Searching for the origin of life is a daunting task.
Searching for the race that first began to spread life through the cosmos, that completely disappeared is even more impossible.
Sailing through space on a hunch will lead to a miraculous discovery, but not as expected. What the crew finds is nothing more than even more answers to endless questions. That, and problems when they uncover a person that looks like them.
Problems often being a loudly outspoken and hotheaded redhead finding herself followed by a man with no memories, but can't keep away. Oliver finds out he's different quickly, but can't keep his hands off the strong woman called Renee who likes to make him feel inadequate.

So begins the hunt to uncover the truth by sailing the galaxy and for Oliver to deal with all obstacles such an endeavor will take.

Ok, I really liked that book, the romance was hard to stomach completely different from Kanade and Ethan from the Spirit Guide Saga. Here the relationship is dominated by the female love interest and the male MC is a bit emasculated (no she really bust his balls!). I'm not a fan of starcraft so the references went right up my head but it was a good read nonetheless.

It's sadden me to even say this but wow the sex was crude in it, and the society the human evolve in this series is really libertarian.

I liked it, but I don't recommend this to prudes or feminists.

Great! You can really see where the influence from Rogue Galaxy comes into play (pretty heavily at times, but not in a bad way!). The StarCraft influence is there as well but not as obvious. Really excited to read the next book (which I already purchased!).
