Briefing 1, Principles of Asset Protection

This series is intended to be used to build an understanding among an audience of middle and senior managers of asset protection using tools provided by the disciplines of information security and information risk management. It is assumed the audience has a basic understanding of computers, software and networks, a more detailed understanding of operating systems, network protocols, and other technology would be useful, but is not necessary. The series should also facilitate building a vocabulary to enable a shared understanding of terms and their usage. The white papers and briefing slides are intended for use by practitioners who can tailor the content as appropriate to the environment and audience and present the material supplemented with any information necessary.
