This bundle contains the first three installments of the seven part series.
Connor, Logan and Zak are all part of an elite SEAL team that have served their country above and beyond. Now due to the kindness of their old CO who has died and left them everything, they have settled in the quaint little coastal southern town of Briarwood. A far cry from the rough and tumble beginnings of some of the men, but they're more than ready to settle down. The men, more brothers than friends, have each found their one and only Connor and Lo falls for two local debutantes who keep them on their toes, while Zak is reunited with an old flame from his days in the service, one who comes with a little surprise in the form of his baby girl. All is not happy days and sunshine though, as the men find their little haven rife with midnight clandestine happenings that have set some of the older folks of Briarwood's tongues wagging. Now everyone is looking to them to get to the bottom of whatever it is that has been going on down at the waterfront under cover of night.
CONNOR (Book 1)
When ex SEAL Connor Malone and his six brothers in arms inherit a plot of land in the small Georgia town they decide it's just what they need to fulfill their dream of staying together stateside. The seven men have lived hard and fought harder all their lives and now all they’re looking forward to is a life of ease running the construction company they've started together. Connor isn't really looking to settle down. During his years in service he and his brothers had made a pact never to get hitched while they were still signed up. But after their old CO the man who'd been like a father to the seven young men he'd taken under his wing and molded into the men they were today died. They learned some things that didn't sit too well with them so they decided as a team to cash out. Now their homes are built and the business is going fine. There's just one blur on their otherwise perfect horizon. It seems someone has decided to use their quiet little slice of paradise for illegal activities. Not only that but the young and genteel Danielle Dupree has set her sights on the rough and rugged Connor and no matter what he does he can't seem to shake her. So he does the only thing left for him to do, he takes her. But can the well-bred southern belle and the street kid turned soldier find a balance?
LOGAN (Book 2)
In this continuing saga, the seven brothers in arms who have retired to their little slice of heaven finds themselves embroiled with some kind of mastermind criminal ring. With suspicions rising about the death of their old friend the commander, Logan has his hands full with his new lady love. A little firebrand who doesn't fear the SEAL not even a little bit and is set on giving him fits at every turn.
ZAK (Book 3)
After being separated for almost two years, Zak finally has his girl back and this time this ex SEAL has no intentions of letting her go again. She'd ran scared because she couldn't handle his over possessiveness and the way she thought he wanted to rule her life, but two years apart had shown her that she couldn't live without him. There was just one thing, a secret that could tear them apart for good.
DNF. 40% I may come back to read it. This isn’t as good as Jordan’s other more recent books. The characters are one dimensional. Was reading it through the KU program.
This is an entertaining book but if you do not like a lot of cursing and a "filthy" story do not read it. I generally do not like a filthy book but have been surprised by my enjoyment of this series so far. I am currently reading book 4. The underlying story sucks you in. The sex scenes are totally unrealistic but entertaining. The men are very rough but obviously love their women, although I would consider their actions somewhat abusive the underlying idea that they are only trying to provide for their women's safety makes their actions somewhat acceptable ( although in life I'm sure no self respecting woman would put up with these men). Overall I have found this series unrealistic but very entertaining and have enjoyed the books.
All three of these stories are smoking hot with totally alpha men and stubborn strong willed women. Baby Zak is just precious and Ty going nuts for her is just adorable. Lots of clues about what they are fighting against and what the heck is going on in the little town the SEALs now call home. Fabulous story-lines, wonderful characters and good writing. There are some editing issues in all three books, but the story-line is so compelling I was able to overlook them. You definitely need to read this series in order so you can follow the over-arching story. Fantastic stories Jordan Silver!
Connor, Logan and Zak's stories will keep you glued to the pages with its action-packed drama. These alpha men will do everything in their power to keep their ladies safe. My favorite is Connor. Connor and his Seal Team buddies inherit a plot of land that they start to build on. He meets the beautiful Danielle, and their relationship begins. It is given from both of their POV's.
These have to be the most crazy, psychotic ,sexy, and controlling group of men I have ever read about and I loved every minute of it.This was one of the best series I read in a long time, the writing is so well fleshed that you get a clear vision of not only the men but the women who love them. This is a homerun of a story! This is sexy erotic, romance and a little mystery thrown in with a group of bad boy military men and it's good. Now of course there are going to be some moments you are not going to like, like for instance that reference to breeding them(so old-fashioned)but hey we are talking alpha's all the way.If you want sexy done right with a little sexy thrown in then this is the story.
Very, very Controlling alphas, Neanderthals who are also SEAL’s on top of it, who love their women beyond comprehension but also expect them to obey, without questions, and are into extreme punishment sex and behavior.
Add to that a mystery of something violent and illegal going on in their town, some old missions, new threats, and lots of comradery and friendship.
Book 1 - Connor and Danielle - Connor Book 2 - Logan and Gabriella - Logan Book 3 - Zak and Vanessa - Zak

Book 1 - Connor and Danielle - Connor Book 2 - Logan and Gabriella - Logan Book 3 - Zak and Vanessa - Zak
Zack, Connor, and Logan are part of an elite Seal team. They each found a girlfriend they ended up loving. They were a controlling group of men and very sexy and very erotic. It had a mystery involve. They protected their own. You either love it or hate it. Parts were a little more aggressive than I personally would like, but they worked for the characters. I look forward for future stories.
Connor: not what I expected...there is alpha and then there is asshole and he falls into the latter category.
Logan: just wow, no connection between this couple. Logan is borderline abusive and Gaby is a pain in the ass to read about. The only good thing was seeing Connor and Dani.
Zak: well it's better than the last book that's for sure but we are still let not knowing why Vanessa kept her secret.
I love the stories about the first three members of Seal Team 7. I didn't love the multiple grammatical errors and lack of proper punctuation that interrupted the flow of my reading.
It wasn't that bad the stories, but a little too much alpha cavemen for my taste. I like an alpha but this guys cross the line for me some times. Although they love fearless and know what they want and go for it.
I read the first two but couldn't finish the third. Was in the mood for the over the top crazy alpha male but these stories had plots that just didn't interest me so was a struggle.
I love this series. Warning. A lot of cursing. Sex is at times used as punishment, and can skits abusive.. However, these women were fully informed of the expectations of their men and the consequences of going against them. The men of SEAL Team 7, aren't nice men. They are hard, cruel, and brutal. They all came from rough childhoods. They bonded as brothers under their CO. They survived hell over and over together, and keep each other from complete going over the edge. When their CO dies he leaves everything to his team. The men retire to his home town and build a compound. They had always planned on staying together. Their new home town is full of southern bells and hospitality. Connor is then first to fall. Dani is from old money. Works for her families charitable foundation. When Connor claims her as his, he tells her up front what all in means to him and the 6 men who will call her sister. Dani tests Connor's orders and finds he is true to his word. Things aren't what they seem in their new home. Dani is being set up for money laundering. As the team uncovers more, the set up involves some powerful people, and may have causes the murder of their CO. Loved Connor and Dani.
Logan is the next to fall. Gaby is Dani's best friend. A sharp tongued southern bell, who seems to be forever testing Logan. She frequently acts like she is 15 and not 25. The men have the women on lock down in the compound. The team continues to investigate their COs murder and the apparent drug trafficking it was related to. Rummers reach them of an enemy from the middle east, who they thought was dead has them peeping for a potential overseas mission. With babies on the way. The Teams priority is keeping the women safe. I totally feel for Lo, Gaby just doesn't learn.
Zak had his soul mate only to have her walk away. Vanessa, Nesaa, or Red to Zak, was a marine. She was assigned to SEAL Team 7, for a special mission. Zak and her had an instant connection. At the end of the mission Zak wanted her to opt out and go home and wait for him. Nessa had career goals and chose to follow her dream. Two years have passed and the team need her help. When Nessa get a call from Lo, she can't say no, even though she will have to face Zak. Nessa and Zak reconciliation is short lived . When trouble from their investigation threatens, Nessa is forced to reveal a secret, that loses her Zak. While the Team is angry with her she is still their sister and they work hard to talk Zac down. When Zak learns the reason for her keeping quiet, he is deviated by his treatment of her and she has to convince him that she loves and needs him. Looking forward MTO Ty, Cord, Quinn and Devon's stories. SPOILER I loved how Zak took care of his daughter. I loved his brothers were so proud to be uncles. Ty especially. I loved how they worked to bring Zak and Nessa back together. I loved Nessa. She is my favorite of the women so far. I felt for both Zak and Nessa, empathizing with both their points of view.
