I really enjoyed the in depth look at building an organization from the ground up. It wasn't super well written, the author occasionally repeated the same stories (some sentences verbatim). Going through free agency, drafts and trades was the best part!

Solid book. Highly recommended to get an insight on not only how a hockey team operates....but also their minor team. And you also get an insight how difficult and demanding the business is! Great read!

Wow, what an adventure the author experienced! And how pleasant it was to follow his development from a legal guy to a hockey guy with control of almost every aspect of a whole hockey operations department. Now I am even more hyped in following the NHL's Las Vegas expansion.
