Not many books are written to be read by people with a large vocabulary, I imagine it is frustrating for a writer to dumb down the books they write and in this book that is not the case. I found that refreshing. This book, while raucous and titillating, was written well and descriptively. Anyone who reads books in this genre take delight in description, much like horror and gore fans love the excess, so to do fans of erotic romance novels. Readers will thoroughly enjoy the comfort the author has with the subject matter in Truth and Consequence.
The book reads like a whirlwind, and rightfully so, as the story is a tornado of emotion, sex and torrid thoughts written out in ways no movie can ever compare with. Our characters are prone to calling each other different names and it will be a while before the reader finds out why, further Elena and Alexander speak directly to the reader, as if they are simply journaling their days and we are being allowed a naughty peek while they step from out of the picture, though I suspect they enjoy others reading their tales. It’s the perfect fantasy for the audience, with chiseled bodies and masculine overture the truth is that the book is a welcome distraction and the consequence is losing hours of time in this novel – though like our characters, there are no regrets for our actions, reading this book is a delight to the senses.
I will say the book could use another once over for editing, as there are grammatical errors interspersed and some words that read awkwardly, however, I couldn’t tell you where, as it is only noticed in passing. If you are a grammar nazi this might irritate you, since I read for content – it is only a footnote of warning for those that are annoyed by this. DO NOT let that stop you from reading it though, as the story will sweep you up like Alex does Elena and it won’t turn you loose until it is well finished with you.

Alex and Elana are such a captivating couple. I don't often read M/F but when I do, I want to read something unique that draws me in. The way this book is writing in first person in something that called to me. I love Alex's bigger than life attitude even though he is arrogant at times, and I especially like his love and lust for Elana. A lot of romances start with a couple meeting and then ends when they get together without ever getting to see the happily ever after. However, with this series Alex and Elana cannot get enough of each other. Though tested, their love and desire for one another never fades. This novel was extremely well written and the BDSM scenes were hot. I recommend it to anyone who loves M/F BDSM and erotic romance. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Best trilogy ever
I loved all three of the books it was awesome it had the right amount of sex , the storyline was amazing and kept flowing good I loved how all three books never changed the chat trees and stuck true to the beginning of this trilogy Elena and Alex is the best book couple ever

I loved the series by JR king. Truly defined the limits of obsession, and the reader enjoyed the ride. I was hoping she would do a standalone on Sarah and Michael. I felt she left a lot of questions not answered by them. Great conclusion to the series. Excellent writing.
