They say once bitten…

Ethan Cates is anything but shy. A little time away from his playboy playground has hardened his heart. After returning from his travels, he has every intention of keeping it locked away. This summer his plan is for the three S’s: Sun, Sea and Surf…It’s just not his entire plan. Three more S’s: Sex, Sex, and more Sex. Ethan loves women. He is just never going to love only one woman; this summer he is on a mission to prove it.

Twice shy…

Everyone has a story but not everyone wants to tell about it. Ada is hiding and has no choice but to stay that way, because she needs to find the person who means the most to her more than her next breath. If she is found and identified, she knows she will never get that chance. It’s not a life choice; this is self-preservation. She’s lost too much to give up now.

For the first time since moving to the small coastal town, Ada feels isolated in her opinion of Ethan, the town’s favourite prodigal son. He is arrogant, rude, and a complete arse to her. But, the first time in forever, Ada is distracted by a man who seems to delight in torturing, teasing, and playing a game Ada can’t afford to lose--- one she can’t afford to play at all.

This one started like a winner:
a bad guy,
a jerk,
a troubled h, with parents to make Walt Disney's villains jealous
and an original story line that picked my interest after a few failed attempts of finding something to read.
The banter between the jerk and the h was really great and they were hot together.
What didn't work:
I have been wondering a good part of the book why the bag guy acted the way he did in the beginning of the story. What was his reasons? He seemed really in love with the h.
However, about more than half way through, he showed his face again but with a totally refurbished personality! Almost crazy. It was a twist that didn't convince me and the story lost its sparkle.

Oh, my goodness! This book just left me speechless and an utter mess when I was finished!!! It's been a while since I've read a book that had me laughing, bawling, smiling, swooning and wanting to sucker punch people all at the same time…but this book here had me doing these exact things.

Artemis (Ada) D'Aubeney thought her first love was forever. Betrayed by him in the most horrendous way, she’s paying a price that would, without a doubt, leave her scarred for life. As I read her POV, my heart went out to her, and the tears I shed were for her loss and betrayal because, in all honesty, I'm not sure I would have ever been able to survive what she went through.

I loved Ethan and Ada’s first meeting because it was so unconventional and just freaking hilarious! Ethan knows Ada is different on many levels and he wants to know all her secrets, but getting her to open up is going to be a challenge that will test Ethan's will and nerves! I loved Ada and Ethan's relationship because it was on all levels—yes, I know that probably doesn't make sense but it's the best way I can describe it. One minute they loved each other, the next they hated, mistrusted, and then…trusted. Like I said, it was on all levels.

There is so much emotion to this book that I really wasn't sure if I was going to survive it. Just trust me when I say that this book will have your emotions on a roller coaster, wanting to jump off. But keep holding on, and you will be happy when you get to the end. Trust me!

I can't wait for what else Dee Palmer comes out with! ~ Kara, 6 Amazing stars

This is my first book by Dee Palmer, and I am happy to see I enjoyed it. It feels marvelous browsing GR for books and than coming to one that actually satisfies your needs.

description

Artemis (Ada) D'Aubeney was 16 when she was pregnant by her first love Cal who she thought was her one and only. Her parents disowned her to save the family name, but Cal was there to save her, provide for her and the child. Until, one day he decided to stab her aiming directly at her heart

Ethan Cates is a sexy, flirtatious playboy. Every girl wants him, but he plays by his own rule. He never plays with the same girl twice. Until he meets Ada, and all of a sudden his rules dont make sense to him. She turns his life upside down, she becomes the only person he can think of, and the only person he NEEDS to unwrap every single minute of everyday.

This gets pretty sloppy, pretty hot, pretty intense. Ada keeps freezing and curling into her own bubble. She holds lots of secrets, and Ethan has to peel her layer by layer to figure out what it is keeping her stuck in that dark prison of hers.

Everyone has a chapter in their life they dont say out load. Everyone is afraid of trusting the wrong person, but sometimes you have to take a chance, take a leap and shed some layers for someone you think can be the one that night in shining armor. It wont be easy, it will be hard as hell, but one day you'll realize that it was the best decision you've made.

‘He has destroyed my life, ripped my family apart, and has left me in a million, shattered pieces, numb and desolate.’

This is our first book by Dee Palmer and we really enjoyed it, we fell in love with so many parts of this story as it surprised us along the way. What we loved was how this story showed the innate human resilience to tragedy and heart-break through an ingrained survival instinct. To say this is just an erotica read would be doing it a great injustice. Ethan’s Fall is a mix of double crossing families, wrong-doings and scandalous moments peppered with erotic passion. Whilst this book is billed as a standalone, we did feel we were missing a connection with Ethan from not having read the Choices trilogy of which this is a spin-off. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our first Dee Palmer read.

“I’m smart enough to know love like this doesn’t happen every day so there’s no fucking way anyone is taking that from me.”

Ethan is quite the complex character and we have to admit to not really connecting with him through the first half of the book. He was almost too arrogant with quite hurtful and aloof behaviour, we wanted to slap him. This is where we struggled; and we think, that had we read the trilogy we may have understood him better and related to where he’d been to correlate to where he is now. He did however grow on us as he slowly showed his heart and we couldn’t help but fall in love with him.

‘I’m not crazy; I’m angry. I’m unbelievably angry and hurt. I’ve been betrayed by the one person I loved in this world, and I’ve been deceived by the people who are supposed to love me most in the world.’

Now, Ada was the mysterious slip of a girl who was clearly in hiding. We get snippets and hints as well as a back story which completely broke our hearts. Her inner strength, her sassiness and her big heart won us over immediately and we were rooting for her throughout. Her journey is so twisted with never-ending harrowing circumstances and when it comes to her heart there’s no question it loves with all its might.

‘Was I really any different? Maybe not, but I am now. I wouldn’t recognise that silly, foolish, trusting girl from back then if I saw her standing right in front of me.’

If you enjoy your erotica and your characters being put through the wringer then this is a book for you. We will definitely be checking out more from Dee Palmer.

‘The fact that she is torn about her feelings for me is like a signed declaration that she is already mine.’

This one definitely had me furiously flipping the pages.

What a pleasant surprise that was..... I'm not always too keen on the guys that sleep with women for "fun" and never come back for round two, but I am certainly making an exception for Ethan. This is not what I was expecting at all. I was desperate to find out how the "thing" between Ethan and Ada would pan out. The chemistry and attraction alone were enough to keep me saying "one more chapter". There was no shortage of heartbreaking and heart melting moments in this one. I'm definitely glad I picked it up.

Just a warning.... but, you many want keep some tissues handy.

You know you're onto a winner when you can start a book and finish it in one sitting. And that is exactly what we did. All outside disturbances seemed not to exist as we once again lost ourselves in the story of Ethan and Ada.

Ethan is your typical rich, seasonal playboy. He's known as the type to never have a proper relationship, and never with a local girl. He prefers the uncomplicated flings with the tourist girls, who, once the summer is over, will return to their homes.

Ada has secrets. Secrets and a past that she is running from. She has no fixed address, instead, depending on the generosity of friends, finds herself couch surfing through the colder months, or sleeping on the beach.

The moment that Ethan and Ada meet, sparks will fly and they will find themselves in a world that neither of them ever dreamed of.

Ethan knows Ada has secrets, but he's also heard enough rumours around town. He needs to win Ada's trust, because he needs to know what she is running from. He needs to help her. Why? Because although they both swore that what they had between them was to be nothing more than a physical relationship, Ethan knows deep down that he loves this woman, and he would move heaven and earth just to keep her safe.

At first, Ada is reluctant to share her story with Ethan, considering the last person she shared the smallest snippet with, then turned around and used her past against her.

How do you tell the man you love that somewhere out there, you have a child? A child that your own parents and partner sold to another couple. And how do explain the two years missing from your life? Missing because your own father had you placed in a medical induced coma, in a mental institution.

Ada knows that eventually she will need to tell Ethan the truth, but she can't bear to lose him.

The truth will come out after a confrontation with Ada's past on a night out with Ethan's family. ( for those of you that read the choices trilogy, Daniel and Bethany make an appearance in this book. Ethan is Bethany's brother)

Will knowing the truth finally have Ethan running to save the love of his life, or running in the complete opposite direction?

And will Ada be reunited with the daughter she lost years before?

WOW WOW WOW. Dee, you've done it again. An absolutely mesmerising read.
We recommend this book to anyone who has read the Choices trilogy, and if you haven't read them, you definitely should!!!!

Ill kick off this review by saying that this book (Ethan's Fall) is a spin off from Dee Palmer's Choices trilogy and although things that happened in that series are mentioned, it's not necessary to have read them.
However, if you haven't, I highly recommend you do, they're brilliant!

Ada starts this tale off quite heart-wrenchingly and her sorrowful history immediately draws your empathy. She's surviving but only just and the weight of her past keeps her in isolation, in a self confining solitude.

In comes Ethan (who I already loved) who has had his own hardship to overcome. The betrayal he's experienced has left him stubbornly fixed on a life of fun, with a no-strings attached policy. He's a great guy, popular and caring but when he comes face to face with Ada, he seems to get a thrill out of riling her up.

This book is beautifully written! There are parts that are so amusing, I may have snorted in laughter a few times but it's also emotionally evocative and definitely drew a tear or two and had my heart stopping in fear more than once.
You know that feeling when you so desperately want things to work out but you're not sure they ever can, leaving you with a premature devastation? That's what this book did to me.

So if you're looking for a quick read, that you won't be able to put down (I was up til 3am!) then this is the book for you.
I can't recommend Ethan's Fall highly enough!

I honestly don't know how to rate this book. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the greatest thing I have ever read either. It was just ok.

I enjoyed the premise of the book, but it got dry in the middle and then the ending seemed rushed.

This was the first book I have read by Dee Palmer, and I liked how the main characters got along famously. I love how she portrayed Ada's character, the love, hurt and confusion all seemed life like. I belive she did a better job on Ada's character than Ethan's. He didn't seem as well thought out as Ada.

All in all not a bad book by no means.

Ethan decides he needs a summer to chill out and have loads of sex! Ethan is a playboy who gets a shock when he returned home and witnessed a porno taking place in his kitchen and he finds Ada who is a strange women at the beginning hiding in his bedroom.
Ada has had a terrible life so far and her family betrayed her, she just wants to hide away and never be found due to the consequence. Ethan wants to find out more about her past and what made her into the person that she is now. Ada thinks that Ethan is arrogant yet she still wants to get to know him.
A great book that you will love!

In Love with Ethan my heart it hurts for Ada the Epilogue how tragic! This was such a great story you get sucked in and even though so much happened so fast you don't miss anything. I want to kill certain people and just physically harm others. But Ethan is so hot and you just want to love him and do dirty things with him. Ada she's broken yet strong adorable and witty what's not to love .

I love Ada's story. I think my heart shattered into a million pieces a few times throughout the story. One star off for frequent basic grammatical and spelling errors.

Can I just say WOW! This was an amazing story and it had me wanting to reach into the pages and slap someone….actually quite a few someones! There was suspense, romance and a true love story that was so wonderful! This was my first book by Dee Palmer, and I can say that it will not be my last! It was AWESOME!

The book begins in a flashback to four years ago when Ada (Artemis d’Aubeney) is trying to scream and fight those around her, but she cannot fight back since she is drugged and committed to hell by her father. Her true love, Cal, and the father of her child, Pip, has turned her over to her parents who have arranged for her to be put away in a mental health facility under the story that she has had a mental breakdown and kidnapped a child. Her father last words to her are that he paid Cal to bring her to him and before leaving her hidden away with one last message “This has been most inconvenient Arti but never underestimate the lengths I will go to to protect the family name.”

We hop to the present day and meet Ethan, who has just returned to his beach home in Cornwall for the peak summer season with plans to fill his time with the S’s – Sun, Sea, Surf and Sex. He is gorgeous and quite the playboy and meets Ada when she is hiding in his apartment, while her good friend and Ethan’s ex Sky trashes the kitchen with a few other guys. You might expect the typical love at first sight story, but nope, he says that she needs to clean up the mess that Sky made and that she is not his type at all.

Turns out that Ethan is not such a bad guy but is recovering from a breakup with a crazy ex and in an effort to protect himself from getting hurt again he is won’t love a woman again. Ethan is so funny….at one point she reminds him that she is not his type and he comes back with “You’re not, but….I’m just not used to people hating me….It’s new and I’m not sure I’m a fan.”

To learn more about what happened to Ada, we flash back 2 years when she is coming out of the medically induced coma and she completely freaks when she realizes that Cal left her and Pip is gone. She panics and they sedate her again and when she finally comes out, she is still treated as a mental patient although there is a new doctor who wants to help her. Joan vows to help her and get her out of there, but just when Joan is convinced she leaves to talk to Ada’s father and never comes back. Ada realizes that her father will uphold his threat to her and escapes from the mental hospital.

So back to Ethan and Ada…..although they have an instant attraction, he is afraid of being hurt and she feels like she is unworthy of love. She spends hours on end searching for Pip, but she is afraid of asking for help since she is after all an escaped mental patient. It is a heart breaking situation, they are completely attracted to each other, but she is afraid to trust anyone for fear that her father will find her and finish what he started 4 years ago and he will not be involved with anyone who cannot trust him 100%.

Once he realizes that she is homeless he demands that she stay with him and they have a lot of seamy scenes, but she won’t let him in and he knows that she is keeping a bunch of secrets. You totally fall in love with each of them and are rooting for them to get past their issues and get together. Even though Ethan is quite the playboy, he is so loveable and the way he give Ada time to tell him her secrets is too much. It is almost enough to end them when he finds out all her secrets and that she has kept them from him for so long.

Just when you finally think they will get their HEA and they travel to London, her past catches up with her and by then Ethan is tired of being kept in the dark.

Without spoiling it, things happen that I never would have predicted. I just wanted them to live in their perfect bubble and their HEA, but Dee Palmer just throws some unexpected curves in the plot and I could not put it down! It is one of the best reads of 2015!

Holy wow! Ethan's Fall is a complete hit for me and will most definitely be one for you! The story of Artemis aka Ada and Ethan was absolutely everything I could ever have wanted in a dark romance. The suspense and excitement was spot on; but, the hot love story was the best.

From the very first chapter, Ada's character and story wrenches emotions right out of your chest. Yes, ugly crying will ensue and tissues must be at the ready. Ada is victimized by someone who should love her but who actually is so narcissistic about the family name crushes Ada to the core. Ms. Palmer pens an evil betrayal that left me breathless. I found myself without any hesitation turning page after page to see if Ada gets justice. With the grace of a good doctor, Ada eventually finds her freedom but at a cost of two years of her life in an asylum. Yes, this author gives you such detail that you can almost feel yourself standing in the room next to Ada as she silently screams the injustice. And you find yourself wondering, will she be saved.

Ms. Palmer does not disappoint you though when it comes to our hero. Ethan's character is just as dynamic. Our hero/rake, is suffering from a crazy and painful break up,and has developed a "love them and leave them" motto where women are concerned. He returns to his home in Cornwall after a long hiatus away only to come face to face with the beautiful and broken Ada. If you're thinking they instantly fall, then you'd be wrong. While their attraction is instant, Ms. Palmer makes you wait for the sweetness of these two. Although devastatingly broken inside, Ada has an innate fierceness mixed with sweet mischief. She becomes an enigma for Ethan when she captures him completely the first time she smiles at him. When they finally are together, let's just say their passion burns very hot and very steamy. I can honestly say I was fist pumping "yes!" because some encounters were just that overwhelmingly hot. Can you tell I love these characters? The climax of Ethan Falls is written with a bang of strong, almost crippling emotions, a thwarted kidnapping, and an exquisite piece of blackmail. Even better is the end that is heart wrenchingly sweet. No, that bit you have to read for yourself and totally worth your time.

This was my first book from this author and I can safely say it definitely won't be my last. Dee Palmer might just very well grace your bookshelves over and over with her skill. Don't miss Ethan's Fall!

It takes a really great book to keep me distracted from my other love, football, and with today being the last day of the season, I was doubly shocked that Ethan's Fall did just that. I can say with utter certainly that I will never start another Dee Palmer book on a #SundayFunday! She completely blew my mind with this story. I'm not even sure if I can come up with words for everything that I felt reading this brilliant story but here goes.

Ada is living the life of a nomad after certain events in her past have her hiding from her family. She can't be on payroll books, nor can she rent her own place so she couch surfs with friends or just sleeps on the beach. Everything that she has lost has her keeping to herself, but others can see the pain, but she won't give up until she finds the person that is her life. Ethan has had his heart broken in the past, so now his heart is hardened, and he refuses to give it away again. He loves women, he's just never going to love just one woman. His life is not the same when he comes face to face with Ada. At first, he's just a douche to her, but then he finds that he can't get her out of his head. So he decides to have her as his sex buddy, and that suits her just find as she can't take the chance to trust anyone every again. The problem is that feelings start to grow, and neither know how to deal with it. Will Ada be able to keep Ethan at arms length so she's not distracted from her purpose?

WOW WOW WOW! I never expected the emotional journey that I went on with Ethan's Fall! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this story so much, but my heart has been ripped out, stomped on, before finally shoved back in hard. The character development is fantastic, with a few secondaries that need their own story. An emotional, gut wrenching, and well written story line flows effortlessly. Dee Palmer does a brilliant job yanking out all of my emotions, and I cried a couple of times, as the pain of Ada's life came out of my kindle to choke me. I literally had a hard time catching my breath more than once. The author's talented writing style had my heart racing cover to cover, and I'm still physically exhausted from experiencing this heart wrenching but AMAZING story! Chemistry is flammable leading to EXPLOSIVELY HOT sexy scene goodness that I couldn't get enough of. I'm so very grateful that it didn't end in a cliff hanger as I'm not sure I could have dealt with that with grace, (more like threats to the author), so I will end with this; I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY and finally HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

There is a lot to say about first impressions and judging books by their covers. I resolutely stand by my first impression of Ethan Cates, because as gorgeous as his cover is, he is a massive prick.

I am an emotional wreck after this great read.

This is Ada’s story.
You are immediately thrust into a heart wrenching scene that you just can’t comprehend, when the people you should be able to trust the most betray you in a horribly cruel way.

The story moves forward a little over two years. We meet Ethan a bar owner and partner with Buddy (Ada’s boss). Ethan is returning for a much needed break and decides to stay for awhile.
I have to say that when Ethan and Ada meet the first time it was classic and hilarious (I loved it). Of course this first meeting causes sparks to fly in many ways, Ethan seems to awaken something in Ada she hasn't felt in a long time. There is something about Ada that captures Ethan’s attention.

All of the characters involved added a great element to the story. Although I would have loved to strangle Sylvia, I felt like she betrayed Ada in such a horrible way.
I really loved the Princess Bride “As you wish” and the henna tattoo that Ada gives Ethan was hilarious.

“If I’m honest, I think I am nervous. I never actually believed this day would happen, so I didn’t even have it in my reserves as something to consider.”

There is so much to this great story that I would love to share but I don’t want to spoil anything.
You are guaranteed a couple of ugly cry moments due to lies and betrayal.
I loved how everything came together in the end, there was no questions left unanswered and a wonderful twist.

I am in love. This was the book that I was reading before the last year ended and it was perfect. And as I am writing this Review right now my feet are bouncing up and down with excitement. Saying that I love the book would be an understatement. I feel like it hit every right spot and every thing the author wants to address, I caught it.

Dee has had a rough life, still is living a rough life, really rough that up until this minute my heart is still breaking because of the years she missed and all the things she's been through. Ethan's an ass. I remember being angry at him when it all started but every time they push and pull each other it was really cute and worth it. The emotions were chaotic and both characters were hilarious trying to grip on the control that they have on them selves. Oh, and their foreplay is cute.

The satisfaction that I felt when I finished the book was more than bliss. Seriously, I feel like I smiled and exhaled a lot of times while reading the book. The betrayal, the distrust, the strength and the lust, I felt it all in this book. For me it was perfectly written and the book does not only have intense romance but it also possesses humor and so much resistance. I loved it. I have not read any book from the author before and I am seriously impressed.

I gave this book 5 Amazing Stars!!

I'm just going to start off saying that I'm in love Ethan! I first fell for him in The Choices Trilogy. There is just something about him that I have been drawn to and I absolutely would love to have one night with that man. He is all my Alpha male with his dirty talk and walk but he has the biggest heart too and I can see why the ladies are so drawn to him.

This book at the beginning will have you drawing in all your strength and you will wish you can go into the book to help Ada. As a mom this really played with my emotions and I so wanted to go and kick her daddy a$$ but I new that he would get his own and so would Ada ex.

Ethan was hurt with what all went down in Bethany sister and is looking for anything but a summer of fun, but what he gets is so much more. Ada is running from her past and has landed in the quite ocean town working at the local bar. Ethan has been traveling and has come to the one place that always seemed like home. When Ethan comes into his apartment he wasn't expected the seen he finds or the woman in his bed.

Ethan feels something for Ada but knows she is holding out on him and he wants her to trust him. When she finally agrees that its ok to live a little, she didn't know her past and present were going to collide. Can Ada get Ethan to forgive her and Can she get away from her past to be able to have a future?

I have to say that Dee know how to give you everything your looking for in a book. I highly recommend reading all of her books.

Deciding he needs a summer to relax and have lot's of sex, playboy Ethan isn't expecting the scene that welcomes him when he goes home after been away. His first meeting with Ada does not go well, he walks into his home to find a real life porno been played out in his kitchen and a strange woman hiding in his room. When he finds out Ada, the strange woman, has secrets, it makes him all the more determined to get inside her head.
Ada, poor, sweet Ada, has had a shocking life. From a young age, it just never seems to go right for her, but then her family deliver the final, ultimate betrayal. Determined to fight, she's doing her best under the circumstances but she's struggling. Not wanting to get close to anyone, Ada pushes Ethan away, but that just makes Ethan want to know more. With no family, friends, or job and with nowhere to live, Ethan does his best to look out for her. I really felt for Ada, she is a sweet girl who has been handed the worst hand in life, but she tries. When faces from her past make an appearance Ethan steps up his effort to find out what she's hiding. Ethan, i absolutely loved. I adore this man, how could i not? He is everything a man should be.
Another really good book from Dee Palmer, i find it hard to believe she's a fairly new author. This book has it all, a gripping story, a hot, sweet, sexy man and a main female character that you just wanna hug, then go on a killing rampage for. Normally when i read a book, i'm all about the male character but for me, Ada stole this book completely.

5 stars!

I read The Choices Trilogy in succession right before reading Ethan's Fall. This way , I had a better glimpse of Ethan's back story and character. However, to be honest, Ethan's Fall could really be read as a standalone. And it is phenomenal.

I liked that the plot started with Ada's background. It is very moving and downright emotional. I love her character . She's feisty but calm, strong but vulnerable, broken but hopeful, aggressive but humble. She's from a fucked up "royal family" but she ends up sleeping in the beach or jumping from a friend's couch to another and just basically trying to make ends meet, but never losing focus of her mission,... and that is , to get back someone who has been taken from her. She then meets the notorious playboy Ethan and their chemistry together is so explosive.

Ethan is manwhore who is never known to do relationships. He has also been burned in the past so he has trust issues and he sticks with his rules. But when he meets Ada, he is just drawn to her like a moth to a flame and he breaks, no.. changes, his own rules. Because even though he knows Ada is hiding from her past and keeping secrets , he knows she is worth keeping because she was his.

I enjoyed this book. It had some light and funny moments , but it also had a lot of tear-jerkers, a fantastic storyline , super sexy with light BDSM , compelling characters, and a happy ending.

This is my first Dee Palmer book and it was such a surprise. Ethan's Fall can be read as a standalone however I discovered it is a follow up to The Choice's Trilogy. I will be adding it to my TBR for 2016.

Ada's story begins in the past and you feel her pain throughout her journey. My emotions were all over the place with Ada's story. She was given such heartbreak at a young age and experiences situations that no person much less a teenager should have to face. Ada calls herself a coward for not fighting for her daughter but when that choice is taken away from her and is in an induced coma for two years she finds it hard to trust anyone.

Ethan wasn't your typical sleep around playboy. We find him going through his own heartbreak and difficulty in trusting others. He comes home to be carefree in no commitment relationships and one night stands for the summer. He didn't expect to meet Ada but their first encounter is one of my favorite scenes.

This book has such humor that it had me laughing out loud at some of the crazy banter between the characters. I cried during some of the saddest moments and got mad at the betrayal Ada endured. Oh and did I mention there was even some danger & suspense? Well there is and you will love how Ethan's Fall touched on all areas of a great book.

I highly recommend Ethan's Fall. It was such a wonderful surprise.

We were first introduced to Ethan as Bethany's adopted brother in the first Choices novel. You don't need to read them to enjoy this book as it is a stand alone although there are references to events that occurred in the trilogy it doesn't detract from this being a great read.
Ethan is your tanned, hot surfer type with trust issues that never has a relationship with the same girl twice until he meets Ada. Ada is on the run from a terrible situation that was imposed on her by her parents. Determined to keep under the radar and find her daughter, she's a strong determined character with an amazing sense of humour. The chemistry between the two is on point. I have laughed, cried and held my breath along the way. There are a few twists and turns which I didn't see coming, this is a typical Dee Palmer book; great characters, great story line and a pager turner from start to finish.

A thoroughly enjoyable read!

Ethan Fall can be read as a stand alone book or after you have read Dee triologys
Never a Choice, for me l had read the triologys and was better able to understand why Ethan felt the way he did however this book is its own story in its own right.

The 1st chapter had me hooked and as a mother it pulled on my heart strings straight away from then on l was routing for Ada.

You think you know how the story is going to pan out but it doesn't it has twists and turns all the way through and has you feeling all sorts of emotions and when an author can do that your are on to a food thing.

Dee has published 4 books so far and l love them all l like her fresh thinking and her ability to put you in the story, l love to be lost and not to put the books down and this is what Dee does.

Go on download this book and get lost in Ethan Fall

This is my 4.5 Dee Palmer story. Having read the books back to back, I've obviously enjoyed meeting Dee's characters. Actually, I've loved them, even if they infuriate me.

I'm thankful that an author resolved the issues in one book, instead of cliff hangers, which I think she did with Ethan's Fall. There were so many times in the story that I thought she might detour and I would be left waiting for the next installment.

But I am left waiting and wanting more of Dee's characters. I still want to keep up with Bethany, Daniel, Ethan and now Ada because they have become characters I care about, but I'm also wanting to learn more about new characters.

I'm ready for the next Dee Palmer Choices book. Who? I'm thinking "Sky." And then there is Tom. I really, really like him. He's just the right age. :-)

I need to find a Dee Palmer email notification email list!!

A story of the utmost betrayals, a love so blinding, a love you feel is not deserved and a loneliness.

Ada, (Artimus) has been betrayed by those who should of protected and loved her. She's now hiding and searching.
Ethan, has been traveling the world for the last year and finally decided that he's done "hiding", as others believe, although he kept intouch through Skype. He's come home to begin again.

This is one emotional, hawt, steamy sex and a connection between two people. One of a love with no boundaries. There were times of tears and then of happiness. At times I felt the sorrow of the betrayals along with Ada, while I read her story, and happiness when Ethan offered her the protection she so desired.

Another 5* read from Dee Palmer ..

'Choices trilogy' was fantastic, i loved it ! So i was eager to get stuck into Ethans Fall, and it certainly didn't disappoint. We first meet Ethan in the trilogy so i advise you read that first, characters from the trilogy are also in this book. Love Ethan he's laid back, sweet and hot, he's also a love em and leave em type of guy. Until he comes across Ada. There are definitely some pretty hot sex scenes, which this author is perfect at writing. I found Ada's story so sad, which at times made me very emotional. Was really rooting for them to get HEA. Dee Palmer has fast become a favourite author of mine, will definitely read more from her. Read it you'll love it, 5***** ! :-)

This is not your "run of the mill" naughty book writer. Nor is it mushy romance. She is listed under erotica but I think she should be pushed over into the edge of the horror genre. She has a habit of gripping you by the throat for the last third of her books and you can't put it down OR go to sleep.
The end of Ethan's Choice made me forget to feed my dogs last night, they were STARVING this morning! ) I did give them a late night snack, don't worry about them they are spoiled) If you own a dog, you'll know why I didnt feed them at 1 a.m......_
Not meant as a negative statement, but I liked the Choices trilogy more than Ethan's Choice, simply because it was SO psychologically terrifying, but this book was very exciting and satisfying.
Read them all! I have.

There is a lot going on in this book, but do not fear you will not get lost, you will just get sucked along for an amazing ride. I am going to sound vague but there are so many surprises in this book i do not want to spoil them at all for you. Ethan as the blurb suggests is a playboy and i can attest to that after reading the book. Ada is a mystery she is there but lost also part of her soul is drifting away from her. Ada has a lot to lose while Ethan he does not realise he could lose a part of himself until he meets Ada. There are secrets, scandals and betrayal with a healthy shot of romance in this book. Cannot wait to see what else is out there to read from this author.
