Princess Sally thinks she's meeting Robotnik in the "neutral zone" to negotiate the release of her father, King Acorn -- but of course there's nothing "neutral" about Robotnik's wicked scheme!
You know, Sonic and his pals could've EASILY just stepped out of that cage through the bars. The gaps were definitely big enough for them to get through, so there was no need for Sonic to do a spin dash to get out of there. But hey, I guess it makes sense, when you think about it... if the cartoon can get away with this dumbass logic, then I so can the comic I suppose. Also, it took Sonic a good, like, 10 seconds to realize that that fish that he snagged up was one of Robotnik's robots. Any simpleton could easily tell that from a distance, but apparently Sonic, the guy who fights these baddies every day, couldn't see it. There is the possibility that he may not care enough to memorize those guys, but I think he's just stupid.
Issue #2

It's fine, albeit not as good as the very first issue. Half of the book is filled with short gags and a single story with the complexity of a Woody Woodpecker episode. These can be occasionally funny, but they're pretty empty in terms of story. (The anti-pollution bill gag is pretty hilarious though.) Thankfully, the first of the two stories ("Run, Sally, Run!") offers a much more plot driven episode with some nice character interactions and even a few little twists. I only wish it was less annoying with some of its elements.
