Jackie Davenport will try anything once, especially in the bedroom. Anything except falling in love. She lives a carefree existence packed full of fun, but free from emotional entanglements and that’s just how she wants to keep it. When she meets the new police officer in town, she’s unable to deny the connection between them. His over confidence and bullish ways grate on her…still she can’t help but find herself falling into his bed AND falling for him.

Jamie McTavish is man enough to admit that he probably didn’t make the best first impression when he met the 911 Operator. That doesn’t mean there isn’t still sizzling sexual tension between them. He’s a man of action and he’s not content to sit on the sidelines until Jackie works out her issues. But trying to tame this tiger might be too big of a challenge for even him.

Jackie is a 911 operator by day and a partier at night. She likes to have fun and let loose and only has one rule about dating - no cops! Her father was a cop who was killed in the line of duty when she was ten and ever since then she has watched her mother suffer. She never wants to be like and will do anything to avoid it.

James moved to Maine recently to take care of his sick father. Being new to town, he didn't know who Jackie was, a beloved friend of the police force, so he had no problems giving her a ticket and being a bit of a dick to her. But when he see's her again at his captains party he knows there is an attraction between them, and he isn't going to let her runaway from it, no matter how much she's scared to feel for him.

James and Jackie were a really great couple and their story was sweet and cute. I liked the connection that they had and how James wouldn't give up on Jackie after he felt it. He didn't let her run from him and kept showing up in her life so she had to face her feelings. Jackie had a hard time accepting that she had feelings for a cop and kept thinking that she would end up like hr mother, which made her scared. She eventually faced her fears and went with her feelings and I liked that she didn't keep running scared.

This wasn't a short book but it goes by pretty fast because the story just flows and before you know it you've been reading for hours and are already done. The characters were cute together and I really liked both of them. Overall, this is a good romance perfect for anyone in the mood for a lovey dovey book.

Jackie Davenport, 911 operator, refuses to date anyone in the field. What people don't realize is she stays away due to her father being killed in the line of duty and her mother never getting over his death. She wants uncomplicated, no commitments.

Jamie McTavish, a cop, is new to town. He transferred over from Boston to be closer to his dad who is suffering from Alzheimers. One look at Jackie and he's willing to tear down any walls she has.

This was a very enjoyable read for me. I really love finding books where the hero pursues the heroine relentlessly. He knows Jackie doesn't date anyone in the field but he also knows they have a pull like he's never felt before and he won't let her push him away.

Some may be irritated with how much she does push, but the author did a great job of giving us enough couple time in between the pushing.

Jamie was very forward with what he wanted and did come of a bit too cocky but I really loved how he went after Jamie and you can see he genuinely cared about her.

This is my first read from the author but it definitely won't be the last.

I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review from Ink Slinger. It does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Full Review on Brianna's Bookish Confessions.

I thought this was a good love story. I’ve always wanted more cop stories especially after Where I Belong by J. Daniels. This doesn’t disappoint in the hot cop department for sure!

Jackie is a 911 operator and likes to party. Dating a cop is not her thing; her dad was a cop and was killed.

James has moved back into town because his father is really ill and needs care for. He’s a cop and since he’s new to town he doesn’t know who Jackie is.

My only problem in why this isn’t more stars is the connection to the characters. I felt Jackie and Jamie’s story went so quickly, that we didn’t get much time to get to know them as characters. I loved their romance and how they overcame the obstacles thrown at them, but I wish there was more to their characters. This is my first time reading a book by this author but I’m in love with her writing!

I mean, who can’t go wrong with a hot cop!? :) Nothing gets better than that! This is the perfect quick, swoon-worthy read with just enough drama in it!

I would recommend this to someone who wants a quick, read not looking to being emotionally unavailable for time being.

911 operator, Jackie Davenport is a carefree girl. She likes to date and have a good time but she’s sworn off cops when it comes to guys.

Office Jamie McTavish, 29, is the new policeman in town. Once he lays eyes on Jackie, he’s a determined man.

“‘Find what you’re looking for officer?’”

The opening scene is really cute. It wasn’t hard to get into the story. It’s lighthearted and told via Jackie and Jamie’s alternating first person point of view.

I enjoyed that fact that the romance was free of OW/OM drama. Overall I liked both characters except for a section where Jackie’s hang-ups got on my nerves. But it doesn’t drag out so that was a plus.

All in all, the whole story moves pretty quickly though and it felt like their relationship progressed a little fast. I’m a reader that likes a build up, to be able to feel the chemistry between the main couple. I’m not saying I didn’t feel it but there are a lot of them saying they feel something between them that felt heavy handed.

Though I would have preferred more development, if you are looking for a simple, shorter, sexy story this is one to check out.

Jackie is a party girl, living her life to the fullest, having fun and just enjoying her life. She doesn't do relationships and she definitely doesn't do relationships with cops. She's emotionally unavailable and can't put herself out there because she doesn't want to go through the pain of loss. She has her reasons for being this way but she makes no apologies for who she is and she thinks she's happy with her life. That is, until a sexy police officer pulls her over. Jaime is instantly attracted to Jackie and he's the perfect man to try to break down her walls. I LOVED this story! I loved the connection between these two characters, the sexual tension between them and the way their relationship developed. When these two get together, wow, is it hot! I loved this story and highly recommend it to anyone who loves a sweet romance with a sexy cop for a hero!

Indecision (Maine Attraction #1) by Elisabeth Grace
4 stars!!

“…haven’t you figured it out yet? We’re a foregone conclusion.”

This was one of those melt your heart reads and I bet that Jamie McTavish will steal a lot of hearts.

Jackie was a 911 call operator, the police had been in her blood as her dad was also a cop, but the job had also cost him his life. Losing her dad had emotional repercussions for Jackie, one was her fear of loss and two was her mantra that she would never ever date anyone in the services, whether he be police, ambulance or fire. Any job that could take her partner was a 100% no go zone. Jackie had seen what loss had done to her mother and she was certain that she would never put herself in that position. But this gave Jackie a pretty lonely existence, having fuck buddies rather than any long lasting committed relationship. She had never felt love, or been in love….until Jamie McTavish.

“I’d been kidding myself to think that I was strong enough to face this.”

Jamie McTavish was the new cop in town, having moved from Boston to this small town in Maine. Jamie was dedicated to his job but also to his dad who was his main reason for moving back to Maine. Jamie totally stole my heart, he was such a kind hearted person, so loving and giving, you couldn’t help but fall for him. He was slowly but surely finding his feet and then he meets a damsel in distress at the side of the road, little does he know who Jackie is, else he wouldn’t have given her a pat down and a sobriety test. While their first meet may not have been the best, there was no mistaking the undeniable attraction that these two had for each other, even from the beginning.

“His body was perfection, but underneath the solid muscle and faceable exterior was a man who possessed a heart bigger than anyone I’d ever know - a man who now possessed my soul.”

This was a story of overcoming fears, however unfounded or founded, about moving on from the past and living for the present and future. Taking that leap of faith and putting your trust in another, but most importantly it is about falling in love and being loved, one of the most precious things to give and to be given.

“…unsure whether allowing Jamie into my life was my biggest breakthrough or my biggest mistake.”

I loved the connection between Jackie and Jamie, that slow build in the beginning until they both realised just what they were feeling, those little pangs of jealousy being the first indicators and the fact that Jamie would not give up on Jackie really tugged at the heart strings. The chemistry between these two was palpable and the two of them together set fire to the pages. I must admit there were a few emotional scenes that nearly had the tears falling, but I settled for glassy eye syndrome.

“And so I fell asleep in the arms of a man for the first time ever.”

This was a quick read and one that I thoroughly enjoyed. For all us hopeless romantics this one will tick all the boxes and will bring you a huge dose of the warm and fuzzies. Loved this couple and loved this story and one that hammers home just how important love can be from both sides, how much someone can change and just how emotionally rewarding a relationship can be.

“Because whether I wanted him to or not didn’t seem to matter. Jamie had already stolen a piece of my heart. And like a thief in the night, I hadn’t even realized he’d done it until it was too late.”

This was a beautiful story about letting love in. Jackie is a ball of fun, she’s witty, enjoys life, and cares deeply, but she is afraid to fall in love. When she meets Jamie, there is no denying their connection, but will she allow years of walls to be torn down and let Jamie in?

It was heartbreaking to see someone so full of life so emotionally detached. Learning what happened to make Jackie so disconnected and listening to her mom was emotional.

I loved the dynamic between Jackie & Jamie. Even though Jackie had been through a lot, she had great character about her, strong, feisty, and lively. And Jamie, mmmm, mmmm. Cocky and such a great guy! I loved how he cared for Jackie and how he wasn’t willing to give up on her or them. Their banter together was so much fun and their tender moments heartfelt.

Great touching story!

“And so I fell asleep in the arms of a man for the first time ever.”

Oh Elisabeth Grace how I love you and your books! Let me count the ways. Actually that is kind of what I am going to do. This is going to be a mini review because I have read and COMPLETELY LOVED so many of Elisabeth's new adult and adult romances that I am afraid I will get too gushy here. So I am just going to quickly run down the reasons why you need Jamie McTavish and this book in your life. ASAP.

First, I'm going to let this graphic speak for itself: uniform4

Done! Jamie McTavish is hot and swoon worthy and I would like a moment or two alone with him. Seriously, that alone is enough of a reason to make me want to read Indecision. (Not to be confused by the similarly titled and similarly covered series, Indiscretion series.)

Second, Elisabeth writes not only great romance but she writes great characters, and great plots. Great everything. Period. Her books are so engaging, and well written, you will not be able to put them down. I devoured this book in one sitting. And when I was done I seriously contemplated [picking this book right up and starting it all over again.

Third, Indecision might be my favorite book of all of hers. But please don't make me pick, because I go back and forth with a lot of them. But all of them are worthy of re-reads in my opinion and there are so few authors that I can say that about.

The takeaway here should be that is you love new adult or adult contemporary romances, love solid story building, love swoonworthy men (in uniforms!) then why the heck are you still waiting?? Indecision is the perfect book for you! Go read it now.

If you can handle a seriously delicious cop with a heart of gold, his expert fingers, and determination that won’t quit, you need to get your hands on this book. I could almost hear Jamie’s deep and sexy voice commanding Jackie to undress a button at a time and feel him gripping her chin to stare into her eyes and tell her how he feels.

Jamie’s a new cop in town and clearly doesn’t know who he’s dealing with when he finds Jackie, the Chief’s goddaughter & local 9-1-1 operator, stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire. When he spies empty beer bottles Jackie had pulled from her trunk, he may have subjected her to a field sobriety test. While their first interaction was less than cordial, Jamie can’t get her out of his head. When he finds out who she is, he’s determined to make her his.

But there’s a problem: Jackie doesn’t date cops. She doesn’t date at all, actually. She prefers her men interchangeable and her life without strings. She likes everything uncomplicated. But she can’t deny the attraction to Jamie & the feelings that bubble to the surface every time he’s near.

The sweet and alpha combination gets me every damn time….If Jamie was patrolling I’d beg for a stop and frisk. ;) Jackie was completely indecisive, oscillating back and forth between opening herself up to love and shutting down. She’s a little bit of an infuriating character, but I also found her really likeable. Jamie, however, is the star of this book. His loyalty, kindness and commanding presence was perfectly executed. LOVED HIM.

Grab this one if you’re looking for a sweet and sassy story with a man in uniform who will warm your heart. Equal parts sexy and romantic, INDECISION is a book you shouldn’t think twice about picking up! 4.25 stars!

I'd break the law every day of the week if that means Jamie McTavish will pull me over.

I loved this story from Elisabeth Grace. I do have a small complaint though, it wasn't nearly long enough.

Elisabeth's writing pulls me in on page one and it doesn't let me go until the story is over. I knew how their story ends as a couple because I read Indiscretion (Which is awesome and if you haven't read it you NEED to.) but I loved watching it play out and can I just say their ending - how it happens - is complete perfection.

Jackie was a fun character for me to read about in Indiscretion and I was looking forward to her story. I wasn't expecting it to have so much heartache and so much stubbornness though. Jackie is one tough chick and I loved watching her learn she doesn't always need to be.

The biggest surprise for me in this novella was Jamie (who I'm saying was named after my all time fav book boyfriend even if it wasn't intentional). Jamie is a dirty talking sexy ass man. He could say those things to me any day. I loved how vocal he was, but even more I loved how patient he was.

This story was a great addition to the Indiscretion series. I wouldn't complain about reading more about this couple. Hint Hint.

Complimentary copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Jackie is an emergency dispatcher and daughter of a cop. She’s spent her life around first responders and the tight knit community they live in. She’s vowed to never get involved with a co-worker, given her history, and makes no exception when she meets Jamie, a new, hot cop in the department. They initially meet when Jackie has a flat tire and Jamie starts to help, but when she begins to pull away and he notices that she has a taillight out, he writes her a ticket and the antagonistic relationship begins.

Jamie is new to town and has no idea who Jackie is; much less that she has a reputation for being off-limits. When the two meet again at a department function, the chemistry is off the charts and Jackie gives up a little bit of the control she clings to. But when Jamie pushes for more, she is quick to retreat, taking with her the secret that keeps her from getting involved with anyone at the department.

What results is a fast-paced, sizzling novella with heart. Due to its brevity it does lack a little bit of the depth I would have loved to have seen with these characters, but I thoroughly enjoyed the book. The story is a classic romance and fans of the happily ever after with a strong heroine will love this one. Indecision is a standalone told in a dual, first person POV. The storyline will immediately hook you with its humor and the tension will keep you riveted!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

If you have read Elisabeth's Indiscretion series, then you will remember Jackie and Jamie. (The events in this book take place before that series, so don't worry if you haven't read the Indiscretion series. BUT it is an awesome series and you can get the whole thing for less than $4 on Amazon....just saying.)

At the beginning of the book Jackie is stranded on the side of the road. She is trying to change her flat tire, but is having some problems. Jamie happens upon her while on duty and makes a interesting first impression. Now knowing who she is, he manages to insult her, help change her tire and turn her on all within minutes. The man has some serious skills!

They both try to forget about that encounter, but sparks fly every time they see each other. Jackie repeatedly makes it very clear that she wants nothing to do with him. Jackie doesn't date cops. Or firemen. Or EMTs. But Jamie won't take no for an answer.
“There you go again.” I let out a frustrated sigh. “And stop looking at me like that.”

Now he seemed amused. “And how is that exactly?”

“Like I’m dessert.”

He leaned in to speak directly into my ear. I tried to hold my breath so I wouldn’t be forced to inhale his natural scent, the one I’d longed to smell again since I’d kissed him behind the bar. “Oh, but you will be dessert at the end of our date. I can’t wait to taste you.”

I inhaled a sharp breath and momentarily pressed my thighs together. Once I’d regained my composure I shoved into his chest, forcing him back and ignoring how hard his chest muscles were underneath my palms. “You’re impossible.”

He shrugged, not at all fazed by my frustration. “Maybe, but you like it.”

God help me, but a part of me did. “I’ve got to get going. Chloe is waiting.”

“Alright then. Enjoy the rest of your evening, Jackie. I know I will—imagining all the things we’ll be doing on our date,” he said with a cocky grin.
I narrowed my eyes. “Don’t count on it.”

He laughed, his eyes full of mirth. “Oh, Jackie. Haven’t you figured it out yet? We’re a foregone conclusion.”

***SWOON*** God I freaking love him!

The two of them do eventually go out on a date and despite Jackie's misgivings, she finds herself falling for Jamie pretty quickly. He was exactly what she needed to get past her dating hangups. When she does eventually explain those hangups, he is very supportive, but he also tells her that she can't live in the past or be afraid to do something because of what could happen in the future. Unfortunately, his words are not enough to get through to her and it takes a pretty dramatic event for her to see things clearly.

There were some light moments in this book that made me laugh out loud and by the end of it I liked Jackie and Jamie more than I already did. They were both fantastic friends to Chloe in the Indiscretion series, so it was nice to read their story.

“It was far from over, though. I was determined that this was only a chapter in what would be a long story between the two of us. Jackie may think the entire book has been written, read, and shut tight never to be looked at again. Over my dead body.”

Indecision follows the story of Jackie and Jamie. Now, as you might remember, we first met Jackie and Jamie in Indiscretion. Well, now we finally get their story!! Jackie is young and lives a carefree life. She loves to have fun, but doesn’t do relationships and especially doesn’t date men in the line of duty. All is fine and good until she meets Jamie. Jamie is new in town and try as she might, Jackie can’t deny the connection she feels to him. The only problem; he’s a cop…..Jamie being new in town had no idea who Jackie was. To say he made a fool of himself would be an understatement. Everyone tries to warn him off of Jackie and tells him that he won’t stand a chance, but that doesn’t deter him. Jamie is a man who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to go after it. However, Jackie may prove to be his biggest challenge yet.

I absolutely loved Indecision. It was a super quick read for me. That being said, this story really packed a punch. I fell in love with Jackie and Jamie instantly and was sucked into their story. I wanted to know more about them and why Jackie was afraid of relationships.

The connection between Jackie and Jamie may have been instant, but it felt very real. I loved Jamie’s determination. I appreciated how hard he worked to break down Jackie’s walls and make her realize how good the two of them could be. And Jackie…I could totally understand her fears. She knows first hand how dangerous the life of a cop can be and the toll that loosing someone takes. I couldn’t help myself from rooting for the two of them and hoping that Jackie would take this risk!

Indecision was a great read from start to finish. I loved every second of it and couldn’t get enough of Jackie and Jamie. Their story had just the right amount of angst, romance and drama. My only complaint is that the story is over.

Indecision by Elisabeth Grace is a sexy, sweet, emotional story that had me reading straight through to the end. This story is the first book in the Maine Attraction Series.

Jackie is a sweet girl that had something tragic happen in her past. Her father was killed in the line of duty. Jackie is a 911 operator but what comes with being that? Well in a small town everyone knows everyone and the one thing she has completely checked of her no go list is a man in uniform. She is constantly surrounded by them, but she flat out refuses to date them.

Jamie McTavish moved to town to care for his father. Being the newbie he doesn’t know who everyone is yet. One traffic stop, one frisking and a whole lot of sassy sexual tension leaves Jamie unknowingly meeting Jackie who is known by everyone. She leaves frustrated and furious, he leaves thinking it was just another stop. Until he catches wind of who she is and everyone but Jamie thinks it’s hilarious. He knows he was a grade a A-hole to her and when he sees her at a friend’s party he tries to right his wrongs… And ohhhhh does he right them, in a knee buckling explosive way.

He feels instantly connected to Jackie and she feels the same even though she continually denies it. He is determined to show her it’s ok to love, even when you are afraid of losing. You only live once and why not enjoy the feels while you are here because when it’s your time, no matter how it happens it’s going to happen regardless.

“No way was I tempting fate and giving myself to a man like Jamie - one that had “Caution: Police Line Do Not Cross” tape all over it. - Jackie

Can Jamie get through to Jackie and let go of her fears or will Jamie’s ultimate goal of a dream job push her even further out the door?

These two seriously make a great couple. I laughed, became frustrated, needed a fan for some seriously hot moments and wanted to smack some sense into Jackie. I whipped through this story like a hurricane and I want MORE. Jamie McTavish is one hot cop that will steal your heart and you will pray that the next time you are pulled over you can only dream that it is by someone like him who ends up bending you over the hood to frisk you!!! Loved this book! 5 Stars!

This was my first Elisabeth Grace book and I am thrilled that it was. From beginning to end I was enthralled and can I just say that Jamie McTavish is one vocal, dirty talking man. I LOVED it! ;) Let me back track a little bit though. 26 year old 911 operator, Jackie suffered a tragedy at the age of ten and it has cause her to never allow herself trust and love another person. She is perfectly happy being the party girl who doesn't form emotional attachments to anyone. Then she meets Jamie, a 29 year old cop, who has just moved to Bar Harbor to look after his ill father.

Indecision, completely a stand-alone book, is a companion novella to Indiscretion which I have not read but is now on my to read list. Jackie is the kind of woman that you just can't help like and root for. The type that you just want to be friends with. She is strong and a well written character. While Jamie is HOT! Actually is more than just hot he is also tender-hearted and caring. I mean come on, he gives up his dreams and moves to care for his ill father. In the bedroom he is take control  and he doesn't give up on Jackie. He knew they were meant to be together! This is a quick read but one that I enjoyed and has led me to an author that I know I will enjoy reading more of.

Jackie Davenport and Jamie McTavish riled each other the moment they met and in each subsequent encounter it got even worse. The sexual tension and chemistry is unavoidable. But while Jamie is determined to have her, Jackie is equally as determined that he is not. She has her personal set of rules. She doesn't do entanglements, emotions, or cops.

Jamie is intense, determined, confident, and pushy. He knows what he wants and has every intention of getting it not matter how much she resists. She's got up walls and defenses, but he starts to break them down bit by bit.

Jamie has many side to him: dominant but tender, stubborn but sweet, bossy and intuitive. But he has his hands full trying to slay her demons. Her fears have paralyzed her and ended up a self fulfilling prophecy of being alone. She is independent, sassy, and strong willed. She wants safety and security, but also craves passion and fun. But she is terrified of taking a risk and losing.

Can she learn to trust and take a leap of faith that Jamie will be there to catch her?

This was a sweet, sexy fast-paced novella. There was humor mixed in with the emotional situations and sexual tension. I liked the characters despite Jackie having some significant issues. I loved Jamie and his alpha ways. He had his own agenda but also had patience and understanding. They had fun banter and serious sexual tension and chemistry. It was told in dual points of view letting us see all their wants, needs, and fears.

It also introduced her best friend Chloe who is the heroine in Indiscretion serials. But this happens before Indiscretion so can be read as a stand alone, but it made me interested enough to purchase the 4 part Indiscretion box set.

"Caution: Police Line Do Not Cross"

Do you love a hot cop story? Then it's time to do some one-clicking. Indecision is a fun, flirty, and fast read by Elisabeth Grace introducing us to Jackie and Jamie. Jamie is the new cop in town and sets his eyes on the unobtainable, Jamie. But, she wants desperately to have nothing to do with him; her body has another idea in mind. Their rendezvous and push and pull interactions provide us with opportunities filled with love, laughter, and introspective thoughts.

"Haven't you figured it out yet? We're a foregone conclusion."

Told in dual points of view, Author Elisabeth Grace wrote a story of learning how to let go and let love in. I loved the ease with which the story was told, and the simplicity with which is was presented.

"I'm glad to know that even when he does go into his own world, and if he never comes out of it, that somewhere in there is a memory of you. Even if he can't recognize it."

I already had a warm fondness for both characters, but became very connected to Jamie at this moment, one of vulnerability; I mentally tasked Jackie to get her stuff together and let this man make her his. He was the yin to her yang, and I knew he would tilt her world back to rightness. I was their biggest cheerleader until the end. Happy moments await in Indecision.

"Trust me. When this guy looks at you - you feel it everywhere."

The one burning question I have right now is...where can I get my own Jamie? So alpha, so self-assured, so amazingly HOT. He's a good, strong character who's protective and seductive--one who should be an auto-add to your book boyfriend list.

Then you have Jackie. She puts up a confident, party girl front, but behind it all, she has the fear of losing someone if she gets too emotionally attached...and so she is determined not to fall for anyone. Hence her aversion to guys in highly dangerous fields-like cops-like Jamie.

But when the two of them meet and get to know one another? As much as she tries to keep from falling, that's just what she does. The two of them together? Yeah, the pages absolutely sizzle with their remarkable chemistry.

Drama comes a few times-when Jamie believes Jackie is in danger, and when Jackie gets a sharp reminder of why she avoids those dangerous men, and everything comes to a head when her worst fears seem to be coming true (or so she thinks). Between this and the steamy scenes between Jamie and Jackie, I was glued to the story and flew through it pretty quickly. This was due to not only the touching and dramatic story, but also the smooth flowing writing.

Recommended to all those who love a good contemporary romance that draws you in and keeps you there, Indecision was a 4-star read for me. For the 18+ crowd ;-)

Indecision is a story that starts by taking off and keeps your attention until the very end. This was a story Ms. Grace wrote that I was able to devour in one sitting. Indecision doesn’t seem like a long book, but it’s a story full of emotion, laughs, steamy sex scenes and a hot policeman; what more could we ask for? Oh yes, we can ask for a dirty talker and guess what? Jamie is the FULL package with a big package! Ha.

"Oh Jackie, I'd love to, but the first part of me inside you is going to be either my tongue or my cock. I haven't decided which."

Jackie Davenport is a 911 operator and little does she know, the new man in town will give her a run for her money. Jackie is against any and all types of relationships. She wants to just have fun and do her own thing, that’s until she gets pulled over by the new sexy cop, Jamie.

Jamie is a hard-ass but he goes after what he wants, and he wants Jamie beneath him. Will he get her in bed and most importantly will he be able to capture her heart? Jamie is egotistical and commanding, I couldn’t wait to see if he was able to command Jamie in bed since she is such a strong-willed woman herself.

"I've never met someone so afraid of happiness."

The first thing I want to say about Indecision, Jackie and Jamie is that I would love to read more about them. Their characters and the book are so well written that I miss them and want to read more about their journey and lives. It is that good!

We first met Jackie and Jamie in the author's Indescretion series. I am so glad we are able to get to know them better in Indecision. If you haven't read Indescretion I highly recommend that you read the series.

Elisabeth's writing always draws me in and keeps me glued to her words until the last page. This book was no exception to keeping me glued to my chair, housework be damned.

Jackie is fun loving, enjoys life and stubborn. Underneath the fun loving, witty persona is an immense fear of falling in love. Hearing what happened to cause this fear was heartbreaking.

Jamie is a hot, dirty talking policeman that is sexy as hell. He is patient with Jackie and isn't willing to give up on her or them...swoon.

This is a wonderful story about loss, pain, fear, trust and love.

I was so excited to read Jackie's and Jamie's story . We meet them in the Indiscretion serial and I was happy to learn how they fell in love . Elisabeth Grace fans will love this novella . Her writing and story telling is flawless and humorous as always . Jackie's and Jamie's first encounter is on the side of a road . She has a flat tire and he is the cop who drives by and helps her out . And trust me their first run in does not go well lol . Cocky cop , feisty heroine , the sparks fly ... But Jackie doesn't do relationships or cops . What a guy to do ? Pursue , naturally !!!! Loved Jamie , he knew what he wanted and he fought for it . Jackie has a past that makes her vary of falling in love , to take a jump into the unknown . But it's hard to resist Jamie's charms . It was fun to get to know this couple more . I loved their connection from page 1 . Great addition to the Indiscretion series !!!!

Where to begin?
" Because whether I wanted him to or not didn’t seem to matter. Jamie had already stolen a piece of my heart. And like a thief in the night, I hadn’t even realized he’d done it until it was too late."

Another great story by Elisabeth Grace! We met Jackie & Jamie in the book Indiscretion. If you haven't read that book, I would!!

Jackie is the fun loving, strong, witty, caring, & afraid of love. Without giving too much away, Jackie experienced a lost at a young age and refused to let love in. Jamie, is new to town and has a lot of patience for Jackie. He also has a dirty mouth and is sexy as hell! Jamie will be your next book boyfriend. I want more of Jackie & Jamie's story!!!

This was cute and entertaining. Jackie lost her cop father years ago as a result of his work, and her mother never got over him, so she's pledged to never date a first responder. Heck, she's kinda sworn off love entirely, because she doesn't want to feel like her world explodes if something bad happens. But Jamie is new on the force and doesn't know her rule. And once he finds out about her rule, he kinda pulverizes it as he works his way into her heart, past all her defenses. Really sweet with an HEA.
