4.5 Star review of Something Else (The Three Graces Book 1) by Nia Farrell
This was a new author to me and is the start of The Three Graces series. This is a quick read and was also a genre that I have not read much of and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Something Else is the story of Grace Murphy, a psychic medium (who also happens who be a virgin) who is waiting for her soulmates to arrive. They have been together in past lives and the present will be no different. Nico White is a Native American who also happens to be bisexual. Nico and Grace connect and they begin the wait for their third to appear. It takes six months but finally J.T. Santiago appears in their lives. He is an ex-Navy Seal who currently teaches mixed martial arts and owns a gym; a man haunted by his past.
Together they will learn to heal each other and forgive the mistakes from their past lives and embark on a rollercoaster of an adventure. J.T. is a Dominant, has never had a male submissive and in fact is new to MM or MMF.
Since Grace and Nico are a pair, there will be learning curves for all of them as Grace will learn to submit to not only J.T. but also Nico as she experiences the BDSM lifestyle J.T. lives.
The relationship between all three smoulders, as couples and as a trio. No matter the combination, it is sure to set your heart fluttering. You can almost feel the flames burn you as you read this book.
I was so engrossed in this story I read it in one sitting. I was pleased with the development of the characters and thrilled when they reached their HEA. My only criticism would be is that I wanted it to be longer.
I look forward to reading the remaining books in the series. Congratulations Nia Farrell on a great book.

This is a quick read that is jam-packed with just about everything a reader can imagine (and fantasize about)! The story is about Grace, Nico, and J.T. - three lovers that keep finding each other through their many different lives. Grace is psychic (and a virgin) and we begin our story with her impatiently waiting for her lovers to come into her life again - she really wants to lose that V card! Nico is the first and he is hotter than hot! He immediately moves in with Grace but refuses to touch her until their third arrives. Thankfully, we don't have to wait too long for the super-duper hot J.T. to make an appearance. J.T. is a total alpha and literally makes the pages (and your panties) sizzle. Join Grace, Nico, and J.T. on their threesome journey that contains everything from hot virgin, hotter alpha, m/m action, BDSM, and, most importantly, to our happy ending. And, yes, I do believe there is a market for chocolate toothpaste!!

I am a strong believer in psychic abilities so for me this book was a HOME RUN! I loved the storyline and the sex - WOW - talk about HOT!!! This was my first book from Nia Farrell, and let me tell you she did not disappoint.
Grace - she's psychic and a virgin - she knows who she is meant to be with; she just needs to find them. Yes, I said them. Shall I remind you how HOT this book, was? I think my panties melted off. You are introduced to Nico first - Yummmmmm!! Then you meet J.T. - holy hotness batman!! You'll also see in the book, how they've lived in past lives together as well - the "phychicness" in this book was phenomenal!
I give it 4.5 - ONLY because I wished it was longer. :)

A great read! Something Else hooked me from the very start. The relationship between Grace and Nico is both physically and spiritually awakening and enthralling. I felt as if I was there with them, looking for the missing piece. When they finally meet JT, everything comes together and sparks fly. I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review. Truthfully, I couldn't put the book down. I wanted more, especially more of Nico!. The past life and psychic aspects were well researched and made the book much more interesting. I know this will be a series and I look forward to getting to know The Three Graces better.

Wow, Something about Grace, wow this is definitely different, and what a turn on. It has its dark side, of love, of healing, of lust. The differences in these three lovers is astounding but what a mix of energy. If your looking for a panty twister with bondage and paddles this is for you, if your looking for f/m/m this is for you. Loved it and very much looking forward to the next. Thank you Nia xxxxxx I received this as a prize and how lucky was I.

Interesting novella. It’s centers around Nico, Grace, and JT. These characters have been reincarnated over and over again. This is not my thing and I had a hard time reading it for this reason.

4.5 stars...
Something Else is a short story that moves at a fast pace…but these characters, their memories and their dynamic together were interesting enough that I would have hunkered down with them for the span of a 15 book epic series and been happy to read all about their past lives, their traumas, their love through the ages…
Nia Farrell wrote a story of three lovers connected through time, reuniting over and over again to form a chain of past lives. You get the sense they will continue to do this until they get it right, but this time around, it seems they did. The characters are likeable, sweet to each other and supportive. Two of them remember, one of them doesn’t—or rather, not overtly. He sort of ‘feels’ their past but he’s the one with the greatest trauma to work through.
I would have loved to have more, the past and the present, the fight to completion…but wanting more is usually a sign that you enjoyed the story, and I definitely enjoyed Something Else. I can’t wait to read about the rest of the Three Graces.

First off I loved Something Else. I was so engrossed in this story that my husband scared me twice because I didn’t know he was there.
I am not sure it can be called a Novella because it is very short Amazon says 52 pages. So if you want a short, sweet & HOT story this is for you! And, if I had a complaint it isn't on any of the content like I said I love the book but, it would be for the length of this book! I wanted this story to continue at least book 2 is out and I only had to stop to write this review.
Nia Farrell is a new author and this is her debut book! And, she did a fantastic job with her first book. I am looking forward to reading more by her.

This was such a pleasure to read! Not just the smooth, effortless way the author leads the readers through each character’s personality and thoughts, but the clean writing style she has.
The synopsis gives a great overview of everyone’s story, but really doesn’t come close to expressing the range and level of feelings & emotion that author Nia Farrell has the reader experiencing, on behalf of the characters. It’s truly, surprisingly moving.
And, not to forget, this is a hot ménage! It makes you wonder why everyone isn’t in a ménage situation … where everyone can get all their different needs met! Up next, Something Different!!

Something else...
This is a short paranormal erotic story; really well written with magical characters, and at its heart an unusual love story which spans a multitude of lifetimes...
Grace is a quirky and gifted seer who has been reincarnated many times... I loved the premise .. with the three main protagonists having lived different lives, with different outcomes, in different bodies before this current lifetime... but whilst there were a lot of positives there were aspects of this book that I found disappointing...
Firstly the blurb indicated that the book was to focus on three women and I had anticipated reading a story that incorporated interactions between them..but in fact the other two were only mentioned in passing and had no relevance to the storyline... I was so looking forward to the interactions between them and that did not happen..
Secondly there are times when the narrative dwells on the mystical and reads a bit like an encyclopaedia of astrological and mythological terms; whilst this provided a window into Grace’s world it seemed very detailed for a novella... which brings me on to the final concern I had which is that this was potentially such a great plot and could easily have taken a full length novel to explore the characters and their imagined world..but instead the focus was very much on the steamy and erotic and not enough on development of story or the individual players...
So here is my dilemma..this was an original and fascinating plot which drew me in..but ultimately left me knowing very little about the characters and feeling that they were all just a little bit too amicable and accepting of their situation... The other ‘Graces’ are yet to have their moment in the spotlight and I shall continue to read with interest, and in the hope of something else, or a little bit more....Summer’s Eve Reads received an advanced copy of this novella...

Nia Farrell is a new author for me and I did not know what to expect, and all I can say is WOW oh WOW I loved it, This was a short read but has everything you would want.
Grace Murphy who is a psychic medium has let's say lived many lives and her dreams are the reminder of the many relationships she has with the same people may be in different forms different shapes different sex but always the same people.. So Grace is a 22-year-old Virgin waiting for her true mates..
The story begins where she meets her first Nico Who is i'm not going to call him a Alpha more like a beta but they do have one thing to start the connection is Anna as fate would have it they were supposed to meet many of times but it's never worked until now.
Then about six months later they are together living together they meet JT now JT is an alpha.. Swoon I love JT the moment I met him his attitude just screamed alpha and Dom.
I loved that there is a relationship with a little bit a kink a little bit of vanilla and a whole lot of heat. Now grace for being who she is and what she can do knows to have patience but also to help nudge JT into accepting their situation and that he has a thing for Nico but at the same time to be there for him to help them fight his demons and to forgive him.
Throughout the book you can definitely feel the connection, the fear, the patience, the love,the tenderness and the lust.. And a couple fan your face moments
I don't want to give away too much of the book. But if you like a little bit of Mystery little bit of Dom and sub and MMF then this is the book for you.
I would give this a 4.5 stars and it definitely recommended read

I loved the start of The Three Graces series. Grace is a very fun character to read about. Author Nia Farrell has me hooked. Something Else has the story of Grace, Nico and J.T. Grace is a psychic. Most men will not come near her. She is one that has never ever hid who she is and what she can do. She came out as a psychic when she was in middle school. So that pretty much isolated her as a kid. She did make friends with the other two Graces, Anna and Rae. They are pretty much it for her as far as friends. She is loyal, kind and, really sweet person.
Nico- Grace meets him at a convention but turns out he was a man who her best friend had been trying to set her up with for months. He writes music with a tribal twist. Smart, witty, and intuitive. He is also charming and quiet. A shaman. He is really a loner.
J.T.- he is gorgeous, a bad boy air about him. Rides a motorcycle. He is very dominate. Very Alpha male. He doesn't trust himself. Ex Seal has PSTD, fraid of risking his heart.
These three are all part of a huge puzzle they fit together. Each has something about them that the other needs. I liked the flow of this book. I also like the characters have a great connection. I really would like to read more about the other two best friends too. I think this is a great start and want more.

I have quite the book hangover and I'm not sorry AT ALL!!! When it was 3;30am I only had a few pages left and I just could not stop, so I read until a little after 4am!! This book is sexy and funny, and the sex scenes are downright scandalous, and I loved every second of them!!! I am a big fan of threesomes and this book did not disappoint!!!!! I very highly recommend this book, it doesn't have a lot of pages but it reads like a novel because Nia does a fantastic job telling a story with spicy sex thrown in to make it even better!! I will definitely be buying the other two books about the "three Graces" as soon as I am able!!

Oh my goodness! Past lives, reincarnation, psychic abilities, PTSD, shamanism, so many pieces of Nico, Grace and JT's lives. I loved this story of lovers coming back together life after life, some good, some not so good. A fantastic storyl-line, great writing and totally lovable characters make this a fabulous read for me.
Note: If you have an issue with different belief systems, especially reincarnation, this is NOT the book for you. If you can keep an open mind, dive in and enjoy the love between three fantastic characters.

Grace knows there is someone out there for her. Two actually...now how to find them? She lives in a small town and works the fairs as a psychic. Nico finds her first and they agree to live together and celibate as they wait for their third. JT takes them by storm and the fun begins. Working through various past sins and current issues makes for an intriguing story.

The combination of love, kink, spirituality and just plain affection to another human being is just perfect. Looking back into past lives is new to me, but in this context it’s interesting and I’m a bit cirious for more.

Grace is a very unique, beautiful and very special lady. The complexity of her being becomes more when she finally finds Nico and JT. I love the dynamics of these three. Such and intense read. Kept me intrigued from being to end.

I really like this book. Loved the past lives references, as I believe in them. Grace, Nicole and J.T are wonderful characters, and very steamy together. 🔥🔥🔥The next book is in my tbr list.

This book was amazing! You take a virgin psychic who is waiting for her pair of men to come into her life. The adventure that this books take you on leaves you yearning for more! Especially once Grace finds her men. Wowsers! This is totally a must read!

Review: This author was new to me when I began reading this book. And now I am hooked. The book is a short and steamy read. But the characters have good depth that gave them endearing qualities that helped me care for them within a short time. I was worried for J.T. after a couple of rough experiences with Grace and Nico but love and patience won out. I look forward to the other stories in this series based in Posey.

I was the lucky recipient of a gifted copy of Something Else by Nia Farrell during her takeover on the TaSTy WordGasms birthday bash celebration. I have to say that books about psychic abilities and past lives aren’t usually at the top of my TBR list, however, I was curious about this new author.
I enjoyed the premise of the Grace, Nico, and JT “knowing” each other in previous lives and Grace’s ability to see, hear or feel things beyond our realm. However, I found their actual physical relationship [yes, the sex] unrealistic and rushed. Were the scenes hot? Yes, no doubt about it. Could I buy into the fact that a woman is going to be physically capable of taking not just one man, but two [at the same time], the very next night after losing her virginity? No, I could not. I think it would have been more realistic to build up to that point, but it’s a little hard to do that in a 52 page book. I would have loved to witness their relationship flourish as they learned about each other and learned how to overcome some of the hurdles that this type of relationship is bound to have.

Nia Farrell’s Something Else is book one of what will likely be at least a three-part erotic romance series about The Three Graces, a trio of 22-year-old female friends living in a small town. This novella-length story chronicles the coming together of an MMf ménage with metaphysical aspects to it; purportedly the threesome has been joined in various ways throughout history and this incarnation holds the promise of resolving serious issues from the past.
Overall, this book does not really resonate with me, but objectively I acknowledge that it is well written and should appeal to a broad range of readers. The erotic scenarios are varied and well constructed; besides heterosexual ménage there is a fair sampling of introductory BDSM and bisexual play. Besides the fact that ménage in general doesn’t push my buttons, my biggest issue with Something Else is that the circumstances of the trio hooking up and the relationships between the principals are too perfect. Also, in a vague sort of way there are elements of political correctness and self-conscious how-to BDSM protocol that interfere with my enjoyment of the story, since I’m not a newbie.
Overall, this book does not really resonate with me, but objectively I acknowledge that it is well written and should appeal to a broad range of readers.
