Can he survive long enough to make it home...and can he get Ava to abandon Earth to be with him?
A science fiction and fantasy romance in the Terraneu series of books by Stormy McKnight. (Again...warning that this is a short read.)
I wish I could make this part more interesting for you. I would love to say that I am a highly decorated author with loads of accolades to my name. I wish it were so...but unfortunately, it is not true...Yet. I am holding out hope that this will change soon.
In reality, I am just a regular person. I have been working at one job or another since I was sixteen. I am not ashamed to say that is thirty years of 9 to 5 and sometimes 6 to 6. Whatever it took to get the job done. Then about a year ago, I was teaching technology at the grade school level when my teenage daughter self-published a book. I was fascinated with the process. Empowered by seeing her dream come true, I decided to give it a try. I am a huge fan of Romance novels and had even tried writing in the past but had no idea where to go with my ideas. With my daughter's encouragement, I finally got my first book ready and self-published.
Did the whole process change me? Not really. I still get up and put my pants on one leg at a time. I still work hard and take what life hands me. The only difference now is that I have a deeper appreciation for all the hard work self-publishing takes. Being in front of the computer, writing my stories, is still my escape. I hope in some small way, that my stories are entertaining and an escape for the reader as well.

I am disappointed to see where these series are going.
I had a lot of fun with the other books in the series and I was happy when the long lost evil brother showed up in the plot. But when nothing happened my excitement for the series has dropped to 2* as of this book.
Nothing really happened in the book.
Knadyn was captured, not sure how because SM didn't write about it. He was held prisoner and tortured, mentally by his captor who was the man in charge of what was left of the english/ scottish government and incidentally ex-fiancee of Ava. Saved by his family Knadyn is back on Terraneu and his family discovers that his mind was altered and there might be a passcode to unlock it. Ava who was taken to Terraneu at her father's and Knadyn request must spend time with Knadyn - 6 months - to help him.
And that was the end of the whole story for me. The romance was not built enough for me, the intimate scenes were almost overlooked and the plot.... Well, for me there was no plot.
To make it worse for me, there was a passcode to Knadyn's memory that...left me speechless.
I am very disappointed with the lack of substance and depth to the plot. I cannot believe I am saying this but, I would have prefered this to be written in a shorter version because literally didn't work for me. It is unfortunate because the series had a great idea behind the plot.
I read all six books in the series and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. The stories got better as they went along and with the improvements to the grammar and editing the readability improved as well . I love the characters and the plot of the story is not as far-fetched as it first seemed to be. Love stories are great, and the erotic parts will definitely get you going.
I thought I had read the last of the Terraneu books. They flashed across my mind the other day and I started searching and voila more books, am loving it.
