I Love anthologies, it's the bestest way to meet new authors and savor the ones you already know. Although there are many awesome authors in this collection, I’ll be focusing my review on J.A. Derouen’s Fire Over Frost.
“Our souls were like opposing magnets, the attraction stronger than either of us could resist.”

Emmett Fontaine serendipitously found the one a few days before he was moving to continue with his career, or so he thought. After a few days of intensity and passion, and what for him felt like love, Annie shoved him out of her life leaving him heartbroken. Fate interferes again when he goes back home to visit his family for the holidays, cornering him in to sharing the same building. Can he get past his hurt in order to get the answers he couldn’t get five years ago? Especially now that he comes face to face with not just Annie but also a little mini version of her?
“She was a tornado, swooping into my life and pulling me into her current… but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Like all natural disasters, she spit me back onto the dirt, my maimed heart lying beside me, barely pumping.”

Annie Frederick made the biggest mistake of her existence when she vanished Emmett from her life without explanation. But he’s back, taunting her with what she had been missing. Will she be brave enough to reveal her secrets or will she keep shutting out because losing him again would be unbearable?
“Is it possible to love a little girl I’ve only seen once?”

I would love to delve more into this sweet and mushy story, but I don’t want to give much more away. J.A. is an author that makes me enjoy every single word she writes and I was truly excited when I found out she would be giving us this small story within a series I’ve enjoyed very much.
“I wanted to burn for someone… for them to burn for me... Then I met you.”

Frost Over Fire is novella #3.5 in J.A. Derouen’s Over series. It’s a wonderful addition to it the series and can be read as a standalone. It’s a contemporary second chance romance, told from both points of view with a sugary sweet ending. I can’t wait to read the rest of the stories in this anthology.

* A review copy of ALWAYS US was provided by Stephanie Rose in exchange for an honest review *

~ 5 Stars ~

A Full Review for ALWAYS US

Always Us is a holiday short story involving Lucas and Sam (The couple in book 1 Always You). I absolutely loved this little story. It's always great reconnecting with a favorite couple years down the road to see how they weather things in the future.

Lucas and Sam, like I said are the Hero and heroine from Book 1 of Stephanie Rose's Second Chance Series. I fell in love with these two in that book and my heart grew even more for them after reading this story. What I loved about this story was that Stephanie wrote about this couple 7 years after the end of their story. It was like an extended epilogue revolved around the Christmas Holiday.

In this book Lucas and Sam's daughter is now a 14 year old teenager and they have a 3 year old son, who is attached to mommy's hip. What was great about this was that Stephanie showed real things that happen in a real life married couples life. What happens when you 14 year old daughter gets asked out on a date and your 3 year old son won't leave mommy alone long enough for some quality parent time?? Find out how Lucas and Sam handle things, read this really sweet holiday story.

So if you're looking for a holiday short story to pass a couple hours with, pick up Always Us and enjoy getting to know Lucas and Sam. If you have already read Always You, then I would suggest you pick this up and reconnect with Lucas and Sam :)

I was honored and blessed to be able to read Always Us, Stephanie Rose's contribution to Hot for the Holidays. I was reminded again of how sweet and hot Lucas Hunter from Always You is, and fell in love with the story of what comes after happily ever after. I loved seeing Bella as a teenager, Joey as a preschooler and having an intimate glimpse into Sam and Lucas' marriage!
I have been blessed to read Unwrapped by MC Decker as well. Catching up with Rich Davis is always a treat, and of course Ms. Decker's writing style had me hooked right of the bat. Racing against time to make it home to his wife and children in time for Christmas Rich faces all sorts of obstacles and road blocks. Brooke is home with their 3 children, trying to fight off her sadness of not having her love there, but luckily her best friend Cass is by her side to cheer her (and us!) up. Filled with humor and MC's signature sultry scenes this is another hit!
I've also been honored with the task of reading Gia Riley's contribution to this amazing compilation! Drifting is the story of Kipton and Sophie's first Christmas/New Year's together. They, along with Cara and Drew, embark on a road trip to New York City and face all sorts of trouble along the way. As with anything involving Cara this story had me laughing out loud at times. There were points of sadness but nothing overwhelming, and scenes filled with lust. I've been a fan of Ms. Riley since her debut novel, and she did not disappoint with this short story!
I can't wait to read all the other stories and will update my review as I go along!

I was so excited to read an arc copy of Drifting by Gia Riley. My love for Kipton borders on obsession. She totally had me belly laughing in this one. This is a feel good, laugh out loud story that will have tears running down your face. I swear I wanted to be in that car on this holiday road trip with them so bad. There are so many comical moments as well as a few hot ones. Of which I totally loved, given they involved Kipton and Sophie. I totally loved getting a little more of these two along with the hilarious Cara and Drew. Gia once again made me laugh and swoon. Drifting definitely hit the 5 star mark for me! I'm beyond excited for what the wonderful Gia Riley brings us next.

Review for Love In Motion by R.E. Hunter

4.5 “one thing” “Mile Long Club” “Vera” Kisses

If you think the majestic awesomeness in the Disclosure Series ends with Luke and Embry…you are sorely mistaken. From the moment I heard that R.E. Hunter was going to write a short story about Morgan and Brett, there was no doubt in my mind that I had to read it. And I’m so glad I did because I don’t think I could have enjoyed it more if I tried.

Morgan Maxwell…I always had a deep love for this girl. In Undone and Unbroken I fell for her because of her relationship with Embry and for all the amazing ways she helped her. I think it’s impossible not to get emotionally attached the characters who love the heroines/hero's that I love because…well, they’re obviously incredibly intelligent, have fantastic taste and are awesome – duh! But Morgan is in a class of her own. Her humor is and will always be one of my most favoritest thing ever about her…that girl can crack me up without even trying that hard…and when she actually does try, I’m pretty much in tears from laughing. Going through the journey of being a bridezilla is something I can totally relate to and seeing her meltdowns made my appreciation for Morgan grow in leaps and bounds.

‘I tried like hell to talk him out of it. I went through all five stages of grief—I might still be struggling with acceptance—and lingered a bit too long on bargaining. I’m not entirely proud of myself. I might have frightened him with a few of my offers, but who wants to be crammed on a train with a bunch of crazy strangers for three days and two nights right before their wedding?’

Brett Parker...*SWOON ALERT* - Southern Sexy is not the only boy to make me drool in this series ladies. Once again, just like with Morgan, I knew enough about him to know he was kick ass…but his level of kick assness was what blew me away. Brett has a different kind of charm…it’s hard to really explain…he’s got the All American thing down and seriously, I’m as lost as Morgan when it comes to his smile but there is just a little something extra that does all the right things to me. He is possibly one of the sweetest BBF’s I’ve ever encountered and I love without end his care and devotion to Morgan…it melted my heart every single time. He’s playful and funny…but he knows how to turn on that sex appeal and good sweet Lord, I just wanted to lick him. Often. I definitely did not get enough of Brett…

The corner of his mouth twitches. “Not too small to start our cross-country bucket list, though, is it?”
“Cross-country bucket list?” Oh, God.
“Mmmhmm.” His eyes flicker with mischief as his hands lazily explore my curves. “We have an exclusive club to join. And I have a list of ways I want to fuck you across the country.”
His words send a shiver of desire up my spine, and before I can respond, his mouth is on mine, hungry and demanding. Every worry I have melts into oblivion as his tongue pushes past my lips. My future husband can be very persuasive when he wants. Especially with his mouth.’

Most couples need to have a good balance to them for them to work…in this case, Morgan is the type-A, organized to within an inch of her life bride and Brett is the laid back, go with the flow, easy breezy groom – and it totally works for them. She gets herself worked up and Brett swoops in to calm her down. Even though Love in Motion is a short story, I still felt I got a really good feel for who they are together…the little nuances that make them unique and quirky and insanely loveable. Obviously I could have read hundreds of pages of their antics because it ranged from hilarious to sexy to even a slight twinge of angst – but it was all delivered perfectly. I am notorious for always wanting more from books – even full length novels, I never want them to end, what can I say, I’m a clinger! But even with this being a quick read, I can’t honestly remember ever loving a short story as much as I did this one.

“I—” I choke back a sob and take a deep breath, trying to rein in my emotions. “What did you do?”
He grins up at me.
I kneel in front of him and swat at his chest. “You stupid, swoony, son of a bitch. What are you doing?”
“I love you, Morgan. Through the ups and the downs, the good and the bad. I want to be there for every bit of it.”

R.E Hunter knocked it out of the park with this one – makes me want more from the Disclosure Series *hint hint* and that little quick taste of Luke and Embry that she snuck in was amazing!!!!! If you love yummy, sweet men, hilariously awesome heroines and just happiness in general, then you have to read this story. I L-O-V-E-D it!

Always Us By Stephanie Rose

I was very excited and honored to receive an ARC, of Always Us by Stephanie Rose I love Lucas and Sam, they are one of my Favorites couples. This book is so full of Love it will definitely melt your heart. Two people just trying to get some alone time with no interruptions seems pretty hard sometimes. Lucas is so sweet, and I love how he adores Bella their relationship is so sweet, he would do anything for her, and she really looks up to him, they are so close, he is such an amazing Dad. Getting to see Bella all grown up and as teenager well that just warmed my heart. Little Joey was sweet, he made me laugh. Thanks for giving us a little more of Sam and Lucas, I missed them. Poor Rich away on business, he will have to move heaven and earth to get home in time for Christmas, to be with his family. The twins are adorable, and little Brendan well he just melts my heart. I can honestly say I don't think I will ever look at candy canes the same way, that was so hot. Cassidy is so awesome, love her sassy little mouth, what a great best friend, she is so funny, she always cracks me up with the things she says. Love Rich and Brooke, not only are they in love, but are still hot for each other.

Always Us by Stephanie Rose-
So glad we got more of Lucas and Sam. Love these two. You get to see them face the troubles all parents face with having a family. Balancing being a parent and being a wife/husband. You will get to fall in love with their love story all over again.
Special Delivery by B.A. Wolfe-
This was a sweet story and had me laughing good and hard at times. Jase's little voice is so cute. Love that child! Then when Dan took is tumble. Lol! I'm so glad we got more of these two. Can't wait for Moose's book!
Keep Us by Faith Andrews
Oh how I adored seeing all these characters again. Also the multiple POV was amazing. I was mad that family got put on the back burner during this story. But OMG babies! Love it. Xoxo! This was so good to catch up on this series.

~I had the pleasure of reading an ARC of WHEN THE CLOCK STRIKES TWELVE by ELISABETH GRACE. She wrote Nother 5 star read with this short story. The author brought Max and Chloe back for us in a wonderful holiday story. It is the perfect mix of heartwarming love, fun and more than a dash of hot and steamy.

I always love Elisabeth Grace's writing and this is another beautifully written five star edition.

~I was so happy to receive and advanced copy of LOVE IN MOTION by R.E. HUNTER. It is a 5 star short story.

When planning their wedding Morgan gets to choose everything her heart desires down to the last detail. Brett's one thing...his choice, is a family tradition of a cross country train ride to the wedding ceremony destination. Will the trip derail their happiness or brings them closer together and makes tbem whole?

This is a wonderful holiday story about love and tradition.

~I was so happy to receive and advanced copy of FIRE OVER FROST by J.A. DEROUEN. I love her books! This is definitely a 5 star story.

This is a new short story in The Over Series. It takes place when Emmett Fontaine heads home, from his medical residency, to visit family over Christmas break. He runs right into Annie, the one that got away, and broke his heart. To his surprise and awe she has a beautiful little girl with pig tails. Is there something she forgot to tell him?

This is a wonderful story filled with rediscovery, love and wonderful humor. Brew a cup of cocoa and join some Over Series characters for some holiday fun.

-SECOND BEGINNINGS by KRISTY LOVE, 5 stars
I love Kristy's writing and this is another wonderful addition. It is a heartwarming short holiday story featuring secondary characters from some of her previous books. We also get to catch up with some of the previous primary characters. It was grest to read about them again.
It was great to see Courtney meet Chase and have a chance with a great guy. They have both made mistakes in their past and bring out the best in each other. Will one of their pasts ruin their future together?

-CHAMPAGNE KISSES by ELEANOR GREEN 5 stars
In Champagne Kisses we get a glimpse back at the beginnings of the adult love that Briley and Cooper share. They make promises to each other on New Year's Eve to be each other's first and only. I loved getting to glimpse back at them. To get to read their whole story I highly recommend the LoveStruck Series. Wait for Me and Stay with Me will give you a five star read and their whole journey.

What a great collection of short stories from the awesome Indie Chicks!

I absolutely loved catching up with some of my favorite characters from some of my favorite books...
Tessa and Marcus from Keep Me by Faith Andrews; Lucas and Samantha from Always You by Stephanie Rose; Peyton and Braelynn from the The Consensual Series by Livia Jamerlan; Remington and Selene from the Havoc series box setHavoc series by Autumn Grey; Briley and Cooper from Wait for Me and Stay with MeEleanor Green.

Ahhh, it made me miss them all!

I'm not one who needs to know everything about what a character is up to in the future, how a couple is doing, what's going on with them. But every once in awhile it is nice to get a peek into their lives, just to see what they are up to. And this anthology gives us that chance...as we get to cach up with our favorites as they are celebrating the holidays.

I still have a few of these short stories to read because I haven't read the novels the characters are from and didn't want to ruin anything for myself. But I loved the ones I did read, these ladies never disappoint!

My favorite time of year and nothing to get you in the mood than 21 Novella's all about that magical time of year known as The Holidays!!! My review will be focused on Flare by Autumn Grey.

This beautiful little gem of a novella opens none other than in bed with the sexiest Frenchman and his beautiful wife. Remington and Selene can’t seem to find enough time for making love and he is going to have her no matter how many children bang on their bedroom door. Yes, it’s just like old times in the Havoc series except this time around they have their children interrupting those leisurely love making sessions they use to have.

We meet all the characters that we loved in Havoc preparing for Christmas. Of course no book would ever be complete without a few trials and tribulations and Flare has the usual suspects to stir up the pot. The children are adorable and as with all children rule the house; although, Remington has his ways of making sure that he and Selene find some love making time for each other.

Taking somewhat of a center stage is Luc, Remington’s younger gorgeous brother; although, I don’t know how anyone could ever be as sexy, erotic and hot as Remington, but Luc is right up there in the melt your panties, hot as hell department. He is living the love life that every bachelor dreams of, but a woman that he hooks up with turns the tables on him. After an unforgettable night of hot as sin sex and with him still tied to the bed, she insults his pride and his manhood and then leaves him in the room. The “she devil” and the “red haired witch” as he so fondly refers to her left not only that room but an impression on Luc and he knows that he just has to find her, but first he has to find out who she is. The sex was just too good and he knows that there is something special about her.

If you loved Havoc, you will fall in love with Flare. It was so much fun to revisit and spend the holidays with all the characters that we became so fond of. Hopefully, we will find out about Luc and his “she devil” in the near future!!

I was honored to be given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

4 Estrellas!!

I was exited for three stories of this collection and those are the one I'm am reviewing.

First was A Ten Below Zero Christmas by Whitney Barbetti. At first I got scared because I don't know if is just me who think this way but to me once the authors types The End for me everything is just fine so I guess that's why it hit me hard at first because it got real like real life day to day struggle real but it was perfect, beautiful and it was so Parker and Everett and I loved it.

Next was Flare by Autumn Grey. It was so good, cute, fun and hot I absolutely love it. Remington as always so swoon worthy but God I can't wait for more Luc

Last but not least was Under the Mistletoe by Michelle Lynn it was so good to catch up a little more with Piper and Tanner's life and more truth or dare jajaja. I don't care which story comes first if it is Taylor and Brad or Bea and Dylan but they need to happen ASAP.

MC Decker was so generous in gifting an ARC of Unwrapped. It was great to delve back into Rich and Brooke's story and to get a little glimpse of their lives now. I absolutely loved this. It was sweet and sexy and the perfect accompaniment to this series. I am just waiting to see what the rest of this anthology has to offer. Will add more once I have read the other stories.

I was also given the opportunity to read R.E. Hunter's Love in Motion and absolutely loved this story as well. Love in Motion is a short story about secondary characters from the Disclosure series, Morgan and Brett. This story made me laugh out loud at both Brett and Morgan's antics. It was so fun and was definitely hot. I loved it! This is a must read for those who enjoyed the Disclosure series.

I was gifted an ARC from Autumn Grey for her book Flare. I absolutely loved it. I am a huge fan of the Havoc series so this was great to get a peek into the little family. Remington is just as swoon worthy as he is in Havoc and he is such a great dad to the new little bundle too. Selene still the mouthy vixen has so much love for her kids they are her world. Somehow Rem and Selene both make time for each other with their busy schedules even if it is only a 10 minute quicky. I also loved to get a glimpse of Remington's brother I have a feeling we will be seeing more of him. I can't wait to read more from Autumn. Please pickup your copy of this boxset their are so many great authors plus it is for a really good cause.

I love me a good anthology and the fact that I've read something from almost every author in this one made picking this up a no-brainer.

When the Clock Strikes Twelve by Elisabeth Grace

I fell hard and fast for Max and Chloe in Elisabeth's Indiscretion series and I was so happy to be able to catch up with them here. You don't have to read about their earlier journey in love before reading this short story about them but it surely won't hurt. This story was short and full of steaminess and sweetness.

Now this being Max & Chloe, things don't go quite according to plan. Circumstances outside of their control interfere this time and leave them stuck in a bind. Luckily they weren't completely alone. Some other favorites from Elisabeth Grace's Limelight series make a cameo and really up the fun atmosphere of what could've been a disaster. Of course, Max steps up big time. I loved his suggestion and was so glad Chloe got on board. And that Kirk absolutely had me in stitches with his over the top enthusiasm. It was the small details that pulled everything together and just in the nick of time. Happy New Year indeed!

Drifting by Gia Riley

Oh man- this short story had me in stitches. Kipton, Sophie, Cara and Drew from the Begin Again series are back and leaving laughter in their wake. Kippy and Drew were showing their sweet side and planned a great surprise getaway for the gang. But with this crew if its not one thing its another. If something could go wrong on this road trip it did.

It was great seeing Cara and Drew and how they played so well with and off of each other. The dynamic between Kipton and Cara is what every brother/sister relationship should be like- light and teasing but shrouded in unconditional love. I loved that Sophie and Kipton were able to calm each other through some of the tense and unconventional situations they found themselves in. When they finally made it to their destination though none of the struggle mattered. They all had everything they needed right there with them to ring in the new year.

Baby, It's You by Ryleigh Andrews

I am so happy that the Last Star gang is back. It was so nice to see everyone relaxing and being together enjoying the holiday spirit. I could feel Mia's exuberance at having the whole crew there with her. Gah! I just love this cast of characters, but none more than my man Ethan! That man is seriously the things that dreams are made of. His love for his family and friends is what drew me to him in the beginning. But seeing how he cares for Mia, his unconditional love for her just makes me swoon all over again.

However, it wouldn't be Mia without some drama thrown into the mix. If it isn't a blizzard that has her worrying, it is the fact that she is about to pop right out of her pregnancy. And baby Stella wants to make a grand entrance into this world. It was when tragedy almost befalls the clan, again that this book is blown wide open. My heart just broke for everyone who was waiting with baited breath, as I was, to see what was going to happen.

I absolutely LOVED getting into the minds of Clark and Todd. Seeing how things in their life were and the impact of the bands success on them and their relationships (or lack thereof). It was such a great lead up and into their stories and I can not wait to get more of them in the future.

I was lucky to get an ARC of Flare.

Remington and Selene St. Germain are back in this holiday novella!

Enjoying the joys of marital bliss, Remington and Selene are parents to beautiful baby girl, Hope, and her big brother Adrien. Still very much in love, but finding alone time a rare commodity in the St. Germain household. Coming to their rescue, Remington’s brother Luc offers to babysit so his brother and sister-in-law can have a romantic holiday getaway. Luc gets to spend time with his niece and nephew. The conversations between Luc and Adrien are hilarious.

Luc is nursing a hangover, induced by the woman he can’t get out of his head. Luc is a famous race car driver. He’s single, and takes full advantage of his charms on the ladies. He’s a love ‘em and leave ‘em type of guy, and he’s dumbstruck when a woman turns those tables on him.

Although this novella is mostly about Remington and Selene, Autumn whets your appetite for Luc’s story, which hopefully is coming soon. I’m very interested in his story. I fell in love with Remington in Autumn’s Havoc Trilogy, and I was also crushing on Luc. Another hot, rich, dirty talking Frenchman? Oui!

Flare is part of the Hot for the Holidays (21 short stories): A Collection of Naughty and Nice Holiday Romances anthology.

I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 5 stars.

Flare Autumn Grey

I had the pleasure of reading an arc of Flare by the wonderful Autumn Grey and I want to say I was not disappointed at all I LOVED it....if you loved the havoc series then this you have to read....
We get lots more of Remington and Selene and the amazing Adrien but also the new addition to the family little Hope. Even more though we get to know more about Luc...Remingtons brother...and OMG I love him.
Luc is the fuck them and leave them type but on one occasion he meets red who completely spins his world on another axis when she does exactly the same to him.

This little novella will suck you in...it's HOT and it made me laugh especially the part with Luc and the Christmas tree LOL!!! Reading this makes me want to read havoc all over again!!! :)
Thank you Autumn for this novella and I really can't wait to get Luc's book. I'll read anything you write because you are AMAZING..you draw me into the story to the point that I can't put it down until I'm finished and you make me feel so happy inside!!!
A huge 5 stars *****

I loved Max and Chloe from Elisabeth Grace's Indiscretion Serial so when I saw a chance to catch up with them in this anthology, and since all proceeds go toward charity (ProLiteracy), I had to 1 click! Even though this is a short story, it was full with content that made my heart smile. I loved seeing that Max and Chloe are doing well despite obstacles they continue to overcome. Their previous story proves their love truly survives in sickness and in health and this story proves their love can even withstand Mother Nature – turning an unfavorable situation into a happy ending. It was so much fun seeing characters from other stories appear and help make this a New Year’s Eve to remember for all involved.

I am looking forward to reading the rest of the stories in this anthology as there are many great authors included in this set, but I just had to dive into When the Clock Strikes Twelve first, and it didn’t disappoint.

As a massive Autumn Grey fan I was over the moon to be given Flare ARC in exchange for an honest review and it didnt disappoint.. Wow Ms Grey this was hot from the off !! Selene and Remington from The Havoc series are getting ready to enjoy a family Christmas with Arien and Hope. In crashes sexy Luc in a tizz over a woman, who for once seems to have got under his skin - hopefully we'll see more from Luc in future! Some humour in the form of Luc performing 'Oncle' duties to allow Selene and Remington some much needed alone time.. and boy did this heat up the pages til they nearly spontaneously combusted. Love these characters and it was great to reunite with them in this sexy little Christmas novella. That was my only disappointment.. it ended too soon lol.. cant wait for more from this family.. come on Ms Grey !! haha.

Heartwarming and amazing

My 5 stars go to Whitney Barbetti and A Ten Below Zero Christmas <3

This short visit with Parker & Everett showed me how much I missed them and how I would really really love a TBZ #2 book, but at the same time I fear of what the author might come up with, lol. Because she's evil like that and loves torturing her readers :P
I really enjoyed this one and wholeheartedly recommend it to all TBZ fans, Parker and Everett will give you #allthefeels once again, mark my words!

I've only read the TBZ novella for now, that was my main interest in purchasing the anthology (plus, contributing to a good cause), I'll save the rest for Christmas if I find the time.

So I only read Always Us by Stephanie Rose and Special Delivery by B.A. Wolfe and let me tell you they didn't disappoint!
It was so nice to get more of Lucas and Sam! I didn't think we would after the way their story ended. The way Lucas is with their daughter Bella...swoon! Their cock-blocking son...freaking hilarious! Great job Stephanie! I hope we get even more of them in the future! Yes, I'm selfish like that!

I got the chance to receive an ARC of Flare by Ms. Autumn Grey.. And I so freaking loved it!!! I was hooked on this story. I recommend to read the Havoc series first if you read Flare though so won't get confused of the story. In Flare, aside from meeting again the main characters of the Havoc series you will also meet Remington's brother which I know you will also love! =) Loved it!

5 Stars for A Ten Below Zero Christmas by Whitney Barbetti

I loved revisiting Parker and Everett again. I have missed them so much. This was a perfect Christmas. Even in this short story Whitney was still able to give me the feels. Only issue I have is that I need more Parker and Everett.
