Michael Richards is an engineer in the United States Air Force with a Ph.D. in Energy Science. He was born in Texas but has lived in 10 states, 6 countries, 3 continents, 4 planets, and 2 galaxies. While there's no place like home--because no place is home--he's always happiest around his magical wife and five mischievous children. He's currently stationed in downtown Tokyo, Japan, where his assignment is to find and fund top quantum science researchers in Asia. He likes growing beards (when on leave...), smashing atoms, and making cheese; but not at the same time. He loves squeezing stories out of the diverse experiences he's had.
This book provides a breakdown of the most common social media sites and specific strategies that you can employ to succeed with each. If you're new to social media, or don't know where to start, this book will help you figure out which sites will serve you best. Easy to understand and full of good suggestions.
I was reading along and then the next page was blank.
There was some good info. It was a refresher for me but I enjoyed the content. There were too many blank pages! This can be fixed easily. But it was annoying that it hadn't been noted or checked prior to my reading it. Maybe it was just a glitch I had. I do not know this.
Content is a bit outdated, but the principles presented in the book are still very strong. Regardless of the platform the high-level approach to social media is the same today.
Ok if you just arrived from another planet but a lot of the stuff is so obvious. Not sure when it was written but I feel like it's a bit out of date and I know more than the writer.
Dam, this book was good. It's very good for basics in a domain where everything is evolving and changing so fast. Seriously I learnt a lot more than I though I would, and definitly more than in my university class. I would recommend greatly for anyone looking to grow its business.
Full of tips. Some good, most I know already. Great for a beginner. Some of the advice I don't agree with but it may work for you. Overall good, easy read.
