Obsession . Betrayal . Power

The betrayal that shattered everything left elira trapped in a game she never agreed to play.
Far from home and surrounded by enemies, she finds herself at the centre of struggle between two kings, each with plans of their own.
To some she is a weapon. To others, a prize. A key to power. A means to an end.
With everyone she cares for beyond her reach and the Heavens silent to her prayers, Elira must navigate a world where every smile hides an agenda and every act of kindness comes with a price.
But while kingdoms maneuver for control and immortals gamble for posession, they make one fatal mistake.
They forget who she belongs to.
And dalkhan has never once surrendered what was his.

A Fate in Chains is Book Two in the Flesh & Flame series, a dark romantasy series filled with forbidden desire, dangerous bargains, immortal kings, and a love that could destroy kingdoms.

Perfect for readers who love possessive kings, powerful heroines, morally grey characters, high-stakes fantasy, and romance where every touch comes at a price.

A Fate in Chains — 100/10! ❤️‍🔥

I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunity to be one of the first to read THIS masterpiece. N. D. Osman, you are truly talented!

I wasn’t sure the author could surprise me even more, but here we are)))

If the first book was primarily driven by love and the development of the romantic relationship, this one gave us struggle, pain, rage, and the beginning of something entirely new.

I actually loved the second book even more because of its incredible plot, the way it showcased the strength of the characters (EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!), the friendships that begin to form and grow stronger, and, of course, RAFIK))))))

Oh my God, the squad of Rafik, Torak, Dalkhan, and Theo is EVERYTHING! I was giggling so much. I absolutely love when books have moments like these that break the tension and bring genuine joy. Rafik is officially my new book crush)))

I also want to give a special thank-you for including Tavrik’s POV. I truly believe it was absolutely necessary. Getting to explore him, Jasila, and their relationship in this way added so much depth to the story. I genuinely felt and understood so much more than the first book had allowed us to see.

Elira emerged even stronger, wiser, and fiercer than before. I absolutely loved her character development, just as much as I loved the growth of our King. I could literally feel his longing through the pages. So intensely that my heart actually ached at times.

And the writing… Oh, the writing! The words flow so beautifully from one to the next that I can barely describe how wonderful it feels to read. Everything is so effortless, captivating, and beautifully written. All I wanted to do was keep turning the pages without stopping!

The scene with Umi completely shattered my heart, while the scene inside Dalkhan’s mind somehow pieced it back together again. ❤️‍🩹

I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone! It was absolutely incredible. I’m completely in love with this story, its characters, and the world the author has created.

I truly cannot wait to read whatever N. D. Osman writes next!

5⭐️ Loved it! An absolutely perfect sequel! This book will completely ruin your sleep schedule!

Huge thank you to N.D. Osman for the eARC, and a massive congratulations on delivering the absolute best second book

A Fate in Chains delivered! You seriously need to pick up this series. It’s full of elemental magic, in an incredible ancient Egyptian-inspired world that feels entirely unique. N.D. Osman’s writing is so insanely vivid and atmospheric that you can actually feel the desert heat and the tension radiating off the pages

It’s seductive, fast-paced, and completely binge worthy. This series has my heart and my soul. I love this world and these characters. And the Theo! Everyone needs a Theo! I was laughing out loud at every Theo antic. He has no filter and OMG it’s makes this journey unforgettable. There is a fresh new line up of side characters and they all made this installment so much better. A big shout out to Rafiq!

I think my heart exploded at these words “Sleep, little flame, I’ve got you.”.

I cannot thank N.D. Osman enough for this masterclass book. Congratulations on writing the absolute perfect sequel!

I am beyond grateful to the author for sending me an e-ARC of A Fate in Chains to read before release day.

Wow, what an absolute masterpiece. I completely devoured this book and was hooked from beginning to end. The world-building was incredible, the banter was EVERYTHING and the twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat, never quite knowing what was coming next. The tension, the power struggles, the morally grey characters and the deliciously dangerous dynamics had me absolutely obsessed! Elira’s journey had me captivated and the dark, immersive world of the Flesh & Flame series just keeps getting better. This book delivered everything I could have wanted and MORE!

If you love possessive kings, powerful heroines, forbidden desire, high-stakes fantasy and a romance that keeps you screaming at the pages, you NEED this book on your TBR!

I honestly wish I could give it more than five stars because even TEN STARS just doesn’t feel like enough🔥🖤

Ps. Tavrik will always be my number one!

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

I loved a Fate in Flames so much and couldn’t get enough of the author’s content on Instagram. I’m very grateful I got an ARC for A Fate in Chains! Picking up right where the first book left off, Osman pulled me straight back into the seductive yet dangerous world of the Jinn. The story has loyalty, ride-or-die friendships, tender moments, and most importantly a burn-the-world-down MMC! I loved getting multiple POVs from Dalkhan, Elira, and Tavrik, which gave us deeper insight into their minds, backstories, and journeys. I met a grumpy camel named Rafiq , he is officially my favorite camel, and his attitude brought some much-needed comic relief. I appreciated the world building, unexpected friendships, and a touch of philosophy. I get frustrated with some female power books and I appreciated the different strengths of each female character and thought it was well done. The prologue tying into the ending was such a satisfying touch, and Azmik’s LAST WORD! I am not ready to leave these characters behind and can’t wait for this story to continue. Thank you N.D. Osman!

I enjoyed the book. However, there were some parts that went by a little to slow. I really enjoyed how it explored each character. It was funny, heartbreaking, heroic (sometimes in a very funny way...thanks Theo), traumatic. I really enjoyed the new character introduced and the loyalty built amongst them. Being able to lean on others during your darkest times. I Wish there was more Dalkhan and Elira together.

I finished this book a few days ago and wow… I feel like this was a beautiful continuation to the first book. I loved the MMC and FMC in the first book but this one gave them so much more depth especially the MMC.
The book made me feel like I was on an emotional rollercoaster. It was an absolute delight to see more of the world we waited so long to see. Can’t wait to see what happens next. :)

This book had me in a panic attack but in the best way. Fated mates, found family, grump sunshine, touch her and die. This book had it all!! I love the romance between Dalkhan and Elira I want MORE!! A beautifully tragic ending filled with grief and love. I see you Tavrik and Jasila…HOT! I really enjoyed seeing softer side of Dalkhan. Alas, I’ll still be waiting on my knees for him and Elira.
