Mated to the Alpha Box 1

Rate this book
There are normal random life events, like falling in love with a stranger, and then there is "having your first gay experience with with an (admittedly very sexy) Alpha werewolf and ending up pregnant" kind of random.

Ethan is a normal guy, until he is hired to entertain the werewolves during the annual Mating Ball. He goes in expecting to have a good nigth and make some extra money on the side. What he doesn't expect is for one of the Alpha wolves to show an interest in him.

Max, a succesful entrepreneur and one of the top Alpha's in the city, has been getting pressure from his all sides to find a mate, settle down and prove his Alpha genes. Only, he has no interest in doing any of those things, until he meets Ethan. He wants nothing else than to take Ethan as his mate, even if the man insists that he is straight.

After a wirlwind night, they are both left stunned the next morning as they wake up to a very special surprise...

Find out how Max and Ethan deal with the news and then try to figure out how to deal with this surprise in a world that seems hell bend on making everything difficult for them.

This box set includes the first four stories in the Mated to the Alpha series: Omega's Fate, Omega's Home, Omega's Pack and Omega's Bond.
This series contains an innocent human, a sexy alpha, naughty scenes and Mpreg (male pregnancy).

Oof.

That rating is my Christmas gift to the Author...because if I weren't feeling generous today, it would have been 2 Stars.

I made a lot of notes on all the things that irritated, frustrated, and generally pissed me off - and when I'm not being lazy I'll add them to this review. Can't be bothered right now.

The full series has been released in eight parts, and this compilation covers the first four installments. Unfortunately. I would say this series stars out very strong, but slides into sex separated by brief expositions of major events in the life of a male impregnated by a powerful alpha werewolf. The series starts strong, with compelling introductions to the characters, a nicely hesitating journey towards a physical connection, and the tabloid fall-out of hooking up with a celebrity swamping an unsuspecting "normal" guy.

Since I'm a fan of mpreg stories and I don't have to pay separately for individual entries (thanks to Kindle Unlimited), I don't mind going through the serial entries. Unfortunately, if I had to pay for each release, I would probably stop after the third or fourth. (4 stars for the start of the series, dropping to 2 for the lack of story in the later parts, but all with steamy-enough sex and mpreg events)

Max and Ethan meet at a party. They have unprotected sex. Ethan is pregnant. Max is some billionaire shifter. And the press is all over these two. Ethan goes through a lot of changes. From being straight, to gay, to pregnant, to living with a billionaire. I had fun reading this. In every part there is sex and the development between the couple is nice to read. But it is no more than a Harlequin romance novel. I happen to love Harlequin romance novels, so I had fun. But it does not deserve more than 3 stars. Also the sex is kind of repetitive. No real variation. But the box is easy to read and entertaining enough.

Actually wasn't too bad... glad I waited for the full story (hiding on my shelf for a while oops) with no irritating breaks in the story.. so, what's next for them.. time to find out with the rest of the story

Oh, and I didn't quite understand the thing between Ethan and his mother. My brain on hiatus? Something with the aunt and dad and mom hating werewolves and Ethan having to earn her love. Was that supposed to mean that one of them was werewolf and they mated? Cus it's not spelled out you just have to guess at the meaning.

Ah, gee, what a nice little series. I would recommend buying the Box set as to the individual ones because you can go from one straight to the other. So it reads more like an entire book with chapters. This way it reads like an entire book with chapters and not have to wait to buy the next one.

It's a nice romance between an Alpha, Max and a human, Ethan, who has magic in his family line to be able to have a baby. I'm excited to start the Box 2 series today. I love the series.

I like this series. These stories are well written. The characters are slowly getting to know each other. There is no violence. There is a lot of graphic sexual scenes. Looking forward to the next part.

This is a newish genre to me and I'm liking this series so far! Max and Ethan met at a party and are drawn to each other immediately. Ethan tries to deny the feelings and the attraction he has to Max but the pull is to strong. It leads to a night that changes everything.

My main gripe is the slight editing errors throughout the books. Mostly grammatical errors like tense and singular vs. plural.
