Plus-size Rebecca’s on a jaunt to another world. She had hopes of finding herself a nice, sweet shifter like her sister, but somehow she ended up attracted to the big, fiery dragon. A dragon who isn’t looking for love. If only he didn’t have eyes that made her want to take her panties off and a body that sent her hormones into a coma, life would be a lot easier.
Vikter Dragos is dying. His dragon couldn’t find a mate and he’s at the end of his time. He’s fighting the attraction for a sassy, curvy human, but it’s near impossible to stay away from her. If only she’d been his mate, life would be so much easier. He’s losing control of his dragon and his emotions. With Becca around, his life just got more complicated.
Becca’s in constant confusion over Vikter’s hot and cold attitude. One moment he’s kissing her like the world’s going to end and the next he’s warning her off getting attached. Figuring out how to scale this dragon might take a lot more patience than she’s got. When competition arises and Vikter sees another wants Becca, he’ll face his feelings or risk losing her forever.
Reader Note: Hang on to your panties, folks! This book contains smokin' hot sex (the fire-breathing kind), adult language (we like some freaky dirty talk), violence and verbal smack downs. If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you like dirrrrrty (with all those Rs) sex with an anti-social dragon on one curvy sarcastic girl, then this is right up your alley. Enjoy!

Badly written, one of those "books" that should remain in one's trunk. Cheesy, and for me definitely not sexy, on the contrary almost mood killing :).
Whatever GR says, this isn't 180 pages. It's a short novella (consider that to make a bigger number of chapters there's a new one every couple of pages).
An even more personal point: I'm overweight, and if this is the kind of books that should make me feel better for my size, the answer is fucking not. I think it's offensive in its simplicistic view (only shifter, aka fantasy people, can appreciate bat-wings...this is not empowering. Show me a woman sure of herself, do not use a battering ram to make a point.). (No, I'm not offended. This book is not that good...)
5/31/19 update to 5 Magical Sexy Stars! Why?🥵❤️🐉 Well after reading more books in this series I found that this story in particular had me the hottest. 🥵🥵☺️❤️ 🐉🐲 What can I say. I am a sucker when it comes to romance especially shifter romance. This story was short and sweet. Straight to the point which I really enjoy sometimes.
Becca & Victor was such a cute couple with a lot of sexual chemistry. Caution: This story will have you squirming & horney as hell! Erotic Romance is a great way to improve your sex life with your partner. It gets you wanting sex! That’s kind of why I love this genre. Hey don’t judge! 😉
A new animal....claps hands wildly!! Vikter and Becca's story is a little tamer than the previous books in the series when it comes to the sexy time but I LOVED all the heart that was provided in this story.
This specific video review will be included in the August 2018 wrap-up.

I enjoy Milly Taiden's books and am a big fan of her PDA series. The stories have all been sexy and fun. I was looking forward to Vikter and Rebecca's story after finishing There's Snow Escape. It seemed as if their story would be off the charts. Rebecca with her fiery personality and Vikter with his quiet, broody strength. But I have to say, the Vikter in the story made it really difficult for me to enjoy Scaling Her Dragon as much as I enjoyed the other books in the series. Where he was broody in Snow Eacape, he was impossibly so in Scaling her Dragon. The way he treated Becca with his hot then cold then hot again actions was frustrating. Sure, it was an intentional part of the story because of what was happening between him and his dragon. But, I actually didn't care for him as a MC. I loved Becca because she was no shrinking violet and Vickter's sister Razzy was adorable. Of course you add in Charlotte, Becca's sister, and Gerri and the story was solidly enjoyable. There was a brief moment of drama that brought Vikter's relationship reticence to an end; however, I felt that his confession of love could have been a bit more potent after all he put Becca through. He needed to beg :D.
All of my mild misgivings aside, the story was enjoyable overall, and I look forward to reading the next one.
Scaling Her Dragon is book eight in the Paranormal Dating Agency by Milly Taiden. We get humor, adventure, sexy shifters and sassy women.
I always love return to the Paranormal Dating Agency. Each book brings us a new couple.
Rebecca and Victor where a nice couple. Not my favorite, but still the story was enjoyable to read. Victor made it hard for me to fully enjoy this one. He was a little too mean to his mate. Ya, he does not know it’s his mate, but wow he was mean and hot and cold with his actions. It got to be frustrating. I loved Rebecca because she is no shrinking violet. She didn’t take to kindly to his mean side and told him so. One other thing I noticed and did not like was how easy Rebecca let him off. He needed to grovel more for what he said and did to her. I did enjoy Razzy, Victor’s sister. She was adorable. As always we get a little conflict with other shifters, but our story focuses on Victor and Rebecca building that mate bond.
This story was enjoyable and I look forward to reading the next one.
OMG Milly Taiden has finally wrote a smoking hot growly Dragon... Oh he is great like all the alpha males in the PDA series he needs Ms wilder to help him. Which I love the whole Idea of the Paranormal Dating Agency it makes a fun aspect to these stories with the spunky speaks her mind Gerri Wilder. I have been a fan of the awesome Ms. Taiden for a while and each book i swear she can't top how great it is and she always surprises me with more. Now lets talk so hot panty soaking sex no one writes it like her grab the ice and get ready to possible have a great fantasy in your dreams for this book so takes you there.... Hell, yes! Puh-lease, like I’d want a man who’s not good at that. I want that fire and smokin’ hot passion we spoke of earlier.” Gerri nodded. “Sheet-burning sex, huh?” “Oh, yes.” Becca nodded vigorously. “I’ll take that times five, please.” “You might need that fire extinguisher for that, though. Does it matter?” She grinned. “If he’s that good in bed, I’ll happily strap on a full fireman’s outfit and wait for him to light my fires.”
Rebecca joins Ms Wilder on next trip to Nova Aurora to see her sister and see what this new world is all about. There she meets the grumpy ready to die Viktor, But she sees the one thing she has always dreamed of a dragon flying in the night sky. how beautiful they are to bad they can't talk or can they....
“The dragon was gone. For a magical moment, she’d felt so in tune with the creature. Now, she was lonely again.”
Viktor was accepting his time was at a end. He and his dragon had separated and that was a sign his time was running out he was shocked when his beast appeared pushing to get out again. When he meets Becca in his office he was drawn to her and couldn't understand why? She drew him and made him want her for what time he has left but will that be enough and can she accept she will loose him?
“I know quite a few shifters who love some big curves. Are men’s opinions important to you?” She shook her head. “Not really. Despite what men think, I know I look good. I may not be everyone’s ideal of beauty, but I’m my own woman, and one day, I’ll be someone else’s. A man who deserves me. Who loves me as I am, without wanting a single thing changed in me.”
I really enjoyed this latest Paranormal Dating Agency story. We already know the hero and heroine from previous stories. I liked them both in previous stories. The heroine is great. She is confident and feisty. One thing about her, she always takes a dare. She goes to the shifter planet to visit her sister, but the matchmaker knows she has a mate on the planet. The hero is in a tough place. If he doesn't find his fated mate by a certain age, his dragon self goes away and he dies. He knows he is close. He asked the matchmaker to find him a mate, but it looks like it is going to be too late. He has given up. Then he meets her, but the recognition doesn't happen as it should. Don't worry, even though it is hard to get everyone on the same page, it all works out.
One of the best short reads I have ever read! We wanted Dragons & Milly Taiden gave them to us & they are wild! It was such an emotional ride, I felt so passionately for Vikter for what he is dealing with, I loved Becca she is super. What a hot read. The passion with these shifters is supreme.
As much as I love the PDA series this book didn't flow well for me. There is not any real character development for the Heroine. She falls in bed & love with Vic so quick I didn't see it coming. This just wasn't as good as the previous books in this series
This is one of my favorite of the PDA series. I liked Viktor and Becca, although it did bother me that he didn't want to tell her about his problem. But I loved how Becca dealt with him and the mixed messages he was putting out there. A good read!
This is one of the ones that I downloaded randomly from audible because it was on my Romance package and I did a search for Dragon shifter because I get in phases where sometimes on read about Dragon shifter's sometimes I worry about werewolves and sometimes vampires I take phases my supernatural creatures all though I will admit that I'm primarily a vampire/Dragon shifter sort of a girl. You have to have werewolves. Most of the time to because for some reason, they tend to go along with vampires a lot more than any other known Were. Okay so, I said that to explain why I had started with number eight instead of the beginning of the series, I'm sort of OCD that way that if I find a series I usually try to start with the first book, but as it happened this paranormal dating agency series appears to be sort of a standalone couple by couple type thing I did notice that in this one. There is mention of previous couples, but I don't know if that's because they are tentatively integrated or if it is because this particular main character is the sister of another main character in a previous book having to do with apparently werewolves and to the dragons. I found this book to be extremely entertaining. There are a few parts of being the start out a little slow but I was very fond of the confidence in the female lead and the message that the author subtly tries to impart in the book about self-esteem and the need to trust yourself and the server everyone else's opinions. I thought it was very interesting to see such a important and somewhat powerful message to today's society and this type of story format. Usually these books are more like porn without plot with very little substance. I like how this author even though this is a smaller two hour managed to put such a powerful message about body consciousness self-esteem issues and managed to impart the moral that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and not everybody's view beauty is the same not that was just a very wonderful way she did it without being overbearing about it just very subtly lead you to see how the characters feel and think. I also found this particular standalone novel to be rather refreshing. I spent the last few hours over the last couple days reading through some Dragon shifter novels where this overpowering, egotistical, chauvinistic pig of the Dragon comes in and says I want my mate in Capt. caveman style and she either throws a fit and fights and fights until it becomes repetitive and redundant and I'll know whether to be my off the desk or you have a check who has no backbone whatsoever who just goes along with whatever this big strong strapping man says and frankly, I would take an argumentative fighter over a mousy woman who just this is at my door. So I'm going to run off with you to bum Fuck knows where and let you tell me what to do for the rest of my life even though you haven't told me what you are why I'm not going to question and I'm just gonna bow down and do whatever you say I can't stand that. And unfortunately I have subjected myself to about four or five of those in the last day or so. So again I was very excited to come across this one because it is quite the opposite. This woman takes charge and she won't put up with no shit but she does it in such a way that doesn't make you want to jump in the book strangler feel sorry for the Dragon to the point of you don't even know why. He's trying other than his life and thought this author managed to balance the concepts so well that even though I generally don't read about their shifters or bird shifters or cat shifters or standalone I'm not real big on standalone series is because I get attached to a couple or a set of characters in the in the story is so short and then you don't have no more information on them and I'm like, God what's can I have been are they going to have kids of these 10, you know, I get very attached to my main characters if they catch my so I'm generally not fond of standalone series is because it's rare that I read a standalone novel in the paranormal genre at all. I usually all my paranormal books that I really really enjoy our multiple series is as if you know Laurell K Hamilton and JR Ward believe I read in space alien things about some sort of alien shifters a while back by Jessica Snow I Karen the name and series. I also was quite fond of the last series by Jennifer Armentrout it's a little B-movie cheesy but it was quite enjoyable. But once again I'm generally not fond of standalone series is JR Ward is about as close to a standalone series as I like to get at first when I first started reading the black dagger brotherhood. I was kinda put off that the story starts over with each brother but she has a way of even though you're focusing on another couple still bringing the characters together at certain point that makes it more applicable for me to continue reading her words. I am find myself losing my interest and the series that has couples coming together and then you no longer hear anything hardly at all from the other couples I had this problem with the Carpathian series by Christine Feehan and it just there are some crossover but not enough for my liking between the main you know between the characters of each book, so her books are harder for me to stay focused on. For that reason, but that is just you know a personal pet peeve of mine again. All of the series. I mentioned a really good weather you like standalone do not like standalone I just have a personal problem letting go of the main characters I get attached to it don't know if that makes me strange or not I like to be able to come back and look in on certain ones throughout a story and hey, yeah okay. If you're looking for a quick read to give you the warm and fuzzy's then this is probably edge. Another thing that I have to give this particular author credit on are the sex scenes. I mean they're not as good as some of my favorite authors but I have found. As I said especially recently. There were a few books that for the first time in my life. I could not take the sex scenes because they were just you ridiculously blinking blinking porno you know trashy they are trashy sex scenes and then there are you know erotic romantic sex scenes and anyone who spends any time reading paranormal romance knows what I'm talking about. I personally love having a good sexy when you know the time comes for the characters to come together like that but there are word combinations that I find completely offputting when the author just throws them out there like they're trying too hard to be sexual or they're not personally comfortable writing sex scene so the sex scenes become I want is a trashy and overdone. I I don't I don't really have the words for what I mean. There is just a difference. As been my experience that most of the sex scenes in a smaller novels are repetitive and somewhat crassly written like they're trying to overcompensate for I don't know what. So that is also something that I have to give the smaller novel. This author managed to and incorporate everything I have Artie spoken of, as well as decently written sex scenes that weren't too overdone or or didn't sound as if they were the dialogue from a $20 porno I like I said I know that hard-core paranormal romance lovers out there like myself will understand all too well what I mean about the difference in well-written sex scenes. Those who really don't care and they're just reading it for I don't know what then you probably won't have any trouble with the last few books that I tried to read. I have yet to be able to finish them enough to put a review of on good reads yeah I will though as soon as I'm in the mood to bleach my ears. :-) No really I just moved on and will come back to the others later if for no other reason than to be able to write a review because I have a rule that I have to at least get through one third, if not the end of the book in order to be able to properly write a review for so that is lazy. Some books have two star reviews are one star reviews with no written words. Those are the ones that I just could not under any circumstances force myself to either read or listen to, too the end. I do apologize for this rather long, and ranting review. I just was really shocked by how much I actually enjoyed this particular book and I'm quite sad to not be able to hear more about Victor and Becca's relationship with one another. There again. That's my little peeve of character attachments it's head Many thanks the author for a very entertaining read
This was a very good story. I liked Becca and Vikter...even though I was a rather frustrated with Vikter when he was being dense.
Becca is a BBW that's also the sister of Charlotte (the heroine from book #7, There's Snow Escape). They both grew up with parents that didn't give them much love and while Becca hasn't had issues with hooking up with horrible men, she also hasn't been able to find one that works for her. When Charlotte finds love with 2 shifters, Becca decides to go with Gerri to visit her sister.
Vikter is a leader of the dragon shifters on the shifter planet of Aurora. He's had issues finding his mate and unlike other shifters, when a dragon shifter can't find his mate, he slowly loses his connection with his dragon until they both die from it. Although Vikter asked the matchmaker Gerri for help, Vikter has gotten to the point of accepted his death and plans to pass on leadership to his younger sister when he dies.
Becca visits Aurora and stayed with her sister who lives close to the dragon territories. She doesn't realize there are dragon shifters at first but makes friends with Vikter's sister, Razzy, and is invited to their castle by her. Razzy has been trying to get Vikter interested in anything that will give him the will to live and although the first meeting between Vikter and Becca doesn't go smoothly, Razzy isn't above trying to get Vikter interested in Becca. Vikter is interested but the main issue is that although Becca is a mate for Vikter, he's so disassociated from his dragon, his dragon can't communicate with him well enough to let him know that it recognizes Becca as theirs. Vikter wants her but doesn't think it's fair to get involved just to die on her so there's a lot of hot and cold messages going on between them. Becca is very attracted to Vikter and falls for him pretty quickly but she won't put up with being emotionally abused. Since Vikter doesn't want her pity, he hasn't told her the whole story so Becca doesn't know the true issues that's keeping Vikter from giving her more. There's some drama and misunderstandings but eventually things do get straightened out and the story ends with a very nice HEA for the pair.
I enjoyed this story very much. I really liked Becca and felt bad for the issues she had to deal with. Despite my frustration with Vikter, I liked him as well...I just wanted to kick him in the butt from time to time for being dense. I was very happy with the way things worked out though and overall I liked the story and would recommend it (and the series). :)
Yeah, things change up a bit in this book! It is interesting to see a shifter who does not sense his mate right away. It adds a whole other level of depth to things. You also get to see them fall in love without the dragon deciding things for them.
Rebecca is Charlotte’s sister and here for a visit. Well, that is what she thinks, Gerri sees her as her next romantic match. She is much like the other gals in the series, likeable, but pretty much the same ole same ole. The smexy is on point, as always. Expect to feel scorching heat and have the snuggle buddy at the ready. There are some really steamy scenes that are worthy of bookmarking!
Lauren Sweet is a delightful narrator who continues to shine in these reads. I enjoy her so much with this author I am looking at her other reads as well. Definitely brings the story to life and moves the pace perfectly!
I do enjoy this series and am happy to see things change up a little. I am eager to see what happens next back here on Earth.
Dragons! I so do love dragons! Viktor was sexy, mysterious, and oh so fricken frustrating! I wanted to smack him more than once and then ravish him. He can be an ass but then he can be sweet and a bit dirty. Becca’s very sassy and funny. I love how open to things she is and adventurous. She balances Viktor really well. “My goal in life is to find a man who will love me like Gomez loves Morticia.” I think that’s a great goal to have! Every woman should aspire to this! The imagery Milly Taiden creates in this world is amazing. It makes me as the reader feel like I’m there. I adore this new world and can't wait for the next book!
Definitely worth the wait ... Milly promised dragons and she delivered. .. Vikter and Becca's story was definitely an emotional roller-coaster... My heart was breaking and their were definite tears shed for them... Gerri is a life saver again and keeps another shifter leader from meeting a lonely end. .. These books are HOT and I am absolutely addicted to this series, can't wait for the next one...
This is my favorite PDA story to date! I love the tortured hero, and Vikter certainly was that. And of course, Milly always writes strong heroines who don't take ish from anyway, even the men they love. And Becca was no exception. The sex scenes in Milly's books are always out of this world, no pun intended. I highly recommend this one, even if you haven't had a chance to read the other stories in the series. Two big thumbs up.
*I received this book in exchange for an honest review* Ok, let's keep it simple. 1. I love this series. 2. I love dragons. 3. I love Gerri! 4. Why are you not reading this series? I mean seriously, they are short, quick, fun, sexy, burn your panties and use a mop reading! You could quite possibly read book 1-8 in 1 day, and still have time to go use your BOB in between each one! They are all stand alone and you should be running to get them all now!
“If I only had one day to live, I’d still choose to spend it loving you.” She kissed him again. Harder. Deeper. There would be no dying for her dragon. It was time to live. She pulled back and smiled. “I love you, you big, grumpy dragon.” He laughed. “So many nice words coming out of your beautiful mouth.” He caressed her face, hooking his hand around her neck and holding her still. “I love you, Becca. I love your sass, your humor, and most of all, I love your heart.”
I've read a few of these books and what bothers me is the way the women talk about themselves and how big they are and the issues they have around it. It's unnecessary to be in every freaking book. It's annoying to read and I've read five of them just to see if that theme is in a very single one. I wont be wasting m time with any more of her books until she stops making the heroine have low self esteem or make their weight the focus of every thought
Is a standalone, amazing, loved it! Who don't live Millys books? This one just want you to jump in and be apart of it, the characters are a little cranky which makes it funny as all get out, the sex is well described, and the humor is where it doesn't matter where you at or who u are with, you bust out laughing....amazing book.
I loved this one so much! I am a huge dragon fan so I have been waiting for Vikter's book since the last book and was so excited when Milly annouced his book was next. And Vikter did not disappoint at all and his mate Becca is just as kick ass as Vikter's dragon is. She didn't take his crap at all. I can't wait for the next book in this Sexy Shifter series. 5/5 Bloody Fangs
This book is so awful I have burned the author's name into the deep recesses of my mind so I am never ever tempted to pollute my eyes with trash like this in the future. Writing? Terrible. Characters? Uninteresting, boring, stupid. Plot? We don't need no stinking plot. Just awful. I weep for the trees that might have died to create this travesty for me had it not been an book.
I love this series. It's a fun hot enjoyable read. I really loved the story of these two. I only wish the story was longer so we could get to enjoy more of the story. I've loved all the Milly Taiden books I've read so far. I hope she writes more shifter series like this one.
Milly is one click author. I love that her female characters are relatable. Her books are just fun reads that allows you to leave your world for a couple hours.
When I started this series I started with book one and have worked my way up. I have loved each and every book in this series but have to say that this by far is my favorite. I think it is the one that had touch me the most. To top that off I loved the claiming mark that the author used for the dragon. As we know in the previous book that the bear and cat shifters scratch. the Wolf shifters bite but let me tell you I think the dragon was the most unique one of all. Sorry you will have to read the book to find out more on the claiming mark.
My heart truly broke for Vikter. I actually shed a few tears for him. As you know by the previous book that Vikter is dying. Once a dragon shifter reaches a certain age and has not found his mate his dragon starts to disconnect. This causes the shifter to die.
I can not imagine the hurt, fear, loneliness, bitterness, and anger that Vikter must of felt. The thought that there was not a mate out there for him. The fact that he had to die and leave his sister alone. And that fact that he just got his best friend back and had to leave him. It just seemed wrong on so many levels. Vikter’s pain truly broke my heart.
I had used the whispersnyc with this book. I have to say that the narrator done and amazing job on letting you truly hear the emotion in her voice. You could hear Vikter’s pain and you could even heart the desperation in his friends and family that begged him not to give up.
I loved Razzy in this story. We had got to now her though the previous book and loved her in that story as well. She is Vikter’s baby sister. She is hard headed, has a bubbly personality, and has enough hope for her and Vikter.
It was good to see that Rebecca was chosen for this story. She was Charlotte’s sister who was already in Aurora. Rebecca was this curvy, sassy, and sweet person. I just loved her personality. She was one that you could not dare because she would feel the need to do the dare.
Rebecca had the fascination with dragons. Though she believed in shifters she did not believe there were dragon shifters. She truly was perfect for Vikter.
I loved that Rebecca did not back down to Vikter. She shown she was not afraid of him and was very quick to put him in his place. I believe this was what Vikter need to wake him up. He need this spit fire to give him a little hope.
Oh, Rebecca is going to have her work cut out for her. Vikter is so cut off from his dragon that he does not know his mate is standing before him. He is hurting her over and over again with his hot and cold attitude.
I hated Vikter’s cousin Drayken and Vikter’s aunt Laina. I have a feeling we have not heard the last of these two in this series.
There is several steamy parts in this book. I have to say the part I loved the most was how Rebecca saved Vikter, healed his heart, and gave him hope again. This was truly an amazing story.
Rebecca is on a trip to another world to visit her sister Charlotte who has settled there. She initially had hoped to find herself another shifter like her sister who was loving and sweet, but instead, she is attracted to a big fiery dragon who is insistent he is not looking for love but could melt her panties off with his sexy body. Dragon Vikter Dragos is dying unless he can find his mate and although he is trying desperately to fight his attraction to sassy and curvy Rebecca he cannot stay away from her. If only she were his mate life would have been perfect - instead, he is losing control and contact with his dragon. Becca is just confused - one minute he is kissing her like the world is going to end, the next he is cold and distant - doing his best to drive her away. However, when competition for her appears, he needs to get his feelings under control and understand what is happening before he loses her forever!
I found this story confusing. On the one side, it was a really sweet story of an attraction between Becca and Viktor, and on the other, he was so annoying I was almost at the point of giving up reading the story. However, I am glad I stuck with it as I would have missed all the drama and excitement of the rival for Becca's attention and the effect it had on Viktor. Contains explicit sexual content.
Absolutely wonderful! Milly Taiden has once again taken us on an adventure of a lifetime, as she brings Becca to visit with her sister Charlotte, on the beautiful planet of Aurora. Little does Becca know, but Gerri the shifter matchmaker, has an alternative motive for hauling Becca over the magical pathway to the land of shifters. Vikter is on his last legs, feeling the separation from his dragon grow day by day. He knows he only has a short time left, perhaps even as little as a few days, and yet he still hasn't found his mate. Will Gerri be able to find her for him? And even if he did find her at this point in time, will it be soon enough? Or will his dragon finally break the ties and die off? Becca is tired of being alone. She wants nothing more than to find a man who will truly love her, all of her, including all of her rolls and dips and hips. She knows she will always be a big girl, and she loves her body, now if she can only find a man who will love it as much or more. Since she was a little girl, she's obsessed about dragons, wishing they were real. Now that would be awesome. If only she knew what Gerri has in store for her! Love this series and the fact that so many types of shifters are represented. Bring on the next one please.

I really love this story and i like that Milly Taiden makes her characters especially the female characters not look like a skinny model but a full figured women. In this installment we get Dragons and boy was it good.
