There was some good stuff in there, some stuff that is now out of date and not relevant to todays times. Also felt like a lot of information went over my head a little, and wasn’t easy to understand. I also skipped through chapters that weren’t relevant to me either. Nice addition of the templates at the back so I can start looking at my own budgeting.
I thought this was fantastic. Im close to my 50s and working on killing my mortgage. Saving for retirement is something I knew I had to do, but I thought simply owning a house was enough. Ive learned so much that will motivate me to save the money I was spending on the mortgage, rather than spending it on holidays and the like, thinking I had it sorted!
The Kill Your Mortgage chapter is almost half way in so I was surprised it took so long considering most people who pick up the book already have a mortgage. Other than that the chapters on business were helpful and gave some useful examples.
I'm trying to learn more about things I know not much about - this was a pretty accessible intro and interesting enough. Picked up after their webinar was offered at work.
Excellent way to identify your spending habits and overcome some of the mortgage myths. A must read for anyone with a 25yr or 30yr mortgage. 10yrs is the new 30.
