‘A tense psychological thriller that delivered everything you would expect and so much more’

‘The follow on from Angels Bleed was fantastic, gripping, exciting and at times fascinatingly shocking!’

‘I couldn't put it down. Some quite graphic details in parts and lots of twists an turns. A brilliant author! Can't wait until next year for the next episode.'

Now read the thrilling conclusion to the Fallen Angels trilogy, ‘Murder Path’.

The Man Who Makes Murderers

The mutilated body of a prominent politician is found in his country house. On the floor surrounding it, written with the body’s intestines are the words, ‘We are The Fallen Angels’.

DI John Saul and Rebecca Angus are on the run from the police. They have been implicated in the murders of two people from Saul’s last case, a case involving The Fallen Angels. A case where he found out about the ‘Man Who Makes Murderers’

When evidence is discovered that ties them to the murder of the politician, Saul and Angus set off on a path to discover who is trying to frame them.

A path that leads them into the debauched underworld of human existence.

A path that leads them to uncover shocking revelations about their past.

A path that leads them on a cat and mouse chase to stay one step ahead of the police.

A path that leads them to a man giving them a simple choice: kill or be killed.

A path that leads them to murder.

Max lives in the Scottish Borders with his wife, family, two cats and two dogs.

In 2008 he rediscovered a pile of notebooks in a box in a cupboard.  They were full of poems, drawings, short stories and other scribbles that he had written as a child and during his teens.  He decided it was time to pick up where he had left off in his teens and in 2009, compiled his first poetry collection, ‘Soul Whispers’, as a Christmas present for his wife Lilibeth.

In 2010 he started working on his first novel, picking up some ideas from the old notebooks.  Over the next three years he fleshed out the storylines for a trilogy and in 2013, published the first part, ‘Angels Bleed’.  ‘Her Moons Denouement’ was published in 2014 and the final part of the trilogy, ‘Murder Path’ was published in 2015.

He has also published a further two poetry collections, ‘My Dark Disease’ in 2012 and ‘The Alchemy Of Swaying Hips’ in 2014.

His next projects are a new poetry collection entitled ‘Catching Reflections’ and a new DCI Jeremiah Strange psychological thriller entitled ‘Voodoo Blood’.

Not for the faint hearted or easily confused

I LOVED this series of books! All 3 MUST be read one after the other as you will need to know answers! Not one for prudish folk and defo not one for the faint hearted but for the evil crazy horror/thriller fans such as myself it is a must read! Fyi they even made me cringe! That takes some doing! Plus it has been left wide open for a sequel series!

Just finished part three of this series. Brilliant written with lots of twists and turns to keep you interested. This last book explains everything and more, neat twist at the end. It keeps the reader interested and enthralled with the characters who you get to know very well and the story line is fast moving and can change at anytime.
Max hardy bas done a lot of research into this scientific story and at times I had to 're read to ensure I knew and understood what was being said.
If you want a good thriller, can be blood thirsty at times but it's part of the story line, that keeps you on you toes then this book could be for you.

I was so excited when i got this book, and couldnt wait to start it, I really enjoyed the first two books in this series, though I did find them a bit shocking, but the story line was so strong that it over rode those parts, with this one i found that the shocking parts, over rode the story which for me was a shame, it could be down to my age, but it seemed to be mostly what i can only describe as written porn, yet the ending was brilliant, which could mean it will lead on to another book in this series, unfortunately not for me, it was definitely a step to far this time.
