Hoorah BEF

Another great chapter in the annals of the BEF. Well written with a great and exciting plot. Good character development. Action sequences exciting. Technology developments really spectacular. Recommended if you like action and adventure fantasies.

A well coordinated, well armed, well trained force for good. That describes the Black Eagle Force to a T. When the US Secretary of State is kidnapped by ISIS, the BEF is contracted to try to locate and effect a rescue. What happens next is four hundred pages of action, punctuated with some brisk, sometimes salty, dialog between the members of the BEF team. From the Middle East to North Korea, the team deals with ISIS, nuclear weapons, and hostages as well as a less than supportive political administration at home. Absolutely great read, in line with all of the previous books in this series.

This is a great military action techno-thriller. The military experience of the two authors (Farmer - marine, Steinke - USAF) is evident in their vivid word pictures of air battles and ground combat. The story is fast paced. The action is fantastic. Don't start this book unless you have time, because it is HARD to put down. It is also noteworthy that these two military veteran authors chose to dedicate this book to those four Americans who lost their lives in the radical Islamic attack on the US Embassy in Benghazi, Libya. For readers that really like BLACK EAGLE FORCE, I encourage checking out their historical western fiction which are fantastic.
