The Passion & The Drama Are Dialed Way Up In Aisha Taylor's Latest Novel!
Mikki never saw her life going this way, but after working brutally long, stressful hours in the high stakes game of celebrity publicity, her efforts are finally paying off with some amazing contracts.

Now that Rob has entered her life, things are even better. Although she's never dated a white guy before, she's wowed his incredibly passionate lovemaking, thoughtfulness & extreme musical talent.

But not all is well in the world of music and celebrity as some very ugly skeletons are beginning to pour out of a seemingly endless closet, especially now that Mikki is working with Virgil's ex, Janet.

Meanwhile, Shawna and Virgil are experiencing their own ups and downs, culminating in a thrilling, life-threatening conclusion.

Enjoy this ever-expanding cast of characters as they clash, make love and sometimes risk it all in the quest for true love that exists regardless of skin color!

This is a standalone, Interracial BWWM romance novel with some extremely sexy scenes and no cliffhangers. If you would like to read more about these characters, check out the original "Crossing the Line" novel here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XK6SIVO/

Disappointed

To many different story lines about people that I didn't care about. The author was all over the place. Sorry Ms. Taylor.

Whew! This book had so much going on with it so many different couples that it did not focus entirely on Mikki and Rob. This book left so many loose ends, I hope there is another to tie them all up.

Mikki/Rob - in book One Rob made is interest known to Mikki at first introduction. Although she was not having any of it. When Mikki finally gave in, these two burned up the sheets and continued to do so despite Mikki's feels for her bff Shawna. Rob and Mikki get in to a heated disagreement and she tells him once they get back from their trip he need to get his stuff and get out. These two aren't exactly doing get without each other and Shawna gives Mikki a few hard truths and lets Mikki know that she is aware of Mikki's feels for her. Mikki calls Rob but gets his voicemail, next thing she knows Rob is at her door. They begin to open up about their lives and Mikki tells him that Shawna was aware of her feelings.

Janet/Exodus/Keisha/Lolli - It lots like someone is out to get Janet to tank her career before she can get it back on track. Pictures arrive at her house of her and her ex-Exodus in ecrotic positions. Unbeknownst to Janet and Exodus, his ex-wife Keisha is pulling the strings and hired Lolli to get all the pictures of every woman Exodus has ever been with. Things take a shocking turn when Exodus decides to end it all. One thing Keisha wasn't thinking about when she planned her revenge against Exodus make sure you can handle the outcoming that your actions have set in motion.

Janet/Derek - Well this one was an interesting turn of events. Mikki seeks out Derek to check in on Janet and counsel her, but he is also counselling her father unaware of this until he is sitting at Janet's house speaking with her and Oliver walks in. Things also get physical between these two and Oliver winds up in the hospital and Janet learns that Derek knew of her father's condition.

Rodger/Ivanna/Antonio - Rodger is tongue tied around his boyhood crush. Ivanna feels the what is between herself and Rodger. This couples also hits the sheets and continue hitting them hot and heavy. An old flame of Ivanna's enters the picture attempting to get Ivanna back. Rodger does some investigating on his own and what he learns has him wanting to get Antonio out of their lives for good.

Shawna/Virgil - I have to agree with Mikki's thought of Shawna's feels toward Janet. Virgil should have been totally honest with Shawna about everything instead of keeping so many secrets.

These books keep getting better and I hope there is a book 3 coming. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but this was a great read. I love the new characters as well as the old and I like how the author wove all the stories together. Aisha did a great job in character development as well as kept the reader engaged. I love stories that are a bit complex and this was done very well. Overall I recommend both books and I think they are great reads.

Note, it's small but in book 1 Erika was spelled with a k but in book 2 it was a c and around chapter 9 it was a k again. Also, I thought in book 1 when Virgil is telling Shawna about his past that he had siblings bc his mother said that he was his father's favorite, but in book 2 it states that he and Shawna were both only children. If I am wrong I am sure someone will correct me.

Enjoy the read, I know I did.

Just Pure Music!!

This story blew my socks off, with all the drama. This was such a well written story that we got to see the inside of the group. The writer lets in on all the good and bad, along with with the faults. The chemistry with the characters read like old friends trying to live, make their dreams come true along with trying to find and keep love. This was such an enjoyable story that you get to experience the trials along with your favorite couples and pump your fist when they get it right. This was a well done follow-up to the first story, but I so want a look at these couples in the future.

Great stand alone that is a part 2...

Nothing is worse when the book is described as a stand alone and you still feel the need to read the first book to enjoy the second. Not the case here. The author did such a good job I didn't even have to refer to the first book, which by the way I read first thinking I wasn't going to like it. This was a great read. Love the way the characters developed and introduction of new characters that allows the author to write another stand alone with a different title (hint hint). Will keep this author my radar.

Wonderful 2nd Installment

All I can say is wow. I love this authors style. She has so many plots going at once. You never have the chance to get bored. I can't wait for the next installment. Want to see the other hand members find their love interests. And to catch up with the regular cast members

Well, I liked the first book so it's only natural to read the second. This book though was about nearly everybody and then some.

I started skimming over the sex scenes because there were so many.

Enjoyable

I really liked the story but it was so many couples to keep up with. It was a bit odd that every couple was interracial too.

Crossing The Line 2

This is the second installment and tells Mikki's story. An interesting book about her fears and her love for her best friend.
