I consider this book a must-read for anyone capable of reading, thinking, and reasoning. Sadly there are few people who fall under that category, but if you think it applies to you then you deserve to read this book. No, I take that back. It's your DUTY to read this book. There's no way to really explain this book without creating pre-conceived biases for or against its content, so I just say READ IT ALL, and then form your opinion. It's a command; It's a plea; It's a request; It's a challenge; It's a dare: READ IT. There's nothing else to say. Just do it.

Like the title says, this book explores the history of the FDA and corruption in the medical industry. It focused a lot on dangerous side effects of common medications, especially if taken long-term, scary drug trials, and what is and isn't being taught in medical school. It did have some advice on health and wellness as well as nutrition and the dangers of genetically modified food. I think this is an important book to read to form an educated opinion on various health issues. It offers a knowledgeable, honest perspective. Highly recommended!
