Un grupo de jovenes llegan a una isla a investigar, pero extrañamente esa isla no se encuentra en el GPS, no existe en ningún lugar.
A la distancia creen ver a una persona y uno de ellos se lanza a ayudar, lo extraño es lo que no esperaban presenciar y vivir después de este heroico suceso.

Un primer tomo llamativo, con una historia conocida pero inquietante y muy gore. La historia que tiene la isla me ha gustado y los personajes que se están desarrollando hasta ahora están muy interesantes.

El dibujo me ha encantado y en general era de esperarse de este mangaka que crea historias inquietantes, crudas y absolutamente atrapantes.

I came across this series when I was reading manga online. Typical slasher plot. Nothing special. Cliche. Very violent and quite gory in an uninteresting way. Won't continue after 2 volumes.

A mysterious island that was once a refuge for fanatical Christians has become a destination of interest for the Ruins Research Club of a local college.

They could not have known the horror they would soon face as they are hunted by a cannibalistic man donning a pig’s face for a mask.

Honestly? Pretty cool so far. It definitely has a B horror movie set up but I kind of dig it. The gore and macabre art keep me entertained in the places that the story lacks, and there was a weird twist at the end of the volume that I MUST have explained.

Kids shipwrecked on a supposedly deserted island discover it holds terrible secrets. It's like a Japanese version of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. An interesting premise with a lot of gore, my main complaint has to do with the art. The characters and action sequences are good enough, but for some reason the artist uses a lot of photographs for the backgrounds. It makes for a jarring juxtaposition that pulls me out of the story at times.

First few chapters were good. Lots of gore with mediocre plot. It got to the point where everything doesn't even makes sense anymore. I was surprise I even reached chapter 71 lol

Beaucoup de violence pour pas grand chose. Pour le coup on dirait la suite raté d'un film d'horreur à succès réalisé avec un budget limité. J'ai pas compris la fin (wtf?), ni apprécié les protagonistes, je m'attendais à mieux.

I want to say this has a good story, but I feel like there isn’t really a saving grace. I’ve read a bit too much and made the mistake of slowly getting myself invested in the plot, but genuinely, it is not that great. The story is probably the only interesting about it, despite it being so mediocre, as the characters all appear to be very boring, self-serving, uninteresting, and genuinely 2 dimensional characters. I guess it is pretty cool to see everyone fall into despair and insanity, accomodating to the violence they witness to conducting it themselves. The illustrations are quite, well, jarring. Gore and violence is a huge aspect of the series and although it is not surprising, the visual clarity in the drawings makes it hard to see just what is going on. It appears more like a clutter than a panel trying to depict a scene. Action sequences are also pretty novice looking, with confusing and unclear silhouettes that makes everything look mangled. Some panels look really well drawn, particularly the environments, but characters, action, gore, all of that is just really messy.

I started reading this because of a TikTok and it looked like an interesting plot line but this is a hard skip. As someone once told me, it isn’t worth reading anything incredible!!

j'ai beaucoup apprecier ce premier tome, qui est vraiment très gore, bien que le scénario est très basique, se rapprochant de massacre à la tronçonneuse.

Beaucoup de questions se posent à nous dès le départ : Qui est le cochon? Pourquoi fait-il cela? Quelles sont ses motivations? Nos protagonistes vont-ils réussir à lui échapper?

L'intrigue est vraiment pas mauvaise, et je trouve le premier tome très efficace, on à vraiment envie de découvrir la suite!

Pour information, l'auteur n'est autre que HOKAZONO Masaya, auteur de Pumpkin Night, rien que ça... 😍
