Enjoyable

I thoroughly enjoyed the way this story has been told to date. I mean it was both current and made you think and remember things of the past. It was a great tribute to the men and women of our armed forces. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.

This is the second book in this series of Walking among the Shadows ,the first book was called Walking among the Shadows :Awakening which was amazing story ,and well this second book is just as amazing as the first was it has the same momentum and appeal that will hold you tight in it's pages from start to finish. This author has amazing way with writing and tell a strong story with even stronger characters. It just keeps growing in this second book.Aiden has learned that his own father may not be dead as he previously thought. Aiden is very happy to learn that not all is family may not be gone and he just may be able to see his dad again. He has to make a tough decision regarding him trying to fine his father ,who has been captured. Ever if Aiden is brave, he decides to take on a dangerous mission of finding his father, but Aiden needs help but the only help he can fine is his brother and a group of men with mystery talents, that could cost him more then he expects. But can Manny step up and be the man that Aiden needs him to be. Aiden has scarifies a lot for his family only to fine out that their were betrayed by someone closed to them. I could go on and tell you more about this amazing story ,but that would spoil the story for you. I highly recommend that you read this great series you won't you be disappointed.

I was very impressed with this book. I was quite pleased to see that the second book in this series had the same momentum and appeal as the first book. We are treated with a continuation of Aiden and Jasmine's story. These two have a relationship/connection that was apparent in the first book. It keeps growing into the second book. Aiden learns that his father may not be dead, as he previously thought. Aiden is very happy to discover that not all of his family is gone and he may be able to see his dad again. He must make a tough decisions regarding trying to find his father, as Aiden learns he was captured. Aiden is very brave and decides to take on a very dangerous mission to find his dad. In order to do this, Aiden needs help. Unfortunately for Aiden, the only help he can find is in the form of his brother and a mysterious group of men with certain talents. These talents may cost more than Aiden can pay. Manny never seems to step up and be the man that Aiden needs him to be, much to my dismay. Aiden makes sacrifices for his family only to learn that his family was betrayed by someone close to them. This betrayal causes the control Aiden has over the darkness within himself to become fragile. I cannot wait to see what will happen in the next installment.

This book starts off grabbing your attention and never lets you down. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Aiden has a lot of life changing experiences in the span of a few years. His relationship with Jasmine is growing, he is checking out colleges with his best friend Tony and then he finds out his father is alive, or may be alive.... Of course what else can he do but agree to join with his brother Manny on a dangerous mission to rescue their father. Along the way he meets Manny's team, a team of Baraqu with extraordinary gifts, but, as he finds out, they come at a cost, and he is angered when he finds out why. During his mission Aiden finds out who the traitor is that caused his father to get captured. The betrayal hits him hard. Also, during his mission the evil side of his blood is released that may just destroy the world.... Can anyone stop him.

Such a terrific book. I anxiously await the next book.

Amazing Read

I gave this book five stars because it was well deserved. Every chapter had me wanting more. This book seemed so real I was afraid to turn to the next page. This author seems to amaze me at how he can make something so fake seem so realistic. I am so hoping the next chapter is in the making. I have spent endless nights reading this book and it was well worth it. I recommend this book to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

I got an Arc copy for an honest review and it was a good reading so I gave it 4 stars.

So the story continues and the plot keeps getting better.  The kids find out who they are and falling even more in love.  The story continues to grab you from the beginning. I also think that the action and suspense is awesome and I also enjoyed the storyline very much.  You get to learn more about the history of the war going on and meet more characters to the story as well.
