Jillian Snyder lives outside of Rochester, NY, with her herd of rescued critters, which includes bunnies, guinea pigs, and a chinchilla. She has a longtime love of languages, and she gets to work with words every day in her job as an interpreter. She is fluent in American Sign Language and also has over a decade of French under her belt. She is an avid reader, loves comedy, and has a not-so-secret passion for the music of the late Freddie Mercury.

She is the epitome of a Gemini personality, and she often speaks well before she thinks. She has been a vegetarian for nearly twelve years and is a fan of earth-friendly and fair trade products and clothing. Jillian hopes that someday the world will wise up and all people will be able to marry whomever they want, wherever they want. She has been threatening to write a book for quite a while, and she doesn’t make idle threats.
