I signed up for Goodreads years ago, with every intention of joining in. Life got in the way. Three adult children, five grandchildren, and blessed to have my father able to travel and visit (at age 95) has been keeping me busy. Since signing up, I've been to Ireland a couple of times, accompanied my father on a number of cruises (including from England to the US and from California to Hawaii and back). I know just how blessed I am.
It's time to get back to my life and a huge part of my life is reading and getting to know my readers. It may take a little time to get accustomed to this site and to populate everything, but know that I am working on it.
For those generous enough to have stayed with me all these years, I owe you such a debt of gratitude. I'm back and much more focused.
Healing Tea, the thirteenth instalment of Sheila Horgan's Tea series, is exactly what the title suggests. It's the healing denouement after the shocking events of the previous book. Life is slowly moving on for the shell-shocked O'Flynn family. It's beautiful to see how this close family can endure, and embrace each other, albeit slowly for some of its family members, after tragedy has struck. Ms. Horgan's book, as always, draws the reader into the warmth and security, yet ever-changing excitement of the O'Flynn's world, leaving us always wanting the story to continue.
