Phenomenal collection of essays, articles, interviews, poems, and stories about numerous facets of Canadian Indigenous peoples' experiences with health and wellness. The topics and voices are pleasingly diverse, the writing is clear and not too dry/academic, and I think I learned more from this easy-to-read volume than all the other textbooks I've read on this subject put together.
a review of the determinants of indigenous people's health - that goes beyond basic health and even social determinants of health. I appreciated the different approaches, view points and styles of writing.
