Uprising (fallen from grace 2) By Kate Bonham
After reading Fate book one in this series, I knew that Kate was an author to watch out for, her writing is so descriptive and really takes you on a journey into the paranormal. Uprising picks up 23 years after Fate in the year 2038.
Uprising is Chael’s Story, Chael had a horrible childhood and went through things that should only happen in nightmares, but after training with Ace and Sidriel he has turned his life around and become a faithful servant to Ace and is also the only one that Ace trusts to find and return his daughter to him.
Fairlee has been missing for 23 years and has no idea of who her parents are and what she descends from, she is powerful and fearless just like her Mom was and when she meets Chael she is unprepared for how he is going to turn her life upside down. Fairlee (Lee) had a simple normal life with her Uncle Sam until Chael literally fly’s in and changes all that.
Neither Fairlee nor Chael are prepared for how their feelings develop or how strong of a bond they have, both will do everything and anything to protect the other.
Uprising is a story through the realms of Heaven, Hell, Purgatory and Earth, it has the Arch Angels, Fallen Angels, demons, Vampires and even a mermaid and the president thrown into the mix, it covers true unbreakable love, discovery and strong family values.
I loved falling in love with these characters as Fairlee discovers the truth and embraces who she is inside and I really felt the love story as it developed between the two main characters……..in typical Kate style though uprising leaves on a dramatic cliff-hanger leaving you desperate for more.
I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for book three in this series as I need to know what happens next in this outstanding paranormal romance.

After reading Fate book one of the Fallen from Grace series I was hooked and was so shell shocked by the ending that I knew I had to read Uprising.
This book takes place many years after Fate and continues the story of what happened to Ace's daughter Fairlee (Lee) who was kidnapped as a child by some of the Fallen that have turned traitor and Chael who is sent to earth to try and find her.
Lee has no idea who or what she is and has no clue about her powers until Chael shows up and shows her what happened to her when she touches him. They become attracted to each other and they fall in love.
They have to fight enemies from all sides as they battle to save Earth from the evil of rogue Fallen, Demons from Hell and even Arcs from Heaven try to get their hands on her!
Many gut wrenching moments and an ending that keeps me wanting more once again.
I was not disappointed in this story at all, Kate Bonham takes you on a twisting spiral of a ride that leaves you stunned and wanting more!
Well deserves my 5 stars from a great author.

Man, I don't know which I love more this one or book 1.. This one is set further into the future.. Fairlee is now an adult and her Father is still searching for her..... Chael well let me just say omg HAWT!

Really enjoyed reading this book. This is set many years into the future from the first one. You get to see what came of the characters and you get to meet new ones and fall in love with those just like the original characters!! Great writing by the author. I would definitely recommend this book!

Good storyline
I'm enjoying the unique storyline and really like the characters. But the abrupt end of this one was very strange. It seemed a little odd and I'm really confused. I realize they come in installments but it wasn't a cliffhanger or even at a very dramatic moment.
Hopefully the next book will come out soon

A well written story that will keep you wanting to read page after page until the end. This story will suck you in.

This book had me on such a emotional rollercoaster, that I don't think I have or will recover from.
This installment is set in the future from where Fate left off.
Chael is a watcher in purgatory given the task of tracking down Ace's long lost daughter Fairlee. But when he finally finds her his plans goes askew.
Lee has been raised by over protective uncle's until one faithful night puts on a path to discover her true identity.
Will Lee be able to stand strong when her world comes crashing down is Chael strong enough to hold her up.
Amazing second installment can't wait to read finale

It has taken me a while to read Uprising..That I blame on Kate. Before you gasp and such Its Kates fault because Fallen the first book broke my heart and took me on a emotionally charged journey i wasn't prepared for but loved and still now it breaks my heart and i have read it 4 times.....Anyway Uprising book 2.... Tore me apart anew and rebuilt me. Kate is an amazing writer her worlds, her characters are so complex and so full of depth and emotion that you will forget its a book and you will feel right alongside them. Join Chael and Lee in their battle of truths loss love and finding themselves and each other. Kates Fallen from grace series is set to set the reading world on fire.BUT beware you are going to need tissues this book will break you down and build you up just to do it all over again and you will love every minute of it!!. Kate will leave you hanging on to her world and hungrily waiting for book 3.
