First in Caroline Hanson's new quick release trilogy, Forgotten is the story of a young woman who has both everything and nothing. Rebecca Finner has a great apartment in New York City and a bottomless bank account, doctors who care for her and even a charitable foundation willing to do anything they can to help.

But she'd give it all up to remember her past.

Waking up from a coma two months ago with severe injuries and blood loss, Rebecca doesn't know who she is or where she came from. All she knows is that she goes to a therapist every week and that they ask her questions she can't answer. And from behind a one way mirror, someone is watching her, prompting the doctor to ask her questions and paying for everything she has...including her costly drug prescriptions.

And then she meets Leander Marchant in the elevator, a dark haired and beautiful business man who terrifies her and turns out to be her benefactor. Who is he to her? Why does he scare the hell out of her? And what will he do to her once she figures out everything she's forgotten?

Caroline Hanson grew up in California and moved to London in order to dance and go to pubs. Eventually, she matured enough to marry and imported an Englishman, returning to the United States.

After passing the bar, she had two children and now tries to parent, read, write and play tennis. She's heard rumors that other mothers clean and cook but is putting in serious effort to make sure those rumors don't reach her family.

Caroline grew up listening to Brit pop and reading about vampires. As a teenager her favorite authors were Anne Rice and Jude Deveraux. Now she loves Laurell K. Hamilton, Charlaine Harris, Patricia Briggs, Laura Kinsale, Lisa Kleypas, Loretta Chase, Nalini Singh and JR Ward-- that's the short list.

She is also the proud owner of a WWJD t-shirt, (What Would Joss do?) which she hopes is apparent in her books.

She loves to hear from fans and her second book in the Valerie Dearborn Series, Love is Fear, will be published in December 2011.

A free short story called Bewitching the Werewolf was released in September on Smashwords.

Forgotten also known as Bound to the Infinite is the first book in the Rebecca Finner series of books. Forgotten is about Rebecca Finner, at least that is who she thinks she is. Rebecca woke up with amnesia two months ago. When the book starts, Rebecca is talking about a reoccurring dream she has every night to a therapist. While the therapist likes to act like he is in charge, there is an unknown benefactor behind a mirror wall who talks to the therapist through an ear piece, asking questions through the therapist of his own at the end. While the benefactor is an unknown person, Rebecca thinks of that person as a him feels that is good enough until she finds out different. The benefactor has set Rebecca up in an apartment, but she does not know if she has any family or anything else about her life before she woke up. Rebecca feels weird about having someone pay for her apartment, schooling, bills, food and everything including a couple credit cards and a very nice bank account. She just does not know what else to do. I will let you read and see from here, as it would give too much away to tell more.

This book is a good book. The characters develop fast and the story is steady. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys paranormal stories.
I give this book 4 hearts.

Bad romance book

The writing was good, and the plot was too, and then the ending got dumb.

The world was not developed enough in this book.

From the moment you begin reading this you are seriously enthralled, or at least I was. How can you not be when you are presented with so many elements in this that keep us continually guessing even when we know the answers, and further sends chills down our spine in fear and then accelerates the heartbeat in expectation? If this all sounds like a contradiction then in a way it is and this very contradiction is the charm that holds the reader spellbound in the novel.

Amnesia, vampires, an alpha male and malevolent beings are all there and no this is not by any means a spoiler. This is a paranormal romance so we expect certain things. I am merely pointing out that we get them. We get them and then we are taken on this complex, confusing ride of emotions and events interwoven with an attraction so tangible that it jumps off the page and suddenly, we have to keep reading until we can't turn another page. In this world of less than originality simply because so much has been already done and technology gets it out there so immediately it is refreshing and incredibly satisfying to have a book include elements we like and want and twist them into an addiction. We get to the end knowing full well we now have to wait to know more and we hate the author for it. We need our fix and soon. Of course we do, she knows it and so do we. She has us at her mercy.

It was good enough that I read it all in one sitting, but nothing about the plot or characters stands out as truly memorable. Usually I don’t like plots that use amnesia. It wasn’t bad in this since the book started of with Rebecca having it, so I was just as interested as she was to find out what had happened to her.

It irritated me with Rebecca that she didn’t question her current circumstances more. She knew certain things weren’t right like someone watching her behind a glass mirror during therapy, but she didn’t do anything about it. She didn’t try to get out of it. The doctor was giving her a crazy amount of psych meds, and she never questioned it. Even once it was pointed out to her that it was odd, she still didn’t give it much thought.

IDK what to think of Leander. He was definitely mysterious. I couldn’t decide if he truly was a threat or not. The chemistry was good between him and Rebecca, but I’m not completely invested in their relationship. Something was definitely off with the two of them.

Loved it!

I really loved this book. The chemistry between Rebecca and Leander is palpable even before you really find out their connection to each other. They rival my favorite couple Lucas and Valerie! I'm eagerly awaiting the next book!!!

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. It started off with a great premise, but I'm not quite sure that I liked the second half. The relationship between Rebecca and LM is very messed up. Very.
