A powerful Contemporary Romance. Here is the first book in the ‘Electrify’ Series by Lucia Jordan, written in her signature style of high passion and emotion. Will Joanna be able to seduce the man she loves or will she fall for his mysterious and drop dead gorgeous friend instead? For years Joanna’s been secretly in love with her best friend Trent. So when he invites her to Aspen for two weeks on an all-expenses-paid vacation, she hopes the naturally romantic backdrop of snow-capped mountains and logwood fires will lead something more. Little does Joanna know that Zack Weston—Trent’s friend who owns the chalet and is paying for the whole trip—has other ideas… Zack has never been able to get Joanna out of his mind since the very first time he saw her as she visited his friend Trent years ago at Yale. He knows that Joanna still lusts after Trent, but he also knows that things haven’t progressed beyond friendship between the two. One way or another, Zack is determined to shake things up. But this time, will he finally claim the woman he desires? Only mature readers should download this book.

What in the world was that…so unrealistic who would pine after someone that long, who would wait in the sidelines how would a 28 year old be that immature
Another short book by Lucia Jordan, where things move fast. Joanna has had a crush on her beat friend Trent for years, with no reciprocal feelings from him. When they are invited to stay with Trent's college friend, Zach. Zach has had a thing for Joanna since she came to visit Trent in college. A two week getaway may change everything.
This was actually a great start! I love the hold up and the dynamic. It moved quickly but nothing that I couldn’t follow or accept easily! Definitely will read the rest!
I'm sure many people can relate to how Jo feels. Trent obviously has not noticed or cared. Zack must be Mr. Matchmaker, but has craved Jo for many years.
The first book of the Electrify series is like a setting from an 18th century house party set in an Aspen chalet. She has loved him forever, but will she end up with him or the gorgeous and rich host?
Another stunner by Lucia Jordan; you'll sky down the black diamond lane of this story and quickly demand more!
How pathetic can Joanna be? Seriously? How could she stay in love with Trent for that long and never tell him? May it is time for her to finally move on. He obviously doesn't care about her so why should she stay hung up on him? I say good for her, finally enjoying something for herself. To bad Trent has to ruin it.
There are so many good books out there and this is one of them. I loved the chemistry of the characters. Very steamy. I love to read books from this author, fantastic story teller.
Joanna may have loved her best friend Trent forever, but he didn't return her feelings. I love how Zack to the approach to be with her. They definitely had chemistry. The ending of this book was just what needed to happen. Now to read the whole series.
As always Lucia writes steamy stories. Still not sure if I'm interested in this one. Increase portion but after a few years though I'd purchase. Not thrilled with the plot so far. But maybe as I get closer to the end. I just wish I didn't pay for it.
Why did you leave me with that ending? Poor poor Johanna. To finally try and get past him and have him act like she did something wrong. How dare he!!!
This is the first short story I've read Lucia Jordan. Even though, I liked her writing overall, I felt like the last 30% of Electrify felt rushed and jarring... I think that there needed to be more of a transition between Joanna and Zack just becoming acquainted and rushing into having sex... Especially when Zack so urgently and savagely has sex with Joanna who has been in love with Trent, Zack's friend from college.
Then, of course, the cliffhanger ending is not my thing either. I feel like cliffhanger endings are only a ploy to get one to buy the rest of the series.
