Batman believed he ruled the night in Gotham City, but the secret society known as the Court of Owls has been pulling the strings all along. Now the Batman family works to save the citizens of Gotham before it all comes crumbling down. But can even they survive The Night of the Owls?
Scott Snyder is the Eisner and Harvey Award winning writer on DC Comics Batman, Swamp Thing, and his original series for Vertigo, American Vampire. He is also the author of the short story collection, Voodoo Heart, published by the Dial Press in 2006. The paperback version was published in the summer of 2007.
Seriously, you can walk into the library and read the whole thing in one book. It's like DC saying "Oh hey, remember this story line that wasn't as good as Death Of The Family? You can still buy it! Give us your money!" Of course they're making NFTs now too which is the lowest form of money grubbing.
Good color artwork. The court of owls story line is quite good. The fact that Bat man and family are fighting against a version of themselves is amusing. Vigilante vs vigilante, ethical quandaries.
