Maggie and Louis and their ghostly adventures!!

5 Stars - Sensational Collection
I enjoyed several of these, some more than others if I had to pick a favorite it would be R.l. Merrill
Although I did find some were not to my liking I'm glad to say I have found a few new to me authors who I would be happy to read more from.
Overall I think this collection for the price of $0.99 cents is well worth it - Especially considering this fabulous group of authors are donating the proceeds to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

A great eclecticism group of stories for lovers of the paranormal. There are werewolves, shifters, vampires and more written by top authors in the field. I enjoyed reading from several points of imagination about these fascinating beings. I wanted to give the box set five stars but there were so many editing issues that I felt I couldn't give it a perfect score. I wish we had a 4.5 rating because the stories are certainly deserving.

This was pretty good, some of the stories seemed to just end in the middle of the story and one of them was difficult to read with the Irish dialect but other than that the stories were pretty good.

I have purchased this boxset and I am reading my way through the collection of hot alpha bad boys. I brought this boxset for two reasons the first being the proceeds are going to charity ~ St. Jude Children's Hospital for research into children's cancer, and secondly because I love reading & finding new authors.
I was given an early ARC from Melissa Bell and read BEARFOOT@Xmas in one sitting. Lexi Cavanagh is one hot feisty female who has taken on the role of special consultant for the Park Rangers and is on the search for illegal trappers. Whilst on the hunt she finds the Greyson brothers and Duke Greyson is screaming MINE before she even steps through the door. This story is full of hot sexy scenes, funny one liners, drama and a HEA.

I received an arc copy for an honest review of bearfoot @ Christmas by Melissa Bell, however I also purchased the box set, although I have yet to finish reading it!
Bearfoot @ Christmas is a wonderful story set just before Christmas. Lexi is a human working with the wildlife rangers service, she must work with the local ranger Duke, a bear shifter, to find some missing bear cubs and to take down some illegal trappers. Along the way things get very complicated and the rescue mission becomes much larger.
This is a well written and lovable characters with a very welcoming clan. I hope to see more of them in future books from this author! This book contains many different shifters but primarily bear and wolf.
I highly recommend this book because its simply awesome! Also because its a new and exciting clan to explore and great if your into shifter books, mystery and romance.

I was given an ARC of Fated by Fire for an honest review. I have to say this is the first dragon shifter book I have read. I could not put this book down until I had read the last page. The main character a red dragon must find his soul mate and complete the mating ceremony before the white dragon finds her and kills her. The red dragons defeated the white dragons years ago and now they want to take back the land they think I theirs. Does the red dragon find and mate with his soulmate? Do the white dragons manage to take back the land they think is theirs?
I am sorry I should have written the names down so I could have referred to the. I don't want to spoil this book for you.

As with most anthologies there are stories that you love and others that are just not your mind of book/story, I really enjoyed most of these, and have found a few new authors to follow. In this anthology there were a few that just did not appeal to me, but I know that others will enjoy highly. I am also so honored to have been chosen to read this because of what this anthology stands for helping St. Jude's Childrens hospital The authors are amazing to do this. Please take the time to purchase this book for such a worthy cause you will not be disappointed and I am sure you will find new amazing authors to add to you to be read list too.

This is a great group of authors that put together a amazing collection of stories!!! This amazing group is donating the proceeds to St. Jude's Children's Hospital so that just puts you in the feels!!!!
I try not to get to many collection type books but this one has some much loved Authors in it so it had to be done!!!
Julia Mills : JAX:a 'Not Quite' Puma Love Story is a great fun read, I've become hooked on her 'Not Quite' stories!!!
P.T. Macias : The Prince's Secret is super hot and I cannot wait to read more about Andy!
Danielle James : The Wolf of Christmas Future is a must read from the collection...
P. Mattern : A Jack Silver Christmas does vampires so well!
These are just the ones I read so far but as I get to more I'll update!!!

Julia Mills : JAX:a 'Not Quite' Puma Love Story is a great fun read, I've become hooked on her 'Not Quite' stories!!!
P.T. Macias : The Prince's Secret is super hot and I cannot wait to read more about Andy!
Danielle James : The Wolf of Christmas Future is a must read from the collection...
P. Mattern : A Jack Silver Christmas does vampires so well!

OMG!! so there is no need for anymore Christmas stories if you have this set!!
All the stories are written superbly and will make your toes tingle and leave you trying to decide which Alpha you want for Christmas..
My personal fave was Barefoot @ Xmas By Melissa Bell LOVED LOVED LOVED it ! you will not be left for wanting when you read this collection any others will seem pale next to these

Nice read, likable characters.
Liked the frat boy feel at the first, no responsibilities just have fun with the little "bunnies".
Then it hits him MATE and he's knocked off his feet and just can't figure out all the emotions that come barreling at him. Love it.

This is a great start to a new series. Corbin is the soon to be alpha of the Night Pride Pack and he is out looking for human girls he calls 'bunnies' to have a one night stand with, there is no way he wants anything serious. Dawn is a nurse and she was out with some friends. They pass in the night as she was going into a bar and he was heading out with a 'bunnie' until he caught Dawn's scent as they passed each other. Instant attraction for him she didn't notice him at all. Once they finally meet she has no idea he is a wolf shifter and he has no idea she is a virgin. This is a sexy romantic romp with some sizzling sex along the way. I can't say enough good things about this book. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

This novella was the first book I've ever read by this author, though I've seen how popular her dragon shifter books are. I really tried to like it, but had a hard time keeping up with the inexperienced style of writing. The story-line had a certain appeal, but the execution was missing, the characters stilted and the flow was disjointed. It felt more like an 18 year old, whose first language was not English, tried writing fiction for the first time. I would strongly suggest, that if the author tried to do everything by herself, that hiring an editor, having beta readers and proofreading done before releasing the next book, would be a huge improvement, then I would read another new book by Ms. Barner :) I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I love finding and reading a New Authors work, l love shifters. So this was a pleasure to read. A nice nights short read.
Corbin Alpha material denies his heritage and escapes to where women are easy come and all he wants is to party and get laid taking his mate Sam with him. Bunnies (girls, pick ups, easy prey) a reminder that he has to be careful of his heritage. He's a Alpha in denial, till leaving a club he passes a woman that draws him by scent, and her need. Dawn is a nurse that's talked into going out, then finds herself stuck and needing help. Do you yield to a strangers demands? Do you trust in the sexy man that smells so good, "the panty melting" green eyed sex machine. Do you invite him in when you get home?

Kinda disappointing...
I've only read the first story and part of the second. The first was decent, but seemed like the reader was being rushed to catch up with the story. Lots of confusing lines that should have been edited better!
The second story, however, is so horribly worded and confusingly edited that it is practically unreadable!
Don't know if I will finish the book.

A fantastic book. Loved the story line. This is a quick and easy read. I read this in one sitting. I was given this book for an honest review. If you like shifter books you will like this one. This one is worth your time and effort. I will encourage everyone to get this book. I can't wait for the next book.

This was a quick read but I fully enjoyed it. I would definitely read more from her. This book kept my interest while intriguing my interest in what the Alpha would do.
